I was surprised excited to get this mattress. Their marketing team is one of the best. When I first got the mattress I was really impressed. It was fun to push in the mattress with your hand and watch how quickly it responded. However after using it for a few weeks I swear it felt firmer and firmer. To the point where my arms would go numb from sleeping on it. I would wake up 2-3 times a night to adjust. I was expecting it to have more give. However it really only seems to give to smaller pressure points and not all of them. Hence why the eggs don't break. I have a feeling that it wouldn't pass that test if they used larger eggs. I don't think the necessary sized egg exists.. ostrich eggs?? But none the less I felt down. I did like the fact that is slept cooler.. but honestly that was the only thing I liked. It also wasn't dramatically cooler. So if you really like a firm mattress with a little bit of unique give and one that sleeps a little bit cooler than normal this may actually be good for you. However I can't recommend this mattress at all. I fall asleep on my side and wake up on my stomach and it did me no favors. I think perhaps it may be best for back sleepers.

So far loving the bed, pillow, sheets, and mattress protector. Keeps me cool at night and my back doesn't hurt when laying down on it. The pillows were awkward at first sleeping on them but I've gotten use to them and they are actually really comfy. I love the fact they are heavy and I can't move them when sleeping like i always did with my other pillow. I have 3 kids who join me and my fiancé every now and then and we can all fit comfortably on the king size mattress.

My wife and I were shopping for a new mattress and after being burned too many times by traditional mattress stores we knew we wanted to try an internet mattress. After doing our research I fell in love with the Purple design and convinced my wife this was the one we should try... After an honest wait of 3.5 weeks for our king size purple mattress, sheets, and mattress protector, I must admit the first night was a disaster. Both my wife and I tossed and turned all night, we were hot/cold, and overall when we woke up both of us agreed it wasn't for us. My wife convinced me that we should give it two weeks to see if we would adjust. We are at the 3-week mark now and we both agree that we are sleeping better now then we ever did. The sheets are the real MVP of the package though, I have never felt anything so soft on a bed. Even so much so we already ordered a second set. While the mattress does take a serious adjustment period, if you see it though, there's no doubt you settle into deep sleeps night after night. The reason for the "4-star" review, is the mattress protector. I am sorry to say this just wasn't for us. We wanted to love the whole package all together, and if we just bought the mattress and the sheets, this would have been a Grand Slam. When you throw the mattress protector in the mix, the package turns into just a two-run homer. The protector is a little odd, just enough wind breaker material to convince you there's a liquid barrier but a very weird feeling when paired with those wonderful sheets. Bottom line is we brag about our Purple mattress every chance we get ~ weddings/parties/at work. In a short 3-weeks, it has changed the way I sleep. The sheets are second to none, even if you aren't looking for a mattress, if you want to get an idea of what kind of company Purple is, order the sheets. I will continue to recommend the Purple to any and all who speak with me about it.

We've had the mattress since the end of May,2020. Both my husband and I sleep very restful on the mattress. Can't feel him get in or out of bed. No more back pain when I wake up. All pressure is gone. This was as of day one for me. My husband took a couple weeks to adjust to the mattress. Love it and very happy we decided to get a purple mattress!

Restless nights, borderline chronic back pain, tired and fatigued all the time became the norm ... amplified by having a toddler around. We'd debated getting Purple for a while, but after nearly 3 weeks of having an achy back and stiff neck, we thought we'd give it a shot. It has quickly become one of the best investments we've made. The mattress is comfortable but supportive and after two days my back felt infinitely better. Three weeks in and the stiff neck is gone! Even if we have to get up a couple times a night we feel much more rested in the morning. Our little kiddo is fascinated by the purple squishy that came with the mattress too. Yay science! The only area I am unsure of is if it is actually 'cooler' than other mattresses. I overheat easily at night and so far the difference in that department has been marginal. Still ... 5 stars!

Have had some medical issues causing muscle pain and even on my worst pain days I still felt restful. It took a little getting use to but overall comfortable and love the look. My husbands chronic shoulder pain never allowed him to sleep on his side and he now can!

This mattress is from the Gods. We have one and love it. We decided to buy one for my parents. They are always complaining about a horrible night sleep and aches and pains. Needless to say, they LOVE it. No pain. No aches. Restful sleep. No complaining!

My husband has had bad sleep patterns for over 20 years. He has never been satisfied with a mattress before. We bought an expensive high end mattress and by 6 month he was complaining it was killing him. I bought the purple as a surprise and he is completely thrilled. It has been several months now and his only "complaint" is that he sleeps so well its hard to wake up. Thank you Purple!

I have degenerative disk disease and went through three mattresses before landing on the Purple. This mattress is the only one that has given me relief- and complete relief! It did take about a month for my body to adjust to it, so do be patient! My husband loves it too. We immediately noticed deeper sleep from night one. I now dread ever having to spend a night away from our purple. Love, love everything about this mattress!

I've only slept two nights on the mattress and it's taking a little getting used to. I've slept on a poor mattress most my life and I'm probably used to it. The base is surprisingly strong and the sheets feel amazing. I can't wait to spend more time with my mattress and get used to it.
