I have back issues, he has back issues and fibro. When it was time to replace our mattress he wanted this one because of the egg commercial. He is able to sleep decently, and the bed has a minimum of movement. No egg test for though. The bed seemed comfortable for a while but honestly I still wake up in muscle and bone pain everyday. I had hoped by waiting for a couple of months my body would adjust. Not for me. If my husband were not enjoying it, I would have returned it by the second month. I certainly do not think I would have spent 1000 on a mattress alone had I known it would have felt like this.

I have to say I was very skeptical. I suffer from a lot of back issues and after 3 kids, sleep is tough. I always take 45-60 minutes just to fall asleep and I wake often and very unrested. After a few nights on this bed my back feels amazing. I sleep solidly and it only takes me a few minutes to fall asleep. My only complaints are the mild smell the mattress had when we first opened, and the cutter to open the bag was unreachable and lost in the purple bag the mattress came in. I can't wait to try my new purple pillow!

Super comfy and a nice balance of feeling "held" like a memory foam and sleeping on top like a standard mattress. I'm not overheated. My back and should aches (From carrying our toddler and baby) went away within a week. It's been a really great transition

I've had the bed for a few weeks. It's the best bed I've had pretty much ever. The first few nights showed me how I was really supposed to sleep. I don't toss and turn all night and I wake up refreshed due to not moving around much at night. Some nights I've woken up in the middle of the night thinking that it's time to get up because I already feel fully revitalized. One night i was going to just take a quick nap and get back up. It was maybe 8 when I wanted to nap. I woke up thinking I had slept til morning and it was 11pm. If you're needing a new bed, you'll be glad you picked purple. I was looking at several different beds and although i didn't try any of them. I really don't need to because this thing is heaven.

Have had my Purple 3 for a month now. I used to wake up every morning with back pain. From the first night on my Purple mattress, my back pain was gone. I also love the pillow and sheets. I bought the power base as well. There is nothing I don't like about my bed. I was hesitant to spend so much, but it's definitely worth every penny. VERY HAPPY

Overall this mattress has lived up to its comfort promise for sure! It literally hugs every curve of your body. I can't wait to jump into bed at night, and waking up in the AM is a challenge because I don't want to leave. The only minor issue I have is edge support: you tend to roll right off the sides. You can also feel the matrix through the top cover which makes it kind of bumpy and is off putting at first.

At first when I bought my mattress a year ago, I really didn't think I liked it. It had such a different feel to it, that I really wasn't enjoying it. But after about a month of use, I realized many things - I had not ONCE woken up uncomfortable, I had not woken up ONCE with back pain, and I slept through the entire night every night for over a year. Everyone that I know who has tried it loves the mattress and all say they sleep amazing on it. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to say goodbye to back pain.

It is way too hard for us but I weight about 140 and the hubs about 165 so we had to put a 4 in piece of memory foam on top. Disappointed. First new mattress in 20 years and we ended up with our old Memory foam topper. :-(. If you aren't a heavy person you don't sink in on pressure points and my shoulder and hip were sore each morning. We tried it 4 weeks before putting memory foam on it.

I had a serious car crash 36 years ago! I have tossed, turned, flint, walked around the house all night; or cried myself to sleep!! I've Slept on all kinds of mattresses, and it wasn't until I slept on my new PURPLE Split-King Bed did I FINALLY get to sleep through the night!! Thank you PURPLE!! ~j.

I no longer have back and neck pain, for years I have struggled with this problem. I knew I needed to invest in a better bed, little did I know that this bed would change my life. I am so glad I did not spend thousands on a sleep number or pillowtop, definitely lived up to it's standards and it's all about the hype.
