It took me several weeks to get adjusted to this mattress. I had to use my foam pad for about a week and then took it off and now I am sleeping better. I am guessing if you are a heavier person than I am the mattress would be more comfortable as the mattress would conform to your body better. I don't know if I would buy a second mattress like this. I'm a bit disappointed with it.

We are pleased with the sleeping quality of the purple mattress. Very comfortable and don't feel bed moving when my husband moves around. Disappointed in the fact that it was advertised as "king" size; but it is smaller by several inches than our regular king mattress. We do not have a California King. We were hoping that after it unrolled from it's packaging, it would straighten up enough to fill out the bed. IT DID NOT, so it looks cheap and incomplete. Very disappointed in that aspect. I had back surgery during the 100 day trial period and was not able to deal with what could be done about the size issue. The mattress is on the bed, but either the pillows fall off between the mattress & headboard or my husband's feet extend beyond the mattress at the bottom. We do like the mattress, but the size is quite a bit off.

I have had several mattresses over the past years some that cost over $4000.00 and others in the $1500.00 range they have been memory foam, pillow top, hybrid, and a pillow top latex mattress. So far the purple mattress out performs all of them. With all the other mattresses I woke up with my back hurting arms numb and it was hard to fall back to sleep. The purple mattresses is a different from any of the just by sitting on the mattresses you would think it's to soft, but when you are lying down it gives you perfect support. I have had the Mattress know for about a month so my only other concern would be that it holds up long term. The main reason I purchased this Mattress over the other brand that I could select the comfort not going to say any names was the 100 night trial and the price and I'm glad I did,

I absolutely love this mattress! I am not the guy that writes reviews in the first place, but this is worth talking about. My back has never felt better. I get so excited about climbing into the bed every night. Unlike pillow top or memory foam, you don't sleep "in" the mattress, you sleep "on" the mattress. That may sound like it is a firm mattress but the way it relieves pressure on you shoulders, back, and hips is amazing. I cannot fathom ever having another mattress. If you are considering buying one, do your life a favor and go for it. We have the original purple.

I've now had my purple for about 2 months. I like it well enough that I plan to keep it. I've always struggled with mattresses and this one is certainly not worse than others I've tried and maybe a even bit better. As a bigger guy (250lbs) I find myself wishing that that the purple layer was a bit thicker because I feel like I sink through to the foam layer underneath which is more firm than the purple layer. Or perhaps an even better solution is for me to lose some weight... In any case, the mattress is quality and for the money, I'm happy with my purchase.

I want to be honest with you, this is the most supportive bed I've ever owned, and the most comfortable one, I am very satisfied. I no longer wake up in the morning with a sore neck or an acing back. Its true and no one is paying me to say this. There is one problem I have, its because I'm 6,4ft tall. I need Purple to make a California King length bed. I must sleep diagonally to keep my feet from hanging off the bed. I own a queen Purple, I need a longer bed due to my height. Everything else is perfect. Good thing my girl is 5'7, she scoots to the side and gives me more space.

My husband and I decided to give Purple a try, though we were a bit skeptical at first. This mattress is amazing! We went on a weekend getaway recently and it was the first time ever that the mattress at the hotel was nowhere near as comfortable as the mattress I had at home. We end up going to the bedroom to lounge on the bed more than we sit on our couch now because it is that comfortable. We absolutely love it! Thanks for being awesome Purple!

We took a shot on this bed in April 2017 as an anniversary gift to ourselves. Prior to 30 days we wanted to return it, but we're told to just give it time to adjust since we had 100 days to try it. We did. We never adjusted and then were over the 100 accidentally so we couldn't return it. We've had it over a year now and wake up sore almost daily. I'm a side sleeper and my shoulder hurt unless I sleep on my back, which just isn't cozy for me. I feel like I sit on top of a form mattress instead of my body being in neutral, yet if I move towards my husband's size I sink in, even if he's not in the bed. I'm an average sized person at 5'7" and around 140 pounds. He's muscular/althetic and heavier than I am but only due to his height. It really shouldn't be different on sides. Maybe the new versions would suit us better but I personally would not buy the original again. If you like a firm mattress, I would recommend it but we regret our purchase and will be shopping for a new mattress when we have time and money.

I love my mattress (new version 3") but I wish I had bought the 4". I just came to the website to see if they sell a topper so I could add one but they don't. Oh well, it's great without it, but if you're gonna buy go all out and buy the top of the line. Love my Purple!

Was due for a new Matress, bought purple. At night I sleep on it, and am able to fall asleep. Seems to be doing the job I bought it to do. Nothing really magnificent sticks out. It's a soft place to go to sleep...it's hard to say it's amaxing, since it's doing what I paid it to do...
