I bought this mattress because my husband complained of back pain due to arthritis and sleepless nights, he is 78 yrs old. Not once since the first night has he complained of either one. He sleeps like a baby and wakes with more energy than I. I only wish the Ca. King had been available then. When it comes time to replace my Queen you can be sure it will be a Purple. Thanks Purple, such a wonderful nights sleep without all the big expense.. Can't wait for the pillows.

My husband and I love our purple mattress. We both use to wake up feeling crippled but now the aches and pains are gone. The purple material is totally unique and superior to any other bed out there. I was so excited to get my new purple2 mattress. I read reviews they were great. Then it arrived. It just wasn't that comfortable but my husband and I decided to listen to Purple's advice and give it a month or so. We did but it was never great like promised. It got a little better but after three months are so it started getting less and less comfortable. We are now to the point where we both feel like we are crippled every morning. Unfortunately we will have to live with it until we save the money to buy something better. Buyer beware. The purple is no better than a cheap foam mattress.

this is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I sleep better, I wake rested, I dream happier. I recommend this bed whenever I get a chance. I've never promoted anything before, never have been so happy that I have the impulse to. This is the best expensive buy I have ever made. I absolutely don't regret it. Can't wait to upgrade to a King Purple 4 one day. I have the original purple so I'm excited to try out the purple4 one day >3

Overall, we are very happy with our purchase! When the suggestions say to sleep on it for about 30 days before deciding anything, they were very right! This mattress is very different from anything else we've ever tried. Pain is less in the morning, but we still use a memory foam topper. It kind of makes it feel like the next step up in Purple mattresses with the topper. Overall, we are satisfied with our mattress!

I purchased a Queen size Purple mattress, when it arrived there was a large dip/crease across the entire width of the mattress that was at least 3" deep. It was deformed and not useable. It was also almost 4" shorter in width and length than dimensions that are listed online, which meant the mattress didn't fit my bed frame properly. I called customer service and whey were very polite and said they'd rush me a new mattress as a replacement and take the defective one away. This time the replacement mattress was delivered late and didn't arrive on the day it was supposed to. To make matters worse, after opening it up I found a 3" dip/crease in the top corner of the mattress; and this one was also 3+ inches smaller in length & width than it's supposed to be. In both cases, each mattress had some deformity where there was essentially a large 'pothole' leaving the mattress not useable and each mattes was smaller than it should be. While the mattress is very comfortable, I can't accept paying $1K+ for a mattress with defects, and Purple's quality control is seriously dropping the ball here. And whats the deal with the mattress being smaller than they should be? I called customer service again and told them about my issues with my replacement mattress and asked that a manager/supervisor should call me back and do something about the issues I've been having and the inconvenience they have caused, but I never heard back from anyone at Purple. I really wanted to like/support this mattress and company, and while it seems comfortable, they have dropped the ball too many times and I no longer trust their quality being that they cant even send me a mattress w/o defects, nor did a manager care enough to follow up on my request. I will be sending back this mattress and try a Tuft & Needle or one of the other products out there. Purple, you really need to step up your game! P.S. The Purple seat cushion is not worth it either, as I have 2 of them and they're very uncomfortable and way too 'squishy' for a comfortable seating posture.

As funny and irreverent as the Purple commercials are, they are honest. The mattress' ability to relieve pressure on pressure points is impressive and my sleep quality has drastically improved. I didn't do the egg test but I can tell you that it's not necessary. I have worn fully loaded tool belts on my hip and laid down on this mattress and once my weight settled in, I couldn't feel the belt or large tools digging into my thigh and hips. It removed all pressure. BUY THIS BED! Besides, their ads are way more entertaining than all the new copycats. Purple for life, 10 out of five stars.

I bought 1 6 years ago. Bought 2 more last week, I figure my child and inlaws and or guests deserve it as well. Thanks you purple for making a mattress that doesn't suck like every mattress I've ever owned. Now I don't ever really have to think about my bed anymore as a problem. It's truly a place to sleep.

We have been sleeping on our purple king size mattress for about a month now. My wife is experiencing adjustments to her body alignment, which was expected. Her lower back pain is slowly going away. She has been tossing, turning and waking up in the middle of the night, but strongly believes that eventually that will go away once she is use to the mattress. Both of us feel like we are sleeping at zero gravity. The mattress is completely different than our previous one and it will take some time to get use to it. Thus far, we are pretty pleased with the purple mattress.

I use to suffer with a lot of lower back pain...I'm in retail so spend about 10 hours on my feet about 4-5 days a week...Always came home after a day of work complaining with back pain even at time waking up in the middle of the night,literally tearing cuz the pain was unbearable...Had MRI's and X-Ray's done, but showed the usuall...degenerating disk...but what to do take pain killers for that...NO WAY! Suffered for bout 3-4 like that progressively worsening...I thought it was me only, but than my poor wife starting feeling the same way...defiently the bed so changed it to Purple...Let me tell you it was the best decision ever made...my wife and I absolutely love it...no back pain, and feel refreshed getting out of bed...One draw back though about the bed, I DONT FEE LIKE GETTING OUT OF IT...Absolutey LOVE it!
