I bought this mattress with my wife in mind. We have an old adjustable bed and were starting to feel the old mattress coils. We've had this mattress for just over a month now and we could not be happier. My wife is a side sleeper and severe COPD. She says she is sleeping much more comfortable and is sleeping for longer periods of time without waking. 5 *****s for sure.

I never heard of the purple bed until my nephew happened to rave about it. Since I had a lot of pain and discomfort in my bed. I took a chance and ordered it. From day one I have been so comfortable and I have no pain anywhere. I am able to sleep in any position without getting trigger points. I know my sleep is much deeper . I love the fact that the mattress isn't so fat that it's almost impossible to get sheets over the corners My lil English cocker spaniel loves the bed as well. And ironically she gets up in the morning the stiffness I could see before. It's just a great bed and I feel so well as a result of great sleep

I finally found sleep relief with this bed, I don't have pain in my back, I sleep hard, and I feel refreshed when I wake up. My wife has a bad back and it has been perfect for her. I am really happy with my bed. The only Issue I have with it, the bed likes to slide around the base if you don't have a head and footboard. Easy fix with bending a small piece of metal that stays hidden under the covers. That is my only recommendation to Purple, for those that don't have the head and footboard, perhaps an adaptable piece to keep the bed from moving on the frame. I can't give a mattress company a star less due to that issue. Absolutely love the bed. Being in the military, are there any workings towards that area?

This mattress was bought for our college-age son, whose friend had the same mattress. He insisted that this was the only mattress for him. His father and I were skeptical. But he was right. He would stay in his bed all day long if he could. He no longer complains of back aches. When your son wakes up happy and refreshed - always a good sign.

I have had my mattress for three weeks, and am experiencing more back pain than with my previous mattress. I am a side sleeper with a curvy figure - if the comfort level doesn't improve, I will have to return it. Surprisingly, I am also finding that it sleeps hot for me, even though I am using the Purple mattress cover and sheets.

We were excited to get the Purple mattress, but it didn't end up working out for my wife or me. It was too firm for her, too soft for me. Purple gets an 'A' grade in my book though for their customer service. They got us our mattress quick and got our money back to us quicker when it didn't work out in the end.

Way too much heat retention... both myself, and my wife did NOT sleep for about two weeks! Thankfully, your customer service division was very helpful in the return process. Otherwise, the whole experience would have been bad. I think your marketing strategy is brilliant, you just need a product to back it up?

Me and my wife have been sleeping on the Purple mattress Queen size for about a month now. It took my body about a week and a half to get adjusted to the bed. It is a firm but yet soft bed, But my wife does not need a pillow for her knees now and shes sleeping the best she has ever slept. I would recommend getting the bed and trying it out.

I dig anything that's approaches life in a less than status quo way. I very much like the idea of avoiding springs for a more supported feel. If I ever have to upgrade to a larger mattress in the future, it will be a purple mattress once more. A suggestion might have if that if I order a Charcoal bed frame, the legs should be grey or black to match, not brown.

This mattress is legit 5-stars amazing but please be aware that if you order it and sheets at the same time, you MUST have back up sheets at home until your Purple brand sheets arrive. I ordered a Queen mattress and Queen sheets but didn't get the sheets until two months later. That's two months of sleeping on a mattress with nothing but loose, bunchy King sized sheets because I had no other sheets. It doesn't matter if the website says it will only take 2-3 days for your selected color, that is inaccurate information. I couldn't fully enjoy my mattress until the sheets arrived. Now that the sheets and the mattress are combined, it's like I sleep on a slice of heaven every night. The parts of you that stick out just sink right in, while the parts that usually float above a gap get fully supported.
