My husband and I found the mattresses to firm. I felt like I was just laying on top and didn't sink into the mattress at all. My husband sleeps in his side and felt like his shoulders were sore after sleeping because the mattress wasn't giving away enough. I am 120 lbs and my husband is 170 so we may just have been to small to compress the mattress. We felt they were very high quality and the kids loved jumping on them, be we had to return them.

THE BOUNCE! I want you to read that first and foremost cause its what I loved when I first threw myself onto this amazing bed. The elastic bounce of the purple material is magical. It listens to your body when you flop into it, and doesn't give you a sinking feel. Its like you are just resting on top of this happy bouncy thing! I have friends crash after parties all the time and they've all loved it! If you don't like this mattress then either you're too cheep or you should see a chiropractor because it's not this mattresses fault!

I like the mattress..it makes it easy to sleep all night. The only issue was it was delivered to the apartment rental office. I had to move it three blocks to my home even though I left FedEx instructions to deliver to my home. I am a disabled veteran so this was very hard.

Sleeping on my purple has been truly amazing. I don't toss and turn nearly as much. No back aches at all. My wife who was skeptical at first is now a believer. I moved my memorey foam matress up stairs. Maybe it will recover from amniesia up there. Thanks Purple

Before buying the purple mattress I was waking up every morning needing to stretch for 15 minutes just to be able function in my daily activities. I would wake up multiple times a night (I'm a side sleeper) with one or both arms numb. I have always been a toss and turner in my sleep as well. My husband would wake up with stiff and painful hips. We are 30 and 33 years old!! Once we received the Purple Mattress my numb arms and tossing and turning are gone!! I no longer have to stretch the moment I get out of bed! My husband sleeps much better and is no longer sore in the morning! My only regret is I wish we would have made the plunge and bought the mattress sooner!

I love the bed, it's so much more comfortable than my last bed, I have such a hard time getting out of bed because it's so comfortable, only negative thing I have so far was the shipping could be a little better, I opened my frame and none of the hardware was on the card, had to fish through the box to find pieces, but not really a huge deal I give the bed a 5/5 for comfiness

We ordered the queen sized mattress. Going from a King to a queen sounds good in theory to save a little bit of money but if I could go back I would definitely order the King size. The first night on the Purple mattress was great for me because I woke up with no pain in my hips. For my husband who has a back fusion had the worst night of sleep of his life. We previously had a pretty soft mattress so moving to this more firm mattress seemed to be a shock to his body. It also took me a while to realize that I needed a fuller pillow. I usually prefer one that is pretty flat but with this mattress, a full one really does the trick. I am a side and back sleeper. Overall my sleep has improved because of the fact that I don't have pressure point pain any longer. My husband has good and bad nights. I would still recommend the Purple mattress to anyone who wakes up with pain.

I want to thank you for some of the best nights of my life! I have Cronic back pain. And for the past 26years I have woken up in the middle of the night in pain. That was until my husband surprise me with the Purple for Christmas. The second night I used it my back pain had greatly diminished. It has been 2 months and ...zzzzzzzzzzz

The Purple Mattress was not what we expected. We had great service from Purple thru the entire experience (including returning it for a full refund during the 100 night trial), but the Purple Mattress wasn't everything they said it was. We even went to the showroom in Alpine to try it out before our purchase. My husband is a side sleeper and continually woke up with shoulder pain on this mattress. I'm a stomach sleeper and felt like I was in a hole and didn't rest well. We really tried to give this mattress a chance and slept on it for weeks, but it was very different than any other mattress we'd tried. They have excellent advertising and excellent customer service, but the product wasn't a fit for us (unfortunately). I just like my bed to feel a bit like a mattress and be a place where I can prop up on my elbow without totally sinking in. ;) We ended up with a Tuft & Needle Mattress.

I hadn't bought a new mattress in 10 years so I spent countless hours researching and debating and finally pulled the trigger. The second I set it up, my dog claimed his space. That night I went to bed and slept like I've never slept before. In fact I slept for 14 hours. Only downfall is it's ruining my social life since all I wanna do every night is crawl into bed.
