The Purple Mattress is the best mattress we've ever purchased. I used to toss and turn all night trying to get comfortable. I used to wake up several times a night trying to get comfortable because my back or my hip hurt. Since night number one with the Purple Mattress, I have slept through the night. Every morning I wake up at 7 am and am AMAZED that I didn't wake up at all during the night. I feel like I have had sound, good quality sleep. Prior to the Purple, I also suffered from severe sciatic pain and within a few days of sleeping on the Purple Mattress, my sciatic pain completely disappeared. The only downside to the Purple Mattress is that you can't take it with you when you travel. My kids love it. It calms them and they fall asleep easily on it so now we're considering getting them Purple Mattresses too.

My husband passed away a year ago, after being very ill for 8 months. During those months I slept on a cot or an ottoman so I could be right beside him and help at any second. So my back was a mess. Then when I went back to my old bed I still didn't sleep peacefully. The first night on my purple mattress, I slept like a hibernating baby bear. Every night I sleep on it brings more healing to my back and hips and joints. So much cheaper and way more pleasant than a chiropractor. This is our 2nd purple mattress, our 2nd avoidance of a chiropractor, and I will soon be ordering a 3rd. Frame, mattress protector, frame, sheets. I have nothing but highest praises for all.

This is the best mattress ever. I've had issues with neck pain and back soreness for years. First night with the purple mattress and purple pillow and my neck pain and back soreness was gone. The bed and pillow were so great we order another bed and pillows for all our kids.

Honestly, this is the best that I've ever slept in. I do not have any back pain I do not have any hip pain I do not have any joint pain sleeping on his bed. Having recently traveled Out of country and spend a week there, I was worried about sleeping because I knew the bed in the hotel would not match the comfort level of my bed at home.

We have a king Purple mattress that we purchased 4 years ago. Love it! Our daughter has developed back pain that she now see a Chiropractor for relief. We just purchased her a Queen Purple mattress, we see improvements were done. She loves it, and so does her back.

As the title states, it really is very sad that I am writing this review. I am 31 years old and I bought my Purple hybrid 2" mattress (I think it was called a Purple .2 back then) about 2 years ago. For the first year/year and a half, it was the best bed I ever slept on. I loved it. I consistently got great sleep, was very comfortable, and had no back pain. However, in the last 6 months, the bed has gotten quite a bit firmer and I wake up pretty consistently with back pain. I did a lot of research before I ended up purchasing a Purple mattress, and again, loved it at the start. However, 2 years in, I will have to look elsewhere for a mattress that will suit my needs.

My wife and I recently purchased a purple mattress! We in love with it the first night. We have been using it for a month now and we are liking it even more. Whatever they said in the comercial video is really true ! Thanks purple for the new wonderful sleeping experience, We highly recommend this mattress to everyone! Way to go PURPLE and thank you !!

We love our purple mattress (original). We bought a second for our vacation home. We've had our first for over a year and still find it comfortable and breathable. I didn't have significant back problems before, but occasionally I had aches and they are not exacerbated by this mattress (they're often due to workouts). Having the same mattress at both homes means no adjusting to a different mattress and so much cooler than memory foam!

This is the second Purple mattress that my wife and I have bought. The first one is more of the purple material as opposed to this one that has more memory foam on top. Our first mattress is absolutely amazing, it's nice and cool and feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. This one you can tell there's memory foam and it doesn't cool you off nearly as much as the older one; I don't wake up feeling as refreshed with this one as I do with the older mattress. That is why I give this a 3.

I have severe trochanteric bursitis that had me on a roho prodigy. We bought the purple in hopes that it would be enough pressure relief that I could sleep on a real bed with my husband again but nope. I'm 175, 5' 11" and I definitely was bottoming out on the buckling column gel layer. So at the moment I'm on my roho on top of the purple because we didn't have another bed to go to, we didn't return. I truly wish we did because I'd be willing to try the new 4. I don't even care that it's a lot more money, but I'm really irritated that it came out more than 100 days after we got ours. Moral of the story is that the original purple will not give true pressure relief especially in the hip area. If you need medical grade relief do not buy the original.
