We love our bed! I never imagined I would write a review for a mattress but I really believe everyone should own one of these! I've suffered from headaches that start in my neck for as long as I can remember...3 months with this bed and not. A. Single. One! The fact that my husband (over 6ft fall and 180lb) and myself ( 5ft tall and 100lb) can both sleep comfortably on this bed is amazing! It doesn't stay as cool as I was originally hoping, but it's so comfortable that I hardly even notice. Best bed ever.

I've always been a stomach sleeper. I had previously found sleeping on my side or back too uncomfortable to fall asleep. After trying purple I'm happy to say I've started sleeping on my back and side a lot more often. It's so hard not to just stay in bed all the time now.

We got this bed as a last resort because I'm pregnant and wake up every morning sore and more tired than the night before. I was hoping Purple would solve that problem. I do feel more support with this bed than with our old mattress, and I have less back pain, but I do not find it very comfortable in general. However, I don't know if that's because you can't really expect to be comfortable when you're expecting. You have to sleep on your side when you're pregnant, and I think that is part of the problem -- there isn't enough "give" for wider preggo hips. I'm hoping that after the baby comes and I can sleep on my back again that I will really love this bed, because it does feel comfortable when I lie on my back for a few minutes at a time.

We love our purple mattress. I bought mine after a hip replacement and before a knee replacement, these beds just can't be beat for "floating" you gently on a raft of comfort. I've just bought another one, and my son and daughter in law bought one and my friends bought one.... We are all happy.

I've had a purple mattress for 3 years and I feel I can now give it a fair review. When I first received the mattress I thought it was so amazing to lay on! It felt so good on my back and my bad hip. It took getting used to but was super comfy. I did notice that I would wake up with a numb arm sometimes because I didn't need to shift or roll as much to get comfy but that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. What frustrates me now is that the mattress is definitely sunken in the middle even though that wasn't supposed to happen. It feels like a 30 year old well used mattress instead of only 3 years. I often end up sliding toward my husband in the middle of the night and definitely get too hot. Also, I normally sleep on the right side of the bed, but my bad hip is now at an angle that hurts too much so I've needed to switch sides. Minor complaint but still annoying that the sag is that pronounced. So I would say this mattress does not live up to the hype. Maybe it does in the first year but it doesn't stand the test of time. I suppose it's true that you get what you pay for.

I like that the original is the best price and is just the right softness. I am just over 6' and average weight and sleep side and back about evenly. Also really appreciated the customer service and all the questions they answered for me before we purchased. I have already recommended to friends. Thanks!

Honestly, I have a bad back and the bed definitely felt weird the first couple of weeks. You sink in when you first sit on it but it pops back right away. I wasn't convinced that it would support the way I need it to. However, I truly feel the back support with the rubber grating and finally I wake up without back pain!!! I can tell you having scoliosis I have suffered for far too long and don't know why I haven't invested in a great bed until now. This bed will change your life, I know it did for me!! My fiance loves it and can't rave about it enough! I have been telling everyone now they need one!

due to a very hectic summer, i was finally able to get the bed up on 7/24/21 and tried it for one week-on the first day i woke up feeling great-no back pain, however as i slept on the mattress each day became more painful not only in my low back with my severe spinal stenosis, arthritis, spondylosis and degenerative disc disease, my shoulders became quite painful as well, to the point i could barely raise my arms. i have since place my 3 inch foam topper on top of the purple mattress and am slightly tolerating it but still having the increased pain in both my back and shoulders. my next step is to get an additional foam mattress pad.

It is without a doubt the most comfortable and coolest mattress I've ever had. I still get hot and I still need a fan blowing on me while sleeping on it but I don't think it's the mattress' fault because I'm a naturally warm-bodied person and I don't get as hot nor as quickly with this mattress as I did with my old mattress. The purple mattress allows for ventilation while my old mattress didn't allow for any.

Sadly I had to return my matress. Due to severe back issues it is not comfortable for me at all. It feels too hard for me. Also I cannot sleep on my stomach with this bed. I wss really upset to have to return it because I heard such good things about it. I guess it just doesn't work for everyone!
