It's a good mattress a lot more comfortable than my previous one. I would reccomend it to anyone seeking a good brand and good price. I personally suffer from lumbar spinal pain. The mattress did assist me with it. I highly reccomend the stretchy sheets. It provides the full comfort of the bed.

I cannot stop recommending the Purple to everyone I care about. I never looked forward to sleep until I slept on this mattress. The kind of quality sleep I get is a dream in itself... like sleeping in the most majestic of clouds. I can feel it being good for my health. A total game changer for my quality of life. Thank you guys, from the bottom of my heart.

We've had our Purple mattress for several weeks and it's every bit as good as your awesome commercials promise. We've tried various mattresses, including memory foam, which we now think of as "bad memory foam." No more waking up in a sweat at 3am. Shoulders don't hurt all day. We got one Purple pillow to test and now we're fighting over it while we wait for the second one to arrive. Thank you, Purple!!

I want to start by saying that I am 30 years old and I suffer from back problems. We decided to purchase the purple mattress in hopes that I would wake up without aches and pains. There were some reviewers that said that the mattress is super soft, I would have to disagree with this though. The mattress is just right! It's not too soft or too hard and provides support in all the right areas. It took about a week for mine and my husbands bodies to get used to the mattress. I am happy to say that neither of us wakes up during the night anymore and we both wake up pain free! On a side note, I used to prefer sleeping on my side because if I slept on my back for too long it would begin to ache. Now I actually prefer to sleep on my back! I am a new graduate student and so the little sleep that I do get is very precious to me. I am so thankful that we bought this mattress and wouldn't change a thing! I do recommend buying the mattress protector from purple, it is stretchy, cool and doesn't sound like your sliding around on plastic.

I have had my Purple Twin XL for about eight months. The fulfillment took a month (21 business days). I was 29 and 160 lbs with about thirty being excess fat. I am now 30 and 175 lb with about 45 being excess fat. I am 5'5" and have very broad shoulders and average hips for a woman. I have been a back sleeper for years with almost no movement during the night, but tend to switch to my side when I'm cold, my lower back is tight, or the bed is uncomfortable. I, also, tend to wake up naturally after 6.6-7.5 hours of good sleep. When the bed is too firm, I tend to sleep for a couple hours on my back, then a couple hours on one side, a couple on the other side, etc., rotating as my hip and shoulder pain wakes me up between deep sleeps. When I first got my Purple, it felt great. I had been sleeping on a 4inch memory foam topper with no mattress for three months so the purple was heavenly. It felt like it really contoured the body and I definitely slept better than I had on the foam topper without a mattress. However, it did not take long before I was sleeping fitfully again. I assumed it was because of my stressful job, then the mono I caught over the winter, and the fact that I was getting older. Now I am older and heavier, but I have a wonderful, less stressful job; I'm always exhausted because I wake up to shift positions four to eight times during the night. After nine hours, I don't want to get out of bed because I'm tired, but my hips are so sore from the bed. I spent the night at a friend's house not long ago and slept perfectly on the pillow top mattress and woke up rested after only six and a half hours. I felt like me again. The Purple is just not soft enough for my taste. I see that Purple has put out new versions of the bed with different thicknesses. Maybe the thicker "all positions" mattress would work better for me. I just don't care to test it right now.

Alot of people asked for reviews of Purple. I can say they are full of promises they can not deliver. I need to return my mattress for the firm option. It is not simple nor easy. In fact I will be without a bed for WEEKS if I chose to exchange it. If I am not happy with that mattress I am not allowed to return it. The only option of communication for the process is email. I get a response 24 hours or later from the time I send my email. The bed lacks support. The quality is poor. Do not waste your time! Purp lo e is NOT recommended by me

I had my mattress for over 6 years, I had one of the original purple mattress. It was good but not as great as it used to be, turns out it had a defect. A few short emails and my mattress was replaced quickly and efficiently. Now sleeping on a 5 star mattress again.

I really wanted to love this mattress. I went interest free through Affirm and had it delivered shortly after check out. Unwrapped it and enjoyed. I loved the support. My wife loved it too but noticed it was hot to sleep on. So we went all in and bought the sheets and mattress protector. Sheets are nice and soft but the mattress stills sleeps hot for my taste. YMMV. Now to the issue we are currently having. Shortly after it was paid off, I noticed a change in the sleep style of the mattress. I come from the old school world of flipping and rotating mattresses. I was concerned that I could not flip this but I was reassured. Anywho, about a year and a half into the product I started getting a rut on my side of the bed. I'm 6'4", 205Lbs. Not small but not crazy big either. Along with the rut came a ridge line down the middle of the bed which has now turned into the most supportive part of the mattress. My wife and I both have ruts now and are pretty much separated by the partition in the middle of the cal king. I have rotated this mattress every two months for the last six months to get the support I need. My wife and I are now waking up in the morning with sore lower backs. That was the sign my last mattress needed to go and prompted the purchase of the Purple. I expected more than 1.5 years of support out of this mattress. I am very disappointed and would not purchase this product again. My wife has emailed the company for product/warranty support and they have not gotten back to us as of yet. We shall see.

We purchased the original purple mattress when my wife was 5 months pregnant. At first we thought it took some getting used to, and it did, but was still not extremely comfortable as we had expected. Fast forward to 9 months pregnant and my wife was miserable in this bed. Being a side sleeper, I am also been unimpressed. This bed is probably okay if you are a back sleeper but is definitely not recommended for pregnant women or side sleepers. My wife is still not satisfied with this bed post-baby. Unfortunately we are now outside of the trial period and can't return it!

My siblings and I decided my parents needed a new bed - one that they can adjust to their varying needs and wishes. After looking at lots of options, we chose Purple. My parents are still thanking us. They are enjoying their bed and are getting much better sleep. Thank you, Purple, for improving my parents quality of life! I'm thinking that perhaps I need a new bed too
