I recently got into a bad car accident that resulted in a herniated disc and severe back pain. After my accident sleeping was so uncomfortable that I could not stay asleep for more than an hour at a time and in the morning I woke up in more pain than the night before. My husband and I decided to try Purple, and the first night I slept on it I did not sleep well because I was so accustomed to a bed that did not support me. The second night on, I slept through the night and every night since then. My back pain has significantly improved. And my husband loves the mattress, too. He sleeps on his stomach, and his back pain has gone away! We recommend this bed to anyone, even people that may not be looking for a new mattress.

After reviewing mattress for several weeks my wife and I decided to give the Purple mattress a try. We are 4 weeks into the trial run and are very disappointed. I have to say that the mattress is exactly the opposite of all the selling points that Purple advertises. It says it gives at your pressure points but we have found that it is extremely hard on your hips, shoulders, and lower back. We are waking up with pain that we haven't had before. We are trying to give it time as suggested by other reviewers but our patience is starting to wear thin.

The mattress? Great but only if you like sleeping on the floor. I purchased the advertised 'squeak proof steel' bed frame and 1st it was never squeak proof from the first day and not even a year later it's broken so now every time I try to go to bed it's like being in a squeaky rocking boat. Such a waste for what I paid and now only to have to go out and buy another frame. I thought Maybe it was just me but my sister ( who turned me into purple in the first place) had the same problem. DONT BUY!

This mattress is continuously advertised as sleeping cool, what they don't tell you is, its "cool" compared to other FOAM mattresses, which I've never owned. So switching from a conventional mattress I had the surprise of being over heated, with night sweats by my new "cool sleeping" mattress. Just another gimmick and flashy advertising with a solid let down of an over exaggerated marketing department. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a real mattress. These are not ready for prime time. With horrible shipping delays, and even a delay on-top of a delay. Getting a protective cover just a few weeks shy of my 100 days is also a let down. I want to see if it will help cool me off. But why when I want to return the mattress. Now let me tell you about my back pain. I'm 6'2" and 300lbs I sleep on my side and this mattress does very little to support my midsection during sleep. It makes my rib cage hurt on the part that is not even touching the mattress cause of the sinkage! I spent the last two weeks in 2 different hotels and both had better support then this new flashly patented mattress! When I lay on my stomach there is also a lack of support and this hurts my lower back. I have to sleep with pillows in between my legs, and one under my stomach to keep my back from hurting! When I sleep on my back, my butt sinks in to far and makes my lower back hurt. If your a skinny rail, or under 200lbs this mattress may work for you. But if you are a larger stature person look else ware.

My girlfriend recommended this as a bed for my new apartment. I was a bit iffy because it was a brand I haven't heard of, compared to something like Tempurpedic. But I ordered anyways and I'm glad I did. I've never been able to lay on my side and feel complete comfort on my pressure points. That's what this mattress provides. I would order again in a larger size if I could. Thank you for this product.

Felt as though I could bottom out on this very easily. I am 5 10 and 180lbs. I liked the feel of the top grid but did not like the support as my back hurt. Wished you could try the new mattress but I could not use the 100 day trial again so I guess I will never know.

A couple weeks in with our King size Purple and I must say that I look forward to crawling into my new bed at the end of the day! LOVE this mattress!!! So far, money well spent! So darn comfy!!!! I can't wait for my Purple pillows to arrive! Oh and the sheets are divine!

Six years ago we bought a Purple and loved it. We had a house fire and I knew I wanted my Purple back! Purple was great in supplying me with an invoice to provide for insurance purposes, even though our original purchase was 6 years ago. Great mattress and customer service.

I wanted to love this mattress so much, but, I just don't. We've been sleeping on it for one month now and to me it feels like a cheap mattress with an egg crate topper on it. It was sort of firm for the first week, and now feels like soup. So disappointed.

I recently purchased a new bedroom suite and replaced the full sized antique bed I had with a new queen sized. In doing this it was obvious that I would need to purchase a new queen sized mattress. I have had my full sized purple for a year and have rested very well on it. So I thought to myself, ok... I can go buy an extra plush name brand at less than half the price from a big box store. So I did!... Good job right? Saved money, got a nice mattress, life is good! WRONG!!! I purchased the extra plush from the big box, brought it home, set it up, made the bed and waited for nightfall. At 8 p.m. I showered, jumped in my p.j.s and was SUPER excited to go jump in my new bigger cloudlike bed! THUD!!! That is basically that sound and feeling i got from the new mattress. 1 hour and 32 minutes later I had moved myself to the floor of the guestroom where my full size purple was laying in wait to travel to my lakehouse. Once comfortably on it, I logged in ordered a queen purple, went to work the next day and sold the "cloud" for half what I paid for it, and have NEVER looked back or regretted it! NOW, I am happy to say that I can sleep in purple comfort at either of my homes and will remain a purple customer as long as they are selling! THANKS Purple!
