We have had our Purple mattress for about 6 weeks now. We love it so much Salvation Army came today to pick up our old mattress that we were hanging on to until we were sure about the Purple mattress. It is incredibly comfortable for us. Forms to your body in all the right places and provides great support. One of my biggest worries with getting this type of mattress was that it would sleep hot. I am a hot sleeper and don't like to be hot. The Purple mattress so far has not been hot all. My wife and I highly recommend this mattress!!!

Been sleeping on a Purple mattress for 3 weeks now -- it has been wonderful! Cradles your body without being too firm or too soft. Very easy to move and get in to the room while packaged. Sleeps cool and has the right amount of give. Highly recommended!!!

The only thing I would change is the policy regarding receiving a defective mattress. I sleep up in a loft so it was no easy task to get a heavy, rolled-up king-sized mattress up there so I can't even imagine how difficult it will be to take it down since it's unrolled now. I noticed that a part of my mattress was deformed so I sent pictures (as proof) and an e-mail to customer service. The customer service was very helpful but only offered one option: send a new mattress. There were no other options so I had another mattress sent which I will now have to wait to use until we move into our home (about 1 year from now). I would have MUCH rather had a full or even partial refund so I could keep the slightly deformed mattress and just buy a new one when the time comes instead of having to store and extra king-sized mattress in my home until it can be used. Other than that, I am liking my Purple mattress!

We've been married for 20 years, and have tried everything else: traditional beds, spring beds with foam hand stuffed in every coil, memory foam, space/astronaut beds, sleep number systems, futons, mats on the floor, and more that I can't even remember. With everything else, either we both hated the bed (e.g., the sleep number bed), or one us loved and the other hated it (like the foam stuffed coils he loved and the memory foam I loved.) The entire time we've been married, the couch has been a backup bed for whenever one of us has a sleepless night because we just can't get comfortable. For the first time in 20 years, we both love to curl up and go to sleep. We don't wake each other up tossing and turning. And we both sleep incredibly well. Hoo-rah!

I've been eyeing Purple mattresses for years but never got around to buying one. So when I moved and purchased a new bedroom set, I figured it would be time to try it out. I've suffered from back pain for years. On top of that, due to a desk job where I use my mouse to design all day, my neck and shoulder hurt as well... after a few weeks of sleeping in my Purple mattress with matching pillow, the pain is gone. No more tossing and turning all night. No more pain. Just lovely restful sleep.

Full disclosure, this review is NOT regarding my Purple Mattress, but requires a bit of backstory regarding it to get to the Sheets. My partner and I ordered a Purple Mattress over a year ago because the spring mattress I had was just not cutting it (rock hard, lumpy, and all-in-all just not comfortable). Once our Purple arrived, we - for the first time ever - were actively looking forward to getting into bed. I maintain that the Purple Mattress is the only reason I'm able to get up as early as I do in the morning - I sleep so much more deeply than before. HOWEVER, my partner and I definitely noticed a difference in our quality of sleep on the Purple Mattress when sleeping on the old cotton sheets and, during laundry day, when sleeping on the bare mattress. On the sheets I'd wake up once or twice a night, but on the bare mattress I'd sleep straight to my alarm. We also agree we felt "cradled" on the bare mattress and "hammocking" on the cotton sheets, which is what you'd expect - the cotton sheets don't let the cells of the Purple Mattress compress and form around your body because they don't stretch. So, after a year of dealing with that, we finally bit the bullet and bought some Purple Sheets. I can say, without a doubt, that the Sheets do not inhibit the performance of the Mattress at all - they work completely as advertised and really reinforce the notion that the Sheets+Mattress are a system that works best together. Our bodies fall straight to the Mattress to let it do the work. They also feel divine and the color (Slate) is deep and rich. They're also much denser, so you don't waste as much water washing them because they occupy less space in the washer/dryer. However, it's not all sunshine and lollipops, otherwise I'd have left a 5-star review! I'm not a fan of the top sheet - I'm used to my non-fitted sheet draping over the sides of the bed, and this sheet only reaches to the edge but without hanging over it. I'd have thought I was given the wrong size if it wasn't clearly listed as a Queen on the tag. The jury's still out on whether I'll use my cotton sheet instead because of this. Also, and this is kind of nitpicky, but I was not a fan of the packaging the sheets came in. A tri-fold, laminated, cardboard box with embedded magnets is NOT required for shipping a set of sheets, especially when the sheets themselves are in a drawstring bag INSIDE of that box! I expected a little more efficiency from a company who shipped my mattress vacuum-sealed and rolled up tightly and efficiently in a duffel bag.

I like it a lot but it is firmer than I expected. I was getting bbused to it but my wife was still having s harder time with it. I ended up putting on a 2" mattress topper and now it's much better. I went from a queen sleep number bed that I did like but it was old and we wanted a king size bed. Couldn't believe how expensive the sleep numbers were now so we took a chance on Purple and glad we did.

Sustaining many injuries and having shoulder surgery years of discomfort. This mattress and purple pillow the latest model first time in a very long time I have whole nights of solid sleep. I'd recommend to anyone who is serious about there comfort and sleep quality.

My wife showed me the fancy video with the raw eggs and said "we should get one!" i was like its fake and it s gimmick there is no way it feels any different from any other mattress. At the time we were using a Memory Foam mattress and i was getting terrible back pain, because of the back pain it caused knee pain. I'm 20 years old and very active so i knew it had to be my mattress. I looked up reviews for Purple after my wife showed me the video and they all had great things to say about Purple. I finally ordered one and i accidentally put the wrong address in and i quickly sent an email over to the support team at Purple and they quickly fixed the error for me. When i received the Mattress and set it up i laid down on it and I DID NOT want to get up it was amazing and my wife didn't want to either. My first night on the Mattress i was super sore it really showed how bad my old mattress was, but after 3-4 days my back pain and knee pain were gone. I then got a challenge email from purple saying try sleeping on another mattress after 30 days of using the Purple mattress, i did and i slept on spring mattress...WOW that was awful i woke 3-4 times and tossed and turned. I never wake up or toss and turn while sleeping on my Purple mattress, I have tested Back,belly and side sleeping and all positions feel great ! Now the only Con to this Mattress is i dont want to get up in the morning i just wanna stay in bed all day because its so comfortable! Just Buy it !!! its awesome!

I bout the original purple mattress 3 years ago. It had some issues and I had to do a claim for warranty. That proses went smoothly. But the new mattress the has sense replace the original purple is much thinner and very stiff. I wasn't very happy with that. So now my only option is to spend more money on either a better purple mattress " 2,3,4 " or pick a new manufacture all around. It's kind of disappointing
