For baseline, I enjoy a softer bed and have owned a traditional dual sided pillow top mattress and then a top of the line sleep number mattress. Once the sleep number bed began to have issues, new air bladder, air pump that leaked, I was on the hunt for a new mattress. After a lot of research online I felt a new purple bed was the right choice for me and my wife. I opted for the Queen/ Purple.3 which seems to be one of Purple's most popular models. Once received and slept on it for a month, we both felt while it is nice, it wasn't great. We didn't find the softness was there as we both expected from all the glowing reviews. Yet I wasn't ready to admit Purple wasn't the right choice. So this is where I think Purple really excels, they want you to try their bed. If you don't like it, return it or donate it for a refund or select another bed. The return process was very easy and support was great. I chose to order the Purple 4 and also decided to move to a King size. When it arrived and we first laid down, we knew we found what we were missing. It is AMAZING and as others have stated, you just want to stay in bed it is so comfortable. We have had the bed for about 8 months now and without fail, every couple of days one of us will say to the other how amazingly comfortable the bed is. I cannot recommend enough for you to give them a chance and see if you have a similar experience. Ok, I do have ONE negative comment about the bed, it is not something you can easily move, even with 2 people. It would be REALLY nice if Purple could figure out a way to put handles on the sides of the mattress. It is not often we plan to move the thing, but if the need ever arises, handles sure would help! Even with the one negative, if there is a more comfortable, cool, supportive mattress out there, I have never come across it. Nor do I care to look as this really is an amazing mattress. After 5 years and 5 beds, we are in love with our Purple. We tried firm (ummm....ouch). We tried memory foam (I melted into the bed and my husband kept falling into the abyss.). We tried Middle ground (Meh). We tried the select your setting bed (Married and can't get in the middle of the bed doesn't work.). I convince my husband to try Purple. Yes, I will take credit for that thank you very much. It was delivered while my mom was house sitting. She sent me a picture saying. Your "mattress" is here. Good luck. Luck, fate, or destiny? I'm not picking sides. I just know that we don't wake up in pain anymore. My husband snores less. We fall asleep faster, and the "middle activities" are comfy too. I do have one complaint. You have ruined our vacations. We hate every other bed we get in. We can't wait to get home back to our Purple.

I have tried many mattresses over my 52 years and being in construction, my back is in bad shape. I could never get a good night sleep until now. It has been a game changer and we like it so much, we bought one for our VRBO just so others could enjoy the sleep like we do. Thanks for saving our backs and to a good night sleep, finally

My 3 year old mattress had a minor defect, and it was replaced after I notified customer service of the issue. I received the latest version and it's as comfortable as the first one. I am heavy at 260 lbs and it's comfortable, but I'm sure one of the upgrades would be much better for a heavy person. I also use it on an adjustable base and it works well

Purple mattress, sheets, pillows were one of the best money worth purchases we have ever made. Very soft sheets, comfortable mattress and pillows. A little on the expensive side but worth every penny. No second thoughts if you are planning to get one. Go for it, you will never be dissapointed.

From day one I have loved this bed. When I first opened the mattress there was a slight chemical smell, but that dissipated quickly and I didn't notice it the first night I slept on it. It's different than sleeping on my old pillow top mattress but no aches or pains when I wake up. Awesome mattress.

I purchased a twin bed mattress for my son's guest room so I could visit my newborn grandson without being crippled by the guest bed. It is now as comfortable as my bed at home, and I was able to stay with my son and his family until family routines evolved and they were comfortable caring for their newborn.

I used to wake up hot and sweaty in the middle of the night and wake up with terrible back pain that didn't exist prior to going to bed. I've owned air, spring, and memory foam beds over the years with varying degrees of firmness and truly nothing compares to The Purple Mattress. It took close to 4 days before I got used to the mattress and even since the very first night of sleeping on it, I have yet to wake up with any stiffness or soreness anywhere. It's month 4 and I couldn't be happier. I actually look forward to going to bed again. I'm primarily a side sleeper with the occasional stomach and back sleeping mixed in and comfort can be found in any position. I find that my body temperature stays surprisingly neutral. When cuddling my significant otter (not a typo) we don't cave into the mattress. It actually retains the shape around you as if you were sleeping solo. I've never found that with any other bed before. Best product, best customer service, period. Can you believe the price too? It sounds too good to be true but it's actually good and true. Pull the trigger, you won't regret it. Plus there's the added satisfaction of rolling the bed out onto your bed frame when it first arrives and watching it rise.

So my wife and I had been trying to find a bed for some time. We had many friends recommend the Purple Bed. So I ordered it and got it in the mail fairly quickly. We had the bed for almost 50 days and we just weren't getting the sleep we needed. I contacted Purple Bed and they scheduled a company to come pick up our Purple Bed and refunded the FULL amount back to us. Even though the bed wasn't for us this company is a great company and do what they say they will do. Thanks Purple Bed.

I would wake up tired and drained every morning no matter what I did with my sleep schedule. Since getting a purple, that has changed drastically! I wake up a little groggy as I expect to instead of waking up and not wanting to get up. Thank you so much, purple!
