The first couple of weeks I loved the mattress, my husband had a bad back and he said that it didn't feel any different so we gave it some time to "break in" now 2 months later and his back still hurts, recently my lower back has started to hurt and it's hard to get up out of bed. Wish I would have listened to my husband and returned it after a couple of weeks of having it and got a softer one :( I gave 3 stars because it's not a bad bed. We just prefer something softer.

...it is comfortable enough, and my significant other LOVES it, but to me it brings no stellar improvement, it hasn't changed my life, and the aches and pains I wake up with haven't abated since I started sleeping on this Purple. Sorry Tony and Terry.

I have to say it took me a couple of weeks to get use to the firm yet soft aspects of this mattress. I can now say that I am sleeping better and not waking with the consistent sore back of our previous set up. I have Rhemetoid arthritis so side sleeping on my shoulders is still a bit difficult although I prefer to do so. At least now my shoulders aren't near as sore when I wake ... Now that everything is more in alignment.

I must've spent a good 200+ hours online comparing and watching review videos of different web-ordered mattresses. My research always lead me back to Purple at the end of each session. I've slept on the mattress for roughly 2 months now. It has changed my life and increased my quality of sleep a hundred fold. Purple strikes the most beautiful balance between soft (like a cloud) and supportive (sink when you need it to, firm support once weight is distributed.) And it is very coo and airy. Top attributes of the Purple mattress for me: 1. Best balance between soft comfort and supportiveness. 2. It sleeps very cool with excellent airflow. One of the coolest around. 3. Very quick form-fitting response. It is a decently bouncy mattress, unlike the laggy, weird behavior that fancy memory foam mattresses have. This makes changing positions throughout the night very comfortable. 4. Customer service is excellent. I had to exchange sizes and the support staff is prompt, friendly and very helpful. After inheriting an expensive, insanely firm pocket-spring mattress from my parents for 6 years, my anterior mobility (inside the shoulders) is harshly compromised because I'm mainly a side-sleeper. Purple has already helped me so so much in my physical training and overall mobility. My sleep quality is up by a significant amount. Minor gripes: It's a heavy mattress. Unpackaging and positioning it all by myself (got a King-sized one) definitely worked up a sweat. Ask a friend or two to help will make your life easier. At first, some people might not be used to feeling the grid support structure on their body slightly. I have to say, it was not an issue for me at all. I got very used to it very quickly, even just the first night sleeping on the mattress. I also definitely recommend their sheets, which is extremely elastic with very good airflow. I love your product Purple. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a KING-SIZED Purple Pillow. I am definitely not the first one to ask for one, I've already seen multiple reviewers asking the same thing. The pillow just pairs TOO WELL with your bed, but we NEED the extra width to roll around comfortably. PLEASE consider selling Queen and KING-sized PURPLE pillow. Thank you. Love it, got it, is probably gonna pick up another one for the guest room. You won't regret it.

I knew after the first night sleep that the original Purple mattress was a keeper. The feel of the mattress is soft, yet it is supportive. As a side sleeper, it's necessary to have a soft bed, and it has to have some give to the mattress. A bed that's too soft without support is not good for side sleepers, and the original Purple has the right balance. I'd be curious to find out how well the new Purple mattress performs?

We love our purple mattress! There is a faint odor at first but it goes away quickly. Month one three and four have been fabulous. Month two was a bit rough--the bones in my lower back had to get used to actually being supported. As my muscles finally relaxed, the bones shifted and I did have pain for about four weeks. Totally worth it for the wonderful three months and counting that have been full of great sleep! This mattress is superior to any other we have tried. Thanks Purple!

I'd have my purple mattress for over a year before ️ I bought one for my wife and 2 daughters. Yeah I've got sleep apnea and my own room. They've been as blown away as I was. We won't be needing 100 or 10 nights. I used to go to the chiropractor 3 times per week, now once even if I don't really need it.

We all in all love our Purple mattress. Both my husband and I hurt less when we sleep on it. But it did take some adjusting to before we started sleeping well. I preferred a firm pillow before, but with this mattress I needed something fluffier and fuller. So it took some switching around to get things right. Also, be aware of needed to make adjustments to your alignment when you sleep.

This bed is perfect in every way, shape, and form. We got the base model and two Purple pillows. We are so in love with the whole set! My fiancé will get up in the middle of the night and I can't feel a thing when he moves. My back problems have basically disappeared. The only con is that you won't be able to sleep soundly on any other mattress besides your Purple mattress. That's a fact. I'll drive 4 hours home just to have a good nights sleep.

Your mattress is great! My husband and I are completely happy with our purchase and we look forward to the arrival of our other Purple products.
