My wife loves this mattress, me not so much. If I am in this bed for more than 6 hours, I wake with a very pain filled back. I was told that you need a few months to adjust to the bed and I have given that but it hasn't changed. My wife tries to blame my pillows but I didn't have this problem with my pillow top bed. Now since I am over the 100 days, I cannot return it and even if I could, how can I tell my wife she needs to be less comfortable since, as I said, she loves it. I also have the frame which is quieter than most but does squeak even though it is claimed it doesn't and the mattress slides off it at inopportune times. Since some enjoy and some don't, I would suggest you make sure you try it out for about 2 months and if not happy, return it immediately. I also suggest waiting to by the frame until you are 100% sure you are keeping the mattress since you can't return the frame.

We purchased a twin mattress for our daughter when she's visiting us because she has curvature of the spine and it has helped her get a good night's sleep, as there is no pressure on her spine. Once we realized it worked so well for her nights sleep, we decided to purchase a new queen Purple mattress for ourselves. All I can say is we love it too!

My husband and I spent months researching which mattress to buy. At first I was hesitant about going with a purple because I read a few reviews that mentioned waking up sore and not being a good mattress for side sleepers. I have not had any problems with this mattress, and have actually slept better since we got it than I have in YEARS. My husband used to wake up with a sore back and neck and since we've switched to this new purple mattress all his aches and pains have gone away. I am an "all over the place" sleeper. Sometimes on my back, sometimes on my side, other times on my stomach. This mattress feels great no matter how I sleep on it. For reference, my husband is 6'3, 200 pounds and I am 5'6, 150 pounds. We both love this mattress! I knew I didn't want a full memory foam mattress because I hate that sinking "help I'm stuck and I can't get out" feeling. This mattress is foamy enough that I don't feel him get in and out of bed, but springs back enough that I don't sink into a crevice. BUY THIS BED!

The mattress was quite easy to unroll, though I accidentally cut through the fabric when opening the plastic packaging. There was a strong smell upon opening, but it dissipated after two days of airing out. The sleeping experience is very nice; I have not experienced uncomfortable heat or sweat even on these past few hot nights, and I personally feel like the mattress supports me better than something firmer (though that may just be observational bias). The Purple Pillow is quite short, making it difficult for side sleeping, but I am managing by putting it on top of another pillow to give it extra height.

Love it. It did take a few nights for me to adjust to proper alignment but it still just felt right even on the first night. Husband slept remarkably more comfortably and better from the first night. It does sleep notabley cooler than anything We've tried before. It's really remarkable in that way. Enjoyed sleep on it for a month when we took trip and slept on a Sleep Number bed. We missed the Purple like crazy.

I ordered the queen size mattress and it actually arrived before schedule! Opening the sleeve it came in went smoothly for the most part. The purple razor knife broke about a foot from the end and i had to use my own knife to finish it. It wasn't a big deal but i thought i would mention it. As for the comfort of my bed it's a lot more firm than i had expected. I believe it's firm because of my height and weight. I'm 6'1" and 135 so I'm pretty tall and very light. My weight is just so spread out over a large area that my body just kinda hovers on the surface without really being cradled. If i were to rate the comfort out of ten i would give it a 5. Its not really what i thought it was when i bought it. That being said though, my back definitely feels a lot better than my previous mattress. I no longer wake up with a sharp pain in my lower back and It doesn't hurt when i pick things up. While these are definitely positive aspects of the Purple mattress i just don't really look forward to going to bed at night.

I recommend this mattress, the sink and bounce are great! However, I do wake up sometimes sweaty in the small of my back. I think because this mattress hugs you more closely than a traditional spring mattress. Overall it is really great, would recomend.

I still wake up every morning with pain or numbness in my hip. I thought with time my body would adjust to the new mattress and I would start feeling great. Nope that never happened. I wake up feeling just as awful on the purple mattress as I did with our old worn out mattress. A mattress is such a big investment so it's very disappointing when it ends up being a flop but I have to deal with it since it's past the time of returning it.

Had the purple mattress for about a month now and am very happy with its performance. Most comfortable sleep I've had in a long time. No more achy back in the morning. Be sure to get the stretchy sheets they recommend to allow the mattress to cradle you instead of the sheets. For the price it's a high performance mattress of great quality. I also suggest getting the pillows my neck pain after sleep is no longer there. Highly recommend all of purple's products.

I was talked into this by my son. Purchased a full size mattress, pillows and bed set. The mattress was really heavy but with help it fit perfectly on my custom platform. The mattress had what looked like a coffee stain. Wasn't happy about that but cant imagine getting this thing back into its case fro return. It will be covered anyway. The fitted sheets I ordered were really difficult to put on. Very frustrating, but then again I'm a guy and pretty lame at certain things. First night on the bed was weird. Like sleeping in a hotel room. Second night I tossed all my old pillows and just used the new ones. The bed is pretty comfortable. I would buy it again. I don't like the sheets and pillow cases. the pillow cases don't stay on and as stated before the sheets are difficult to change.
