I was a Marine Corps Infantrymen for 8 years. I suffer from herniated discs, nerve damage and insomnia. Simply sleeping in any position on any bed increases my pain. The best relief I'd find was "resting" on the recliner in a sitting position all night. I wouldnt really sleep and was constantly tired. The nights I actually slept in bed I would toss and turn so much that I started effecting my wife's sleep. This in turn made the recliner an EVEN better alternative to my bed. One night I saw that silly Purple commercial and said What the Heck and ordered a king, frame and covers. For the first time since i gave away my sleep and sanity to the Marine Corps i slept 8 HOURS!!!!! I felt like a human again. My attitude improved i felt positive and outgoing... and even if I get in and out of bed the motion didn't transfer to my wife so she sleeps all night too! Purple, I know you make profits and this is a business, but from the bottom of my heart thank you for giving me a little back of what I gave for the country. I thought no one cared for us, but you guys helped us out alot. Semper Fidelis. Keep up the good work

When I'm on my back it is a nice mattress and you can feel the purple mesh and it's nice I guess. My main gripe is that I'm primarily a side sleeper and I find myself rolling around more often trying to find a more comfy position. On the other hand my wife loves and swears by it so, case by case basis I suppose. I'm a believer in value so if it costs the same as other mattresses then go for it but if it's a few hundred more I wouldn't bother

This is the first mattress I have purchased that I am not regretting. After the very first night I slept on the mattress, I woke up without any pain. It was the first time in about 2 years. I have convinced friends to buy this mattress. It really is the best around. I was very skeptical about purchasing this mattress online. I did research into other brands that sell online including Helix, Casper, and Nectar and decided on this mattress. I was especially impressed they were granted a patent on this design. It was well deserved because their design works. I'm still skeptical of the "raw egg test". I haven't tried it personally but I have seen videos posted by regular users. Regardless, this is the first mattress you will experience no pain from waking up.

We bought a king mattress with support frame, mattress protector and sheets, then we had a scheduling issue and called customer support. The lady who answered immediately began to make arrangements for timing a perfect delivery for us. The entire process from decision to sleeping has been just as promised: excellent. My wife and I love the mattress and the way all the supporting elements combine to contribute to relaxing,restful sleep. The frame makes no noise when we move and adds much storage space we didn't have. The stretchy protector and sheets contribute substantially to the action of the mattress when we lay down. Regular cotton sheets veil the comfort and softness of the Purple mattress. The pricing, service, and our sleep experience have made Purple a company we're proud to tell friends and family about.

I definitely don't consider myself a professional mattress reviewer but i give the purple original mattress a resounding 5 stars!!! It's so comfortable!!! I weigh around 155 pounds and sleep mostly on my stomach and side and i have to say this bed provides complete comfort and support in every position. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I would probably never buy another mattress thats not a purple again!!!

After about 6 months the mattress began to sag. It felt like sleeping in a canoe. To roll out of the sag took some effort. Over two years I have moved to about every spot only to have it do the same over time. To their credit they have recently replaced the mattress at no cost. Time will tell if the new one will do the same. Maddie at customer service was very helpful. For what it's worth this mattress replaced a even more expensive Temperpedic which behaved similarly

I've been away for work, so I've missed out on the first 30 of my 100 days. That being said, after sleeping on hotel beds for a month (longer for my better half), the first night of sleep on it was pretty good. I slept well, woke without aches, and was able to spoon and snuggle without feeling smothered and crushes into the mattress. And there was no disrupting sleep when either of us got up. It also passed the intimacy test, with the exception of some squeaking from the purple bedframe (king). So far so good.

I am a side sleeper and often wake up with sore shoulders and sometimes hips. I had a bed-in-the-box memory foam bed that was highly recommended but still had problems. I spent 5 months researching and re-researching all the various online mattresses and it looked like Purple was supposed to be one of the best for side sleepers and finally I thought I would take a chance on it since it was NOT a memory foam bed. I have been sleeping on it for about 3 weeks not and honestly can't say it is much better then the memory foam bed I had before. Still wake up with sore shoulders and knees. I am hoping it will improve but not sure it will.

I recently purchased a new bedroom suite and replaced the full sized antique bed I had with a new queen sized. In doing this it was obvious that I would need to purchase a new queen sized mattress. I have had my full sized purple for a year and have rested very well on it. So I thought to myself, ok... I can go buy an extra plush name brand at less than half the price from a big box store. So I did!... Good job right? Saved money, got a nice mattress, life is good! WRONG!!! I purchased the extra plush from the big box, brought it home, set it up, made the bed and waited for nightfall. At 8 p.m. I showered, jumped in my p.j.s and was SUPER excited to go jump in my new bigger cloudlike bed! THUD!!! That is basically that sound and feeling i got from the new mattress. 1 hour and 32 minutes later I had moved myself to the floor of the guestroom where my full size purple was laying in wait to travel to my lakehouse. Once comfortably on it, I logged in ordered a queen purple, went to work the next day and sold the "cloud" for half what I paid for it, and have NEVER looked back or regretted it! NOW, I am happy to say that I can sleep in purple comfort at either of my homes and will remain a purple customer as long as they are selling! THANKS Purple!

I was so excited to receive my Provo mattress and the first month was great the second month I started noticing my back and neck pain getting worse I went to them and they told me I needed to get stretchy sheets and now they provided a stretchy mattress so I bought both of them and still I couldn't get comfortable I called to return and they told me that I was 11 days over my hundred days. And that they start the time from the day you purchase it I didn't use it until about 20 days after I purchased it and they wouldn't let me return it. The customer service is just as bad as the mattress it seems comfortable AT the beginning but it is hard,HOT, SOILD AS A ROCK! I tried to do exactly what they told me and it didn't work so not only am i into it what I purchase the mattress for but also their special sheets and also the mattress cover. I honestly wasn't watching my hundred day window I was trying to find a mattress that fit me and a company that would work with me and this was not a fit for me mattress or company
