I suspected my spring mattress, which was who knows how many years old, was sagging and decided to go with Purple. After the first night, I woke up and instantly thought, this must be how baby angels sleep. Either because I would ignore it or maybe because I thought it was normal, but I had no idea how much aching my spring mattress was responsible for. By the time I woke up, I was ready to get up and go, unlike with my spring mattress which I had to give a minute to let the aches settle. Temperature is also very well regulated. Much more airy than I expected. (Got the 4th of July special and it came with the Purple sheets, which are great too. They're as soft as they are stretchy. May take some getting used to though) That said, as it turns out, my sagging problem wasn't in the mattress, but the box spring itself. Figured I may as well get the full Purple experience (minus the pillow) and get the Purple platform base for that next. Overall, it's a great buy and I'd recommend to everyone.

Love the bed. Best one I have ever had to sleep on. But the company that you that delivered the mattress didn't use the proper equipment to offload it. They had drag it in the dirt and up to the front door. Doing so cut open the bag and dirty the packing around the mattress. Didn't harm the mattress because of how well you all packaged it. Over then that I'm glad I bought this mattress.

I am very disappointed in the Purple Mattress I Purchased from Denver Mattress. I have a 1 1/2" Indentation in the Mattress & it's not even a year old. I continue to get the run around about how to turn Pictures in so that Denver Mattress can Process my Warranty in Order to get a different Mattress. I've been dealing with them for over 2 months & still can't get anywhere. I took a picture like they ask & now they say that Picture won't work & I have to take 3 more pictures. One of the Whole Mattress, one of the Bed Lift & one of the Indentation. One person tells me one thing & one person tells me something different. When I called to speak to a Manager I was told they were all busy. I'm so upset with the way I've been treated. If your thinking about buying a Purple Mattress I would think again.

I have tried many matresses over the years, Soft Side Water, Std Coil, Coil w/ Memory Foam Top, Std Sleep Number, Sleep Number w/ Cool Gel Memory Foam, Latex and now Purple for the last 3 weeks. The Purple has no pressure points for side sleeping, but has a firm feel to keep you fairly straight. It is like no other mattress I have ever used. So far it is fenominal, it has relieved my low back muscle pain and is begining to relieve my hip discomfort also. I would definitely reccomend trying this mattress, I do not think you will be disapointed if you prefer a firmer mattres w/o any pressure points.

I've owned pillow top, memory foam, the sleep number, etc. Nothing has come close to the Purple mattress. The support is just right and best of all, it keeps me cool!! I also strained my lumbar a few months ago and would wake up with a very stiff back. That is no longer an issue now that I have the Purple. The Purple base is also silent, and nothing like those cheap bed frames that are commonly found elsewhere. I also purchased the sheets and am very happy with them. They help keep me warm and cool at the same time. Definitely a loyal Purple customer now.

With some reviews saying they needed a few nights to adjust to the feel of the bed, and the material, we wondered how our first night would go. Absolutely no problems! My husband has had 3 shoulder surgeries, and has slept with a pillow between his arms to keep his shoulders open for years. On this bed, from the first night, he needs no pillows. The pressure on his shoulders, as he's a side sleeper, cause him no pain. The bed truly does support without discomfort. Not too firm as some reviews said. Its perfect for us!

On the positive side, the purple mattress is cool and it doesn't crater like some memory foam mattresses. On the negative side, at least for side sleepers, is that it is extremely firm. It would be a great mattress for back and stomach sleepers. But side sleepers, beware. There just isn't enough give to it to avoid pressure points. Because I'm a side sleeper, I'm only giving it two stars. If it weren't for the two positives I've mentioned, it would have been only one.

I purchased this mattress for my 92 year old mother-in-law who has rheumatoid arthritis. She loves her new purple mattress!! She told me that she is sleeping better and able to sleep longer!! That is a solid endorsement!!! I will definitely consider purple when I purchase my next mattress!!

I'm 250 pounds and my chief worry was that the Purple would be too soft. No such problem. If anything, the Purple isn't soft enough. While my pressure points DO sink into the gel (excuse me: "hyper-elastic polymer"), it doesn't quite give enough for me. I will say that my back pain is less with the Purple, but not gone. And this mattress is not "temperature neutral" or "sleeps cool". It's cold. As in "suck the life out of you" cold. The gel is a giant, full-length heat sink. Our house is 70 degrees and when you get into bed, you are lying on a 70 degree heat sink that you sink into slightly. After a few really difficult nights, I dug out an old electric blanket that we hadn't used in years and put that on the bed. I run the electric blanket for about an hour before going to bed and the mattress is MUCH more comfortable to sleep on. After 30 days on Purple, I'm still not decided as to whether I will keep it or not.

The bed is fantastic the only small complaint I have is that the date of delivery changed a bunch of times including once on the day it was actually supposed to be delivered, it's hard to have someone at the house during a work day to get the bed inside and having no clue when the bed will be getting there compounds that.
