I finally found sleep relief with this bed, I don't have pain in my back, I sleep hard, and I feel refreshed when I wake up. My wife has a bad back and it has been perfect for her. I am really happy with my bed. The only Issue I have with it, the bed likes to slide around the base if you don't have a head and footboard. Easy fix with bending a small piece of metal that stays hidden under the covers. That is my only recommendation to Purple, for those that don't have the head and footboard, perhaps an adaptable piece to keep the bed from moving on the frame. I can't give a mattress company a star less due to that issue. Absolutely love the bed. Being in the military, are there any workings towards that area?

The purple bed is really a super soft bed. I am always finding a hard time getting myself out of bed now in the mornings for work now because i never want to leave its softness. Worth every penny. Only thing im missing now is the purple pillow then my life will be perfect sleepwise.

I knew I'd love it the second I laid down on it, sooo comfortable! I hadn't been able to get cozy on any of my old mattress or sit straight up from laying down in years. It has almost been a year now since we got ours and we. still love it just as much if not more. I decided to buy my mom one as well because she needed a new bed...also convinced my sister to try it out because she had been complaining about her bed. We all love our Purple beds!! Thank you!

I was very excited about receiving our purple mattress. The first night was awful but we expected it to not be great.. The first night of 7/11 however it's now 8/19 and I still do not feel rested because of all of the tossing and turning during the night. I am not sure why, I just can't get comfortable on our new mattress.

I'm actually trying to sell my mattress on the local barter page. We slept on the purple for almost four months. We both started having problems. Specifically the edges of the mattress tend to wear out. My spine started to curve out to the edge of the mattress. I started to see my chiro for adjustments weekly. After a month of no improvement I moved back to our old mattress in the spare room and my back improved in less than a week. Purple wouldn't refund our money but did send another mattress that we don't want. So now I've got two of these mattresses that are useless to me. On top of that the pillow with air cushion is a disaster as well.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I expected this mattress to be so much more than the 20 year old mattress it was replacing, and I guess I'm just a bit underwhelmed. First, I had to get rid of my old king mattress and box spring myself. I think if you buy a mattress at Sleepy's or whatever they take the old mattress with them. Second, this mattress is HEAVY. Like almost unmanageable heavy. I get that it's space age polymer type stuff. But it was a wrestle to get it upstairs and a wrestle to get it laid out on the frame and for as heavy as it is, it seems to move pretty easily when I get out of bed. Plus I had to get a whole new frame (because this doesn't need or want a box spring), and a new bed skirt. Lots of new stuff here, and the difference between what I had and what I have now is not earth shattering. I expected it to be. I can see that if you are coming from a futon or something else with a platform where you don't have to replace the frame it would be easier/better. But to be honest I don't see that much of a difference from the pillow top Simmons mattress we had before this. Not sure what the answer is in terms of shopping for a new mattress. This is one answer, but I had to have 2 people help me get it upstairs. And I had to get a new frame. And I had to get rid of my old mattress myself. All things being equal, I probably could have done just as well with a new mattress from Mattress Firm and they would have taken my old mattress and I could have used my old box spring.

Slept on a Purple Hybrid Premier and noticed the differences from mattress at home and needed replacement. Thinking Purple mattresses were too expensive went shopping for mattresses at local retail store. Prices were very high and realized Purple mattresses were reasonable. Bought regular Purple full mattress for my son along with sheets and protector. Decided to replace my queen with regular Purple along with Harmony pillow, sheet, and protector. There was a delay in shipping no fault with Purple and was compensated with free sheet set. Definitely considering third mattress soon. Great customer service. There is a difference between the Hybrid Premier and the regular Purple mattress. There should be as there is a big price difference. No hot or cold spot when sleeping on the mattress. You will notice the difference from conventional mattress first time you try the Purple. Bought two Harmony and will buy two more. Highly recommended.

PURPLE MAKES ME HAPPY!!! On the reals tho, this mattress was exactly what I was looking for, and the 100 night trial is what sold me on it. Other companies I was looking at only offered 1 week trials that you were only able to return for store credit?! That's ridiculous. 3 months is a great starting point to see if your body works wkth this mattress. Purchasing a mattress is a hard decision, it's a 10 year investment. Luckily the sales rep at the purple store was more than helpful and made me feel confident in my purchase. Thanks purple people!

For years, my husband and I have been searching for the firm bed he prefers, and the soft bed that I gravitate to. Hello, Purple! At first, it feels firmer than a regular mattress, but supportive. My hips would hurt after laying on a rock hard bed, but never at all on the Purple mattress. We are both happy. And to think we replaced a more expensive, name brand memory foam mattress (you know, the one where they drop a bowling ball on one side and the wine glass is undisturbed on the other?) This bed has the support and comfort we have long been searching for. I only recommend allowing the mattress to air out for a few hours before bed, since we detected a "new" scent the first evening.

My first week with Purple I ended up with pneumonia. I'm hacking and coughing. My back had bothered me for a month prior to Purple. Despite back-wrenching coughing, despite a sore back already, my first week (and every week after) have been everything advertised. No back pain. No side pain. Nothing but restful sleep.
