I brought the Purple because my wife was leaving bed for the recliner because of back pain. She would stay in bed for only half the night. With the new Purple mattress, she has slept the whole night through. She now has no complaints of back pain in the morning. The mattress supports her back perfectly. She is enjoying a full night's sleep. Thank you, Purple Mattress your a lifesaver. Barry

I am truly impressed (and that's not easy). The morning after my first night's sleep on Purple I awoke WITHOUT A BACKACHE. It remains to be seen, but I feel I will get a lot more rest on Purple. Thanks for a great product that performs as advertised/claimed.

I suffer from low back and shoulder problems. It so far has solved my hip problems, allowing me to sleep without suffering from hip/low back pain. The shoulder problem still persists but I'm hoping this resolves soon. I sleep much cooler than most of the other beds I have tried including pillow top and foam mattresses. I highly recommend for anyone suffering from low back or hip problems. You won't regret it.

I have been enjoying this bed for roughly two months. But I must say I wake up a few times at night with my shoulders hurting, and have to keep turning sides. That is my only complaint. I hope this goes away soon as I didn't have that problem with my old mattress.

First of all, I loved the presentation and packaging of the bedding we bought. Very high quality. The mattress itself is really nice and it feels great. However; I do feel sort of sore in the morning when I wake up and I understand that that can happen so I am waiting it out to see if I adjust. I wanted to wait to leave a review but I have gotten several emails from you guys so far so I figured I would report on my experience thus far and update later on. Overall, I am satisfied and I feel like I received quality products for my money!

From day one, I woke up with no lower back pain. Unbelievable!! I was afraid there would be little to no support -- Boy was I wrong! It's neither hard as a rock or soft as a feather, just like it was made for me and my husband. When either of us get out of bed there is no movement felt from the other. I would 100% recommend PURPLE!!!!!

My husband loves the bed. It is perfect for him because he is a back sleeper already. However I am still adjusting because it doesnt seem to be as comfortable to me since I like to sleep on my side and stomach. In order to not wake up sore and achey I am forced to sleep on my back even though I have a hard time being comfortable that way since I am not a back sleeper. Which is why I am putting less than five stars. However, 1 out of 2 people happy is better than 0 out of 2 which is what the case was with our old bed. So it is certainly an improvement.

I have had my queen size Purple mattress for almost 3 months and I have not regretted it once. It is so comfortable and supportive. I have had chronic back pain for 15 years which would cause me to wake up with a sore back in the morning. For the first time in 15 years, I do not wake up with any pain, soreness, or stiffness. The first 2 days I did have some discomfort while my body adjusted to the mattress, but since then it has been smooth sailing. I cannot recommend this mattress enough! Do yourself a favor and stop reading the reviews now and go buy this mattress.

We have been sleeping on our Original Purple Mattress for about 2 weeks. So far, our backs and necks are happy. It's definitely different than our pillow top, I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone. You can kind of feel the grid even with the mattress cover, protector, and sheets - which isn't a problem, just a new feeling. The grid is supportive, but in heavier spots (torso) you can feel it bottom out at the foam in the middle layer. The side support isn't as great as a traditional mattress, but better than a cheap memory foam mattress. My partner is a stomach sleeper, I'm a side and back sleeper. With the purple mattress, the most comfortable position (preferably) is on my back. Upon arrival, we set up the mattress in a room with all the windows open. It does have a very strong smell from the silicone grid. After two weeks, the smell is still there but not as bad as the beginning. We did lots of research before buying a new mattress. Our top concerns were: we are both hot sleepers, we needed a firm bed, and to minimize movement. This mattress keeps us cool and is firm, however, there's still some movement when one of us moves around (movement level between a traditional mattress and a memory foam mattress.) Overall, we are happy with the mattress (but we don't recommend the bed frame - the legs are wood and it's very squeaky with little movement, also overpriced for what it was.) We are hoping this mattress will last us at least a few years. I honestly don't see it lasting as long as a traditional mattress, due to the lack of support (but the hybrid purple might help with that.)

I did a lot of research on non toxic mattresses and Purple came out on top with a good price. However, the mattress is too firm for me. I do not sink in so I have to adjust with pillows so that my hips and knees dont hurt. I am 5'2, 112 pounds. An average male has not problem sinking. Take your overall weight into consideration. This does not work for petite humans. Unfortunately, its hard to notice these things withing the 100 day trail.
