When sleeping on my side, I feel like I melt into the bed. Unfortunately however, most of my time is spent sleeping on my stomach and this mattress is a bit too soft for that as it hurts my lower back. Additionally, it can get quite warm. Will continue to give it a try and then make final determination prior to my 100 night trial expiration.

I have slept on a waterbed since 1980 and have been very comfortable. My wife on the other hand has had back and hip trouble for the last 5-6 years. We got the Purple mattress and the very first night she slept well with no hip or back pain. I myself love the way that the mattress is firm but conforms to your hips and shoulders. We have been sleeping on it for about 40 nights now and I for one love it. I do notice that once you have warmed up the spot where you are laying it takes a while to cool off. Other than that it has work out great for my wife and I.

So I am a person who constantly moves in her sleep and suffers from back pain. Purple was an affordable and amazing buy. I haven't had any back pain and I have been sleeping like a baby. For the price that I got my purple mattress I would have to say it was worth every cent. If you don't believe try it for yourself.

After getting used to the smell and strange feeling, I fell in love. I had some of the best, most pain-free sleep of my life! Until I didn't... about ten days past the 100-day trial I noticed that that magical feeling went away. The lower back pain I constantly had that had gone away for a few months started to return. It's like they literally put the trial period at 100 days because they knew the mattress would start losing its spring that soon afterward. DON'T BUY IT!! WASTE OF MONEY!! Pay 1/4 the price and buy a Tuft and Needle mattress that works just as well and doesn't feel weird to sleep on!

After trying other memory foam mattresses that were too hard and too hot, we found Purple to be a great mattress. Purple sleeps very well for side sleepers like my wife and I as the mattress is comfortable, and definitely not too hard. Unlike other memory foam mattresses we tried, Purple does not have the temperature fluctuations we have experienced in the past, especially getting too hot.

Great Mattress. Extremely comfortable. I am generally used to a firm mattress, and probably get mattresses around 7-8 in hardness. This I would rate at a 5-6 range. However I am getting really good sleep on it over this entire past month. Only issue is that you cannot sit at the edge of the bed as it gets squished down all the way to the bedframe edge which is not ideal. Would love to see how this mattress holds over the next couple of years.

I did a lot of research on beds before this purchase & the 100 day return policy certainly helped. To my delight this mattress has been fantastic. Besides being very comfortable I love that my husband can move, turn, shift, whatever & I don't feel his moving, at all....but. the biggest factor is that I haven't had a backache or stiff neck since sleeping on the purple.

Definitely a departure from the traditional mattress. I spent a lot of time researching the different models and decided on the original purple due to my weight, size and style of sleep. I've had the mattress almost a month now and the jury is still out. For back sleeping, it is certainly ideal, cool and comfortable. On the occasion I side sleep, I'm not getting the comfort on my shoulders (I may not weigh enough to adequately compress the top layer for proper support. At present, I have all intentions on keeping the Purple as it does seem to be a comfortable, cool, motion free bed. I would highly recommend the Purple line of mattresses to anyone looking to replace or update their current traditional mattress.

honestly i wanted to love this bed more than i have and it took longer to receive then expected but i do enjoy the bed. i thought it would be nicer on my back then it is also I'm a heavier guy so that might it. maybe the 4 would have been better but out of price range. i had to convince wife to upgrade beds but as i said want to love it more then i do.

I purchased a queen sized mattress. Because of the well designed packaging, I manged to lug the mattress (which came a day early!!) into my house and into my room all on my own. I should add that I am a 19 year old girl of average strength (I am only 5'8 if that helps). I hardly had to fight with the packaging at all. I have had the mattress for little over a month and I sleep great. I'm the envy of all my roommates! Definitely would recommend this to anyone who likes the support of a harder mattress but also enjoys the squish of a soft.
