Nothing against the mattress, it seems well made; its far too soft for me though. I sleep equally on my side and my stomach and since day one of sleeping on the Purple I have had increased lower back pain. I have also, when sleeping on my side, had my arm closest to the mattress go numb quite often. I'll be returning the Purple and trying something more firm.

Husband LOVES it, says 100% of his back pain from sleeping is gone. I find this mattress to be significantly more painful than my "normal" mattress. The only two things that I have found help to reduce the pain are: 1) Buy the purple bed frame. With the bed frame, I have less than half the pain I had from sleeping on this mattress when it was on the floor. 2) Don't have any blankets (etc) in the bed with you. If it's just the fitted sheet between me and the mattress, I get some compression from the grid. If a blanket gets under my back in the night, I get no grid compression and wake up in extra pain! I'm not sure what's causing the difference in comfort besides weight being needed to compress the grid, but since I am not light weight (Husband is 240lbs, I am 145lbs) I would not have expected having a problem using the purple grid. Really wish I could say that I love this mattress too, but unfortunately I do not.

Shipping and customer service was a little sketch, got some bum information from their chat service (which took forever and kicked back to the back of the line repeatedly). That said, I don't believe in down grading a product that is awesome (with a great development team) because customer service is trash. Just know they are going to suck, but the bed itself is fantastic. We have been debating getting a purple for years and I finally caved and it is totally worth it. While my body hasn't quite adapted to having a cooler mattress, as in I'm acutely aware that it is there, my sleep isn't poorly affected by the new type of mattress. Both my husband and I have slept better, woken up with less creaks, and find that we sleep more soundly. I'll review in the other product, but the mattress cover is loud...so if you need quiet, maybe find a different one...or double sheet.

The entire experience was very easy, from purchasing to delivery and setup. It took me about a week to get used to the bed, but I sleep great on it now. The sheets are awesome, soft, and stretchy. They help with the whole experience. I don't want to get out of bed now! I have recommended this to my friends, hopefully they will feel the same way.

My wife and I knew we needed a mattress. We both were experiencing stiff lower backs and pains almost every morning (and we're young). Doing our best, we shopped around for months looking for the "best" deal. I had several friends who purchased Purple and swore by it, so we jumped on the bandwagon. This mattress sleeps so cool. I used to wake up sweating literally every night only sleeping with a sheet. Now I sleep with the luxury sheet by Purple and a comforter to keep warm. It's amazing how well the mattress breathes. We purchased the Harmony pillows as well, very cool design and pillows stay cool as well. The profile of the harmony is a bit high, if I sleep with it any other way than on my side it causes a little neck discomfort, but for the wife she is in love. Overall we have had a great experience with everything Purple, glad we took the plunge. And did I mention no more back pain?! A+

Okay, I'll confess............ I was dubious. I had a memory foam mattress, which was supposed to be the all-singing, all-dancing most comfy thing in the universe. And it was...........alright, okay, not bad. But over time, it was more and more UN-comfy, and so I started looking around for another choice. And purely by accident I stumbled across Purple. I asked myself if I was falling for the hype on yet another product. "How much comfier and better for the back could it ACTUALLY be?" I asked myself. "It's expensive", I told myself. But I decided to try it anyway. And yes, it's expensive. But oh so worth the money. My back hasn't ached and it's been kind to my sciatic nerve attacks. I actually look forward to bedtime again, the time of snuggling into a fluffy cloud of comfort and cosiness. I LOVE this mattress.

I have been enjoying my Purple mattress for about a month now and I do like the quality. I just recently moved out of state and only had an air mattress to sleep on for months. I can't argue with the quality, but I think 4 weeks is way too much time for a customer to have to wait for their mattress. Not to mention that there is no note on the website (unless I missed something) of how long it takes to ship the items until you have already placed an order. I ordered the Purple mattress and platform on the same date and they don't even arrive together. The platform takes 2 months to arrive. I slept on the floor with my purple for a month before it arrived. The platform was missing one of the rubber feet as well so if I didnt have a carpeted floor I would have had to pause constructing it just to go to a hardware store to look for rubber feet. All and all I am left with a bittersweet experience with the Purple company. I enjoy the quality of the mattress, but I felt kind of duped when I ordered the mattress not knowing it would take 2 months to get everything I ordered.

I was worried about a few things. 1 buying a bed online, 2 some reviewers mentioned a smell 3 not being able to test the bed out before buying it. Needless to say, I just pulled the trigger and was astounded to say the least. It has been a magical purchase. Would do again if I had need to.

I've done nothing but RAVE(Brag in case someone is all "Dictionary") about the Purple since I bought it. The Affirm payment plan is perfect for me and offers booth cooling while sleeping, and also comfort and support for my hips so I don't wake up in pain. I won't give this bed up ever! but buy all the options to make the perfect blend of comfort and rest!!

I already sent in a review right after I bought not 1 but 2 twin mattresses. I didn't get a response. For what you're charging per mattress, for the Faith I put in you to have purchased 2 mattresses, sight unseen, I believe I deserved better. I should've received a response back. And immediately. Everything was great in shipping etc. Buu the chemical smell from just one was nasty, pungent & has yet to go away! I've had a large fan blowing out the smell of the mattresses all day, everyday, 24/7 since they arrived. Still no relief & we still don't sleep in that bedroom as we are waiting for the smell to dissipate. That was something that you should've told me prior to purchase. I feel ripped off & would like my $$ back because of the endless chemical smell & your lack of concern. I also have no intention of shipping them back because the weight of each mattress is very heavy & I wouldn't be able to get the mattresses back in their duffle bags. What now? I need to use those beds. The smell is making that impossible. Sincerely, Cheryl P
