This mattress has been the worst purchase decision of my life. My husband and I purchased the mattress during the pillow Kickstarter, and the pillows are almost worse than the mattress! I've been having severe back problems which has resulted in time off work and many visits to the chiropractor. The mattress also runs EXTREMELY hot. Nothing about it has been as advertised and it's all been a complete waste of money. And before I get a reply from Purple, yes, I've reached out regarding the "warranty" and they weren't willing to do a single thing about it. Literally nothing. Because back problems that didn't exist before the mattress don't constitute as a warranty defect. My husband and I have put so much money into buying the mattress, the pillows, and even the mattress protector because we thought that surely we were doing something wrong. All this time I could've spent a fraction of the cost on a Casper or anything else and I probably wouldn't be dealing with the issues I'm having now. At least any other mattress company would take back the product if we didn't like it. But not Purple! I will continue to keep everyone I know from buying this garbage because it's just not worth the pain, both physical and financial.

I'm a side sleeper and have another high end mattress that cost 5 time as much. I often wake up with the arm on the side I'm sleeping on being tingly or numb. I've slept on the purple mattress for a week now and that has happened only once. I hope it's as durable as it is comfortable.

We had a very expensive pillow top mattress for 11 years. The first 10 were amazing. However, once it was finished being comfortable, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Lol. Par for the course, I suppose. Anyway, I'd seen so many creative and funny videos for Purple products online. My kids had me watching any we came across. We purchased Purple pillows first, loved them, bought seat cushions, loved them. Ok. Made the big leap and purchased the mattress, bed frame, protector and sheets! I'm not disappointed. Not one iota. I have a wonky shoulder and a bad lower back (from lifting, pulling and pushing patients for years as an RN). Every part of me that hurt in the morning (from our old mattress) is fine when I wake up now. My husband doesn't have the issues I do (and rarely has much trouble sleeping on any surface) but actually commented on how comfy the Purple pillow (and especially the mattress) is. If you're on the fence about it, buy one! Worth every penny.

I had seen many ads for competitors saying they have more 5star reviews and ratings for their mattress over the expensive Purple mattress. I was a bit hesitant to buy as I was afraid of spending a good bit of money on a Purple and being let down with an ok mattress. After a few weeks I can say we have never gotten better sleep than on the Purple mattress. I feel like I'm on a cloud - it really does cradle my pressure points. The Purple sheets are incredibly soft and move with you well. The mattress protector has not been tested yet! But I look forward to see how it holds up

I saw reviews and collaterals that the purple mattress was soft and that it would let you sink. I purchased the purple mattress and the purple pillow online because of COVID. I was so excited when I ordered it because I have severe back and shoulder pains but when we finally got it, I was disappointed in how firm it is. I had more back and neck pains for more than a week. I'm a combination sleeper and because of how firm it is I can't even sleep on my side because my arms would hurt. I don't know if its because I'm petite and light that's why it feels so firm but whatever the reason is I wish I had tested this in person first. I wanted to return it but its just too much of a hassle to return. Now I'm stuck with an overpriced bed that I can't even enjoy. If you plan on buying this bed be sure to test it in person before buying.

I've tried many mattresses, Casper, Leesa, Dreamcloud...this was the worst. We are both side sleepers. It was like sleeping on a sack of egg foam toppers in a craft store. And customer service is TERRIBLE. Don't accept the free gift. If you don't like the mattress they take the price of the free gift off the top. Then they make you try to figure out your own pickup of the mattress before they will come and get it. Now it's 3 weeks out from that pickup, 2 emails and another payment later and I still haven't heard a peep from them....

After spending countless hours researching every single online direct mattress. My wife and I decided to go with Purple. Honestly the only reason we chose them was their cheesy commercials were the best! On just the first night both my wife and I knew there would be no other mattresses in our house ever again. My wife sleeps on her back is about 135 lbs and 5'6". Loves it. Says if she has back pain during day, she can't wait to go to sleep so she can wake up and pain is gone! I am 6'3" tall and 205 lbs, sleep on sides normally, and it holds me perfectly. It's amazing how it feels hard, soft, firm, floating, all at the same time!

Got my seat cushion yesterday, and let my post man use it for an hour. He loved it! I've been using it everywhere, chair, car, bed! Last night my hip was hurting, so I brought it into bed, and slept on it. First time in months my hip hasn't hurt! Looking at buying a bed now...wow! This is great!

Before making the perches I already had an idea that Purple was going to be the way to go. What did it for me was that after conparing prices with other mattres brands Purple was the best bang for my buck. I am happy with the product and will look to them when trying to upgrade.

So for, we love it. I'm disappointed I now see where y'all are giving things away if you buy mattress. I didn't get anything free. Mattress cover would be nice. My husband just said the other day, I has slept the best on the purple than any other bed we have had. I'm very happy so far. The best sleep we have had in years!!
