We liked this bed so much we bought a second one. We are both side sleepers and went with the original purple bed. If you buy the purple frame to use instead of traditional box spring it makes the bed a little more firm. We actually prefer it to be softer so we are going back to box springs. You do need to give the bed a full 30 days before your body gets use to being supported correctly. It caused both of us to have a sore neck for about the first three days then all of a sudden you begin having the best sleep you have ever had. I use to need 10-12 hours of sleep a night to feel rested. I now sleep so well I'm rested after 6-8 hours of sleep.

The bed is the best I have ever owned. I have ordered most of the purple products since I have had the bed. Im not a huge fan of the mattress protector. (I think it leaves the bed a little harder) I am really excited for the pillow and sheet to arrive.

when I 1st received this (the ultimate) I thought what am I going to do with this? it's huge, but after using it I am so glad that I bought it I love how comfortable this cushion is. I have ankylosing spondylitis and horrible back pain. Now I can actually sit for some periods and get crafts done with out aggravating other symptoms. Now my husband wants one!

We have been waiting for years for a king size bed, so now we have a house that accommodates that and we love our purple bed. It is for him but yet cozy and soft it is comfortable I love the storage under the frame I can't say enough good things about it

My husband and I had tried nearly every mattress on the market, pillow tops, memory foam, latex and for the last 5 years Sleep Number. My husband is a 100% disabled vet with serious low back pain and insomnia. I have Fibro and the nights are so painful I nearly cry every time I turned over. My niece introduced me to the purple mattress concept and after trying it out in the store we bought one. The first night I slept without pain and so deeply I barely remember turning over. I woke up feeling so great from the first truly restful sleep I've had in years. My husband took a few nights to adjust but loves the mattress now as much as I do. I think that if you have Fibro or other sleep and pain issues you should run, not walk to your local Purple store and try this mattress. It has changed my life, I hope it does that for you too. My wife and I bought this mattress after our old mattress started keeping us up tossing and turning in the night. The purple was easy to unpack and set up. After you open the packaging, it rapidly expands from being compressed. It only takes a minute or two, and its completely ready to go. The cover on the mattress is way soft! You can feel the purple hyperelastic polymer that makes up the top "grid-feeling" layer. I can definitely feel how it absorbs your heavier pressure points, while the lower memory foam layers help to act as a solid support for the other regions of your body that need to be supported. Another thing I love about the purple mattress is the fact that it is SILENT when you crawl into bed. Other mattresses make creeking or spring noises, but this one doesn't make a peep! Overall, this is a fantastic mattress that I would recommend!

We bought the purple with big expectations. Not so much. My wife wanted the adjustable base, I didn't care as it was too expensive. Nonetheless, I looked forward to sleeping on it to see what the hype is about. My shoulders ache most mornings. Not a wow for me guys. I'm not overly large (245 lbs). Just saying.....

We love our purple. We have had it a couple weeks now. We no longer wake up with back aches and it's so nice to fall into at night. We got the sheets and love those as well. The only thing I'd say is it's not as tall as our other bed. It took some getting used to from our other mattress that set us up pretty high off the ground. If doing it again I'd also get a California King. We've always just had a king but for some reason this feels shorter then the average king.

My honest review of the Purple Mattress (standard): We've had the Purple mattress for just over a month and we are very happy with it. I wish we would have bought one years ago! It is so comfortable and we both love the feel of it (partner is a side sleeper, I am a stomach sleeper). I feel like I have been sleeping much better. We also purchased the Platform Bedframe and are very happy with that as well. A standard boxspring cannot fit up the stairs in our house, so this was perfect (and easy to put together). ALSO, the sheets are the best ever, we will be ordering more!

We have had our queen purple for around 5 months now. It is incredibly comfortable and has helped reduce back pain and head aches. We travel a lot and wish hotels would adopt the magic purple. We have a second home in another state and just purchased a purple for it.
