I've been happy with this mattress and impressed with its comfort and support. I have been much less impressed with the service the company has so far provided. The mattress arrived within a week and the sheet's we're supposed to arrive in 2-3. It's been 10 weeks and the sheets are back ordered with no arrival date in sight. There has been also no communication on Purple's end unless I call or email to find out what is going on. This is a case of a company over promising and under delivering and then failing to communicate about these issues appropriately.

I've had some back aches from my old mattress being pretty stiff. After a week on the Purple mattress I didn't feel a change at all in how my back felt but I knew I had to give my body some time to heal and adjust. It's been over a month and now I wake up achy free.

The product is good - but I'd have skipped it had I known that it would take THREE WEEKS for everything to arrive. The website says at one point in the ordering process that the product ships in 1-3 business days. AFTER the order was confirmed, I got a notification that the items would ship in 5-7 business days. That alone is a dealbreaker. But that was also wrong! All but one item I ordered is scheduled to ship over TWO WEEKS past the order date. Unacceptable! There are many other comparable brands in quality for a similar price point that will actually arrive on your doorstep in a timely manner. Like a product you order off the internet in 2019 should.

What was once just my favorite color is now my favorite mattress, pillow, and sheets. I was having trouble sleeping for the past year, but, now, I drift right off when I lay down. I have had trouble with my arm going to sleep when I sleep on my side, but no more! I sleep fine: very comfortable, my back and neck-well supported, and I would have trouble going back. Now, if I could just get a travel pillow...

In the last 10 years I have purchased 4 mattresses, none have been the right one. I would wake up sore or in pain, bed too soft, too hard , too hot ect...Decided to try a newer hybrid style mattress, headed to local mattress store. To my surprise they carried the Purple mattress line! I tried the original, not quite right, then the Purple 2. Within 3 seconds of laying on the P2 I declared this is the one! I have always slept best on a double decker air mattress and this bed felt like that to me. Hard to describe: its soft, firm, supportive, responsive and slightly bouncy. The first night was a little like sleeping on an overinflated air mattress, I think that was because my back was supported so nicely, not used to such great lower back support! Also, I was so distracted by the soft luxurious bamboo sheets I received with my purchase. Lol! 2nd night better and 3rd night on has been amazing! I have waited my whole adult life for a bed like this, I no longer have pain or toss and turn. It is so hard to tear myself away from this bed in the morning and I think of it fondly while I'm away, did I mention I got the adjustable base too? Pure bliss.... If you live near a Mattress firm, go there and try out this mattress, you wont regret it! Even if you order online they have a great return policy. Now, if they would make a roll up mat for sleeping away from home like camping or motel, I would greatly appreciate it! Pretty please?

I actually bought this for my wife's grandmother who has been sleeping on an old saggy spring mattress for years. She's recently undergone back surgery which in my opinion was caused by the horrible mattress she's slept on! But we got her the purple to sleep on after her surgery and she loves it! She's about 80 years old and she said she's never slept so good! The purple helps her sleep comfortably while also assisting her to spring out of bed in the morning! I was a little nervous because of her back surgery but she said she absolutely loves it. Another happy customer! Thanks again Purple gang!

Just like the title says...the BEST mattress I have ever slept on. I have back pain from injuries over the years, car wrecks, racecar wrecks, motorcycle wrecks, and besides those from doing stupid stuff to myself. Anything beyond 4-5 hours in bed and I was in pain. Needless to say I was not well rested. We replaced our mattress less than a year ago with a known name brand, could not stand it. We eagerly awaited the arrival of our Purple and have not been disappointed. From the first time I laid down on it...mind you it did feel different, I could really feel every part of me supported by the mattress.... I went to bed the first night with an aching back...woke up with NO back pain...NONE... I wanted to lay right back down in it. Now I can sit and read a book or watch TV in bed, couldn't do that before either. My wife loves to sit and read in bed, she loves the support too! Love it, Love it, Love it!!! Thank you Purple! I was very skeptical of Purple. It seemed to good to be true. After years of living on a third rate mattress is this really a mattress that my back has been looking for? It was! this bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in my entire life. I have been all over the world in luxury hotels. No bed compares simple as that. Give it a shot you have literally nothing to loose. They will pay for it to go back if you don't like it. This mattress shows you don't have to be a king to enjoy the luxuries of the royal family.

Purple Sleeper for one month now. Much more comfortable sleep. No more back pain. Wife no longer has sore hips. Best mattress we have ever slept on. Previously used Serta Perfect Sleeper Brookside Cushion Firm Eurotop for 4 years. Started getting low spots. We'll see how long this Purple holds up, so far, so good! Very heavy mattress. ~115lbs Difficult to crawl across, it really sinks in with lots of pressure. They provide a tool for cutting open the bag the mattress comes in, but the tool broke after getting about half way through the first strap. Just used scissors after that point. Mattress unrolled from the packaging in the wrong way, had to flip the mattress after unrolling it.

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE this mattress. I sleep very comfortably and it has relieved many of my pressure points, I wake up not wanting to roll out of bed. However, since this is asking for an honest review, I would be remiss to not mention that I have noticed that the side I normally sleep on has become slightly more sunk in than the side I do not, and I've only had the mattress for about a month (I'm 175lbs, well below the weight threshold). It is still very comfortable and has no effect on my sleep, so I haven't called in about it, but if it does become more significantly drastic I'll have to ask to get it replaced. Also, my friend insisted we try the egg test, and it worked once, but the second time when I was sitting on the egg (only the Purple mattress protector on the bed) the egg cracked ): But those two things aside, it's a great mattress, I'll update this review if the sinking becomes an issue.
