It is firm (as many other reviews have stated). While it doesn't sleep hot by any means, it doesn't necessarily sleep cool either. I was a little disappointed because I had hoped it would help with night sweats. But I have experienced reduced back pain since I bought it.

After suffering from lower back pain for several years, we finally decided to try a new mattress. I was skeptical that it would help my back, but since I hadn't slept well in quite awhile, and I didn't care for our mattress, I figured I had nothing to lose. The first night on our Purple mattress was amazing. Despite having a horrible cold and cough, I was still more comfortable and able to sleep better on Purple than I had been able to do before. We have had our mattress for 3 weeks now. Each night brings restful sleep, and each morning I am able to get up without back pain. I'm never going back! Thank you Team Purple!

My wife and I got a king size original mattress. The bed is great and we both agree that we are getting better quality sleep. The only problem we have with the bed is after 2 weeks, we found a divot near one of the corners. The bed sank down about 1-2 inches. Luckily it has not impacted us too much. Hopefully the product holds up for a few years.

Love the mattress even though the first couple nights my back started hurting. It could be that it just needed to adjust to the change or something else not related I couldn't really tell. I do like the fact I can sleep on my side my easier even though I'm a stomach sleeper. My sleep has been better but I am experiencing muscle pains I haven't before yet don't know if it's related or not at this time.

We upgraded from a queen size bed to a king size bed and we love the larger size. Overall we had a great experience buying from Purple. Everything came all at once and we got it set up in no time. I slept so good the first night. I tend to wake up in the morning with very sore joints, and they were significantly less sore after sleeping on the Purple mattress. We decided to buy the lowest priced mattress and even though it is comfortable I do wish we would have spend the extra money for the most expensive one because I personally love filling like I'm sleeping on a cloud (due to my joint pain).

Never been more sleep deprived after a week on Purple in my life. My back hurt horribly bad all through the night. Constant tossing and turning. I go to a chiropractor regularly as well, therefore my back is in good alignment. Maybe the higher priced beds are better, but too expensive to try.

My wife and disagree on mattress firmness. We spent a lot of time shopping for a mattress we both liked. We took a leap of faith and bought the purple mattress. My wife thinks it's the perfect combination of soft and firm and I have never slept better.

Comfortable, affordable, it works for us, we've had ours about 3 months I think and still love it. I recommend using the recommended sheex sheets with it to maximize comfort. It can be a little warm if you lay in same spot all night, but not bad enough to make it not worth it. 5 stars

My husband and I love our king size purple mattress. It is just perfect. It keeps your body temperature regulated all night, I never feel too hot or cold. It contours to your body. You can't feel when the other person shifts, rolls over or gets out of bed. It is truly a wonderful mattress and worth every penny!

I've had it about a month now and at first I wasn't blown away. It's much firmer than I had anticipated, but it is very supportive. The more I use it the more I like it. Worth the money? ..... hmmm I'm back and forth on that one. It's an awful lot for a mattress, but then again it gets used an awful lot. If you're on the fence, I would definitely say to give it a try!
