Our purple mattress is pretty good... My wife likes it more than I do, it is too soft for me. I had to put some extra support (3/4 inch plywood) under my half of the bed so I didn't sink in as deeply. I am 6 feet tall/220 lbs and without the extra support it was not comfortable at all. Now it is ok. One great thing about the mattress is that it does not seem to retain any heat at all. That is wonderful for a hot sleeper like me.

I have been sleeping on the Purple original mattress for almost a month and what a difference! My previous bed was a pillow top box spring mattress I had for several years. For the past year, I can never get comfortable. I toss and turn throughout the night, wake up frequently, and by morning, my whole body aches. I like that the mattress keeps me neither too hot or too cold. Going to sleep is an ease because I'm not constantly repositioning just to get comfortable. Recently I spent a night in a hotel with a box spring mattress and all I can think about was my purple mattress. I wish I can take my Purple mattress everywhere I go.

My wife and I ordered a queen size mattress on Cyber Monday this past Thanksgiving. We ordered several items, including the mattress, sheets, foundation, and pad. So far, we love all of the products. The foundation is very sturdy and provides more under bed storage than we had previously. The mattress is the best that I've ever had (previously had an air mattress with adjustable numbers, which I liked but...this is better). Very comfortable and I my sleep is the best in years. It took my wife a couple weeks to adjust but she now loves the mattress as well. The only reason that I didn't give a 5 star rating is that the items were shipped separately. The mattress arrived first. The foundation arrived a week or so later. I would have preferred that they were shipped at the same time so that I could set the bedroom up only one time. The mattress is fairly heavy and the process was more cumbersome than needed. Don't know if delaying shipment of the mattress was an option but I would have gladly done that. Other than that, buying a mattress online was well worth the risk.

I'm a 31 year old Service Technician for John Deere. I hurt my back about a month ago and realized my old mattress wasn't doing me any favors recovering. I read all the reviews, researched extensively, and decided to take the plunge. I gave it a couple weeks, and the results were obviously noticeable. I've had my bed for close to two months now. At first I was barely getting sleep but because the mattress was so comfy I slept so good and fell refreshed the entire day. Now I sleep about 6-8 hours on average and it's great. Only downside is I won't be comfortable in other beds when I travel. The bed frame is nice and sits up high which is great for me since I'm 6'3. My only issue is it was advertised to now squeak and mine does. It's not a deal breaker and my back is way better since getting this bed. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Literally the only thing in 15 years that has helped my back. Sleeping jsed to be the only thing that releived my bad back. When even sleeping became uncomfortable I searched forver for a solution. 2 beds bed-n-a-box later and I finally found the perfect one. Purple for the win!

This mattress is so comfortable it's honestly insane! Coming home from a long day at work and getting to lay on this is absolute HEAVEN. It definitely isn't cheap but let me tell you, it is so worth the extra money! You spend half your life on a bed, you should invest in this!

We love our purple mattress! There is a faint odor at first but it goes away quickly. Month one three and four have been fabulous. Month two was a bit rough--the bones in my lower back had to get used to actually being supported. As my muscles finally relaxed, the bones shifted and I did have pain for about four weeks. Totally worth it for the wonderful three months and counting that have been full of great sleep! This mattress is superior to any other we have tried. Thanks Purple!

Original Purple Mattress: About 1 year ago I decided that I needed and new mattress. The pervious mattress I bought dipped in with in 6 months and I was fed up. I wanted something that would last awhile and I am super happy with my Purple. Like most people, I was skeptical with all the hype so I had done a lot of research. Purple is definitely for someone who wants to try something a little different. For the first month I had it, my back hurt and it felt hard to get up but once I was up, I would feel fantastic. It definitely takes some getting use to but after a year I feel better then ever! No more back pain! Sheets: With my purchase of the Purple mattress, I received the purple sheets as a gift. I absolutely love how the sheets feel and how stretchy they are. They are definitely a must with the mattress. The only problem is, is that they rip fairly easy. My first set of sheets had many many holes after the first couple months and since then I bought another set and been extra careful with washing them. Platform: About a month ago, I really needed to get a platform for it since I had been sleeping with the mattress on the floor but found MANY reviews saying the Purple platform base was super squeaky. I took my chances though and decided to try it and it hasn't made one peep. Its just as silent as when it was on the floor. Pillow: For my birthday last year, I received the purple pillow. I absolutely love it! It weighs about 10 pounds and I know it will never go flat. I'll never use another pillow. >3 So overall I am in love with my Purple bedding and the only complaint I have is that the sheets aren't as durable as I would hope and they aren't cheap either. I would definitely recommend buying Purple if you are considering! Much love to the Purple company >3

As a former USA record holder in Women's Olympic Weightlifting now aged 50+, I used to rise each morning with aches and pains earned from my glory days.
