The first night my wife never slept better...over slept her alarm which NEVER happens. I on the other hand never slept worse. I knew they said it could take 30 days to feel better. One week later I was sleeping like a baby and we BOTH love our new Purple mattress.

This is the first time I've ever thrown 'serious' money at a mattress. The ordering and such could not have been easier. Im probably a bit over a month of sleeping on it and I just cant adjust nor can my spouse. Ive tried with the fitted sheet off and on. It's just to firm and my body aches when I wake up. After the holidays I'll be on the lookout for it's replacement unfortunately.

I have arthritis in my hips, shoulders, spine, etc and am in constant pain. Falling asleep is difficult. When first getting into bed the mattress is unforgiving. It applies too much pressure to all of my joints to the point where it hurts and I can't get comfortable. BUT, when I wake up in the morning I have free range of motion and no joint or muscle aches and pains. If I buy again may try the softer version.

Honestly it's just not for me I been having it for me I a bad back thought this would be good for me but its to soft it's not firm enough it's also smaller in a seance the edges of the mattress are rounded out so it makes the mattress feel smaller so me and my partner keep pumping legs and arms at night because it feels like you will fall off the mattress if your to close to the rounded edges. It's also not a big difference it the cool aspect of it heats the same like my old one this mite work for skinny people anyone under 120 pounds I'm 180 I sunk in and it makes my back pain worst

I found this bed to be very comfortable from the first time I lied down on it. I feel like I get a hard spot on the bed but after rolling back then forth again it goes away. It's very cool, easy to sleep on, and I don't have any pressure points coming out red in the morning when I get up anymore. Simply I'm love it!

At first I wasn't sure about the mattress because it feels so different from the way an average mattress feels, but after sleeping on it for a while I've noticed that I never wake up sore or tired. I always feel well rested and my body feels completely fine. With my old mattress I was waking up almost every morning with a terrible pain in my spine and lower back. It almost felt as though someone just hit me in the back with a shovel. I couldn't sleep on my side either or I would have serious hip pain that made mornings bad when they didn't have to be. Not like the purple mattress at all, I really like it. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new.

It started out great for me. For my wife, however, it was just ok. She struggles with a sore back. Now, it's very bad for me, and it's been very bad for my wife. I wake up with a terribly sore back almost every morning. We are beyond our 100 days, so now it's a loss. :(

Mattress was different at first but after a night or two I adjusted. Been sleeping much better than I have in years. Most of my lower back pain is gone. It's a different sensation , almost like I'm laying on nothing , but something at the same time . Always been a hot sleeper and I cant believe how cool the mattress and sheets are! Hoping to try a pillow out soon.

I love the idea of the purple mattress. I wish we'd been able to enjoy this one, but we experienced hip and back soreness within 1 night of sleeping on this and it only got progressively worse, especially for my wife. But I love the customer service which made the whole buying and returning process pleasant. They made us feel like human beings, which is refreshing in this day and age. Also, the sheets are marvelous, and the pillows...HEAVEN. I see no reason to EVER buy another pillow. I have the Tall one, my wife uses the medium pillow. We also enjoy the Ascent Adjustable base. The zero g setting is SO nice. Thank you Purple! -Wes

I was really excited about this mattress at first. It is a cool technology. But when you spread you weight over the whole mattress it is quite firm. I was hoping for something that would let me sink in just a bit more. I do like it enough that I'm going to keep it. You will love it if you want a firm mattress.
