I ordered the original purple mattress over a year ago, along with the sheets, base & 2 original purple pillows. I love it so much! I was in a car accident 5 years ago and have had to deal with whiplash & spinal problems for a long time. with our old bed I would wake up sore, now every morning I wake up refreshed! The mattress itself doesn't retain heat, it holds it's shape & It is very comfortable. I am very glad we purchased our purple mattress & I recommend it to all my friends!

I suffer from Fibromyalgia, Herniated disc's, & other physical ailments. I am so happy that I found this mattress! I am definitely getting a better nights sleep & it stays nice and cool. The only thing I wish, is that I could have afforded the Hybrid model because the basic is just a little to firm for me. Other then that, it has been great so far!

It's just not for us! My husband and I did not have any good sleep nights on Purple. His back hurt in the morning (he's a back sleeper), my shoulder and arm got numb and I felt a pressure point in my hip (I'm a side sleeper). It felt like all our trigger points only got more triggered. Besides, it was too firm for my ribs. Plan on returning.

I've been sleeping on this mattress for about 2 months now. It's a little different than many of the others I've tried but I took the company advice to give it 30 days. It stays cool and is supportive in the right places; I don't wake up sore. Also, the financing on the website was quick and easy and the delivery was actually 2 days early. I have no hesitation recommending this product.

I bought this bed after several people recommended it to me. I was hesitant at first, but after the first night I had slept in it I don't think I can go back to a regular mattress anymore! You can feel it give to your pressure points while at the same time supporting the rest of you. My joints no longer hurt after a night of rest. Worth every penny. In all honesty, the mattress itself deserves the full 5 stars. But I bought the mattress protector from purple to protect my amazing mattress AND it takes it down a notch. My mattress will forever be clean from my pets which seem to think my bed is also theirs, but my bed isn't as cool as it could be without the protection. Bit of a bummer. Back to the positives - I had back surgery just prior to getting this mattress and it has been a real dream with recovery!!

Our family has purchased 3 (three) purple mattresses. All queen size. I have also told people i work with about the beds and they also have purchased. Theirs was a king size. We are considering the pillows that just came out. We absolutely enjoy our purples. They may seem a little high in price, but once you receive it you will understand paying the price. Well worth it. We suffer from back pain and neck pain etc. Have had numerous surgeries and this mattress really makes you feel less pain and enjoy your sleep more. We will continue to tell people about Purple. I was having back problems. I tried all sorts of things to remedy it. Moved furniture to better position tv watching, chiropractic, feldenkris practitioner (both helped, but not permanently), treadmill to strengthen back muscles, changed pillows ... I finally broke down and purchased a purple mattress. I had been looking at them for years - I love the advertising humor. Hesitant due to cost and silly sentimental attachment to my old lumpy mattress. It was expensive when I bought it years ago and took a fair amount of mattress testing to decide 'firmness'. Laying on a mattress for a few minutes in a store vs all night - night after night - can be quite different. My mattress, to me, IS a very personal close attachment. I love sleep and therefore love my mattress. BUT my old one wasn't doing it for me any more. Therefore The Purple joined my household. I love it! No more back issues! (Almost.). Wish I would have gotten one years ago! Can't say enough about it! Thank you, thank you, thank you for developing the purple technology! Only issue is that it moves on the metal bed frame when making bed. But that also means I can move it back easily.

I have honestly never slept on a more comfortable mattress. I was skeptical at first especially because I couldn't find anywhere to try it out but wow has it changed my life! It's beyond comfortable but doesn't sink in and it stays cool all night. I would HIGHLY recommend this mattress. Even my dog loves it!

So let me be clear. I didn't lay on this mattress and initially think "whoa! This mattress is so plush and amazing" or even get that like body melting into mattress feeling. I was excited to give the 100 sleep guarantee a try because being 4 months pregnant with my 3rd baby I was pretty excited about the promises this mattress offered. We had an articulating base with our last mattress, and we kept that base and switched out the mattress for the Purple. The very first morning my husband and I noticed a difference!!! Again. It's SO strange because it's not like it's the normal crazy, cushy, pillowy mattress I'm used to considering as 'comfortable', but luckily, it's SO much better than that!!! It's supportive without being hard or painful! I wake up SO rested, and free of kinks and sore spots! SO priceless and has NEVER happened in a pregnancy before.
