After researching mattresses I thought I felt confident in my purple mattress. I got it in a timely matter and it was fairly easy to set up. My husband has been away for the last year due to military duties and I decided to treat myself to a new mattress while he was gone. I kept giving time for my back to get used to it, it never quite did. My husband has returned and is so uncomfortable and I feel so bad getting the classic purple and him coming home to another uncomfortable bed. Should have upgraded and now we are both stuck in fairly new, uncomfortable bed and are back to researching other companies.

I have had my Purple mattress about 30 days and since night 1 have known it wasn't leaving my house. I was always skeptical that foam mattresses would be hot, uncomfortable lumps but this mattress is anything but. It supports and stays cool. I work a very physical job. Sleep and recovery are important for me. Purple mattresses do the dang thing.

My Wife and I have experienced back and neck pain despite spending a significant amount of money on our previous mattress. Since purchasing the Purple Mattress we both have seen a dramatic decrease in back and neck pain and have sustained sleep throughout the night. We both highly recommend this mattress to those seeking an alternative and solution to back and neck pain.

I have slept on many mattresses in my lifetime and this one won with flying colors one, this is the one. After leaving the Army I've had trouble waking up exhausted or never staying fully asleep. After sleeping on my purple mattress, I, now, get full sleep! I wake up limber as can be and ready to tackle on the day. I will say so, being so comfortable, I tend to sneak an extra 15 minutes before getting up lol. My girlfriend truly loves this and she's slept on many memory foam mattress but not one like this. She has bad back and hip problems in which her previous mattresses have done nothing for her, until now. She told me she was skeptical on this mattress but after a week she loved it. She wakes up refreshed, no back or hip problems when she wakes up. Like me, she stays fully asleep throughout the night, in which, I can vouch for. (Waking up to use the bathroom, I hear her snoring louder than our dog lol)

When I purchased from purple I went all out getting the mattress mattress topper power base and pillow all of them are wonderful products. Its just extremely unfortunate that they have teamed up with a terrible shipping company like Old Dominian as THEIR customer service is terrible. The everything other than the power base came on time from another shipper but the power base came through Old Dominian and let me tell you thats the one thing the absolutely shouldn't have been in charge of the product was late I had to call several times to make sure it was on its way they said they called me when the driver arrived but I got no such call even though I took the time and wasted a whole day of vacation time to wait for the package. When they finally arrived it was 9:30 pm which meant I wasted a whole day of vacation for no reason and then the drive was very unprofessional cursing and throwing the product around and didn't even have the decency to help me carry it up the stairs of which through lots and LOTS of struggling I finally managed to get it into my apartment by myself. If it hadn't been for Old Dominian I would have given five stars for sure said they exist.

The bed is great, and my back feels much better. However, my pillow did NOT work with the bed, and my neck was at a weird angle for the first few nights. Doubling up has helped, but I think I'm going to need to get the Purple Pillow... I don't necessarily blame the mattress for my neck problems, but it was frustrating having the rest of my body feeling great and my neck in pain.

My wife was allergic to this mattress so we had to return it. The mattress was comfortable, but not a game changer, although I wish we could have kept it. BEWARE OF RETURN POLICY. Unless you have a charity that will take it, and I contacted many that would not, the return process can be painful. My experience is that I am 3 weeks into the return process and do not have money credited back to my account, but remain hopeful.

For the last couple years my wife n I have not been able to sleep in our bed for more then 6 hours without waking up crippled and all sorts of back issues..Since we bought our purple everything has changed, I love sleeping again and back to being able to just lay in bed for as long as we want and not having any back issues..I wake up feeling like good again and refreshed again..I give the purple( the first purple) 5 stars and would definitely recommend this bed to anyone who wants to have a good and comfortable sleep.

I finally was able to set my bed up. Its not as easy as it claims to be. However I do like the split king power base. It took me a little over a week to get used to it. I don't like the pillows they are to heavy. I readjust myself throughout the night and the weight bothers me. I bought the mattress protectors and they are way to big for the mattresses (two twin xl). I think it would fit a full size mattress or even a queen. Overall I wasn't happy with shipping, set up, or pillow weight. I do like the mattress, but feel like I could have went to a mattress store ordered something from there and had them set it up and be more satisfied.

I think the purple mattress is well made and so far I like it but its only been two weeks.The platform is great and easy to assemble. I did not care for the sheets because i prefer cotton sheets. I did not like the mattress cover because it felt like a plastic shower curtain.
