After trying out a few other beds and even trying a purple 2( did not like was to cold and I sleep hot) I decided to give the org purple a try. I'm glad I did so far been 3 weeks I sleep really good on it. My last mattress my calves would cramp up on me and my hands would fall asleep. Since sleeping on the purple these 2 probs are not happening any more and my back feels great. The only I do wish they would change on this mattress is do 3 inch instead of the 2 inch top layer. But not really a big deal. I'm 6 ft like 185. Thanks Purple

ive had the same mattress since I was 13, I needed a new mattress and I did my research and I decided on purple. It was delivered rather quickly and I was so exited. The first couple of nights I couldn't sleep a wink (I think out of pure excitement, anticipation and, change) but once I got used to the change, I don't think I've ever been this comfortable in my life. Every day I'm sitting at my desk at work counting down the hours until I can go home and lay in my bed. I fully recommend this bed to everyone that will listen to me. Well done purlple people, well done!

Let me start this review off by saying that despite everything I am about to say I would buy this mattress again. I chose to get this bed because my innerspring mattress was creating a lot of discomfort and pain throughout the night (and day) from all of the pressure points. This mattress was less than 2 yrs old. When I received this mattress I weighed about 275 lbs (recently down from over 300 lbs). I was surprised by the lack of the support from the upper layers. I immediately sank down and could feel the bottom (firmest) layer very pronounced. Despite the lack of comfort from the bed it did grant me something I dearly needed which was a day without pain. The lack of pain the day after the first night sleep was amazing. That being said I am a side sleeper and the only time and I not uncomfortable in the bed is on my back which would be fine if I could sleep in that position. Consequently I typically have trouble finding a position in which to sleep that affords comfort. Out of habit I try to sleep on my side with my arm under my head with the pillow in between. The mattress will not permit this (for me). When I try it positions my spine out of alignment and I experience fairly intense pain. It could no doubt be argued that one should not sleep in such a position to which I reply "I sleep how I sleep. I am not conscience when I change positions in the middle of the night so I have little control over it." I am not saying don't buy the bed if you sleep like this as well. I am saying go in fully informed. My innerspring mattress accommodated this way of sleeping. The purple mattress does not (at least for me). It is probable that I will not experience many of these issues when I am down to 240 lbs or less. By the same token I cannot even imagine the discomfort if I were still over 300. I just think if you are a heavier person you should take this into consideration. That being said, if you are not someone who has a problem sending the mattress back if it does not work out of you, then you really have nothing to loose by trying it out (with the likely exception of a fair shipping and handling fee).

To be honest, the shipping part needs work, we received our mattress days before our support frame and sheets. Set up was simple, and that night my wife and I both agreed was the best sleep we had in awhile. We opt'd for the purple sheets, which provide more temperature control as well as more flex to the mattress... I admit at first I thought the sheets were just an expensive gimmick but after swapping them out with "normal" sheets, we can both tell the difference in comfort and temperature. We will be ordering another set of the sheets soon, as well as the pillows to try out. We also plan on getting my son his own Purple mattress soon... Maybe the dog will get the Purple Pet mattress, if we have money left over LOL, This review is after sleeping on the Purple mattress for a couple of weeks.

I bought the purple mattress a few weeks ago, got the mattress, platform, pillow, and the free sheets. It has made a BIG difference in my life. I no longer wake up with horrible upper back pain, my lower back feels stronger and more supported now, and my neck pains have also gone away. The shipping was much faster then I excepted and It was great from day one...but after 2 weeks its even better. Its the best bed I've ever slept on Be careful when unpacking the bed however i accidentally put a hole in my purple cover fabric (my own fault). I plan on picking up additional purple products in the near future.

I bought the purple mattress due to tossing and turning a lot during the night and not getting good sleep. Turns out it is not the mattress it is just me. Although the mattress is comfortable I still toss and turn at night and not getting good sleep. The mattress does not sleep as cool as I would have thought.

I just purchased a king size Purple 3.0 from Matress Firm. We were convinced to try the purple sheets to go with the bed. The bed arrived before the sheets so we waited to try out the bed until we got the sheets. Sheets arrived yesterday and we pull them out of the box spread it on the bed and there are 12 distinctive spots on the brand new sheets out of the box. We tried washing the sheets to see if this would come out and some of them did not. We like the sheets, but very disappointed that our new sheets are already soiled before ever using them.

We've had the Original Purple for about 3 weeks. I'm a back sleeper and my fiancé is a side & back sleeper. It feels great for back sleeping - it really contours. The side sleeping is a bit harder, where she feels more pressure points and sometimes still wakes up with a sore back. We also received a Purple Pillow, which I'm using. It's pretty flat, but feels comfortable if I use another thin bed pillow over the top of it.

My husband is a stomach sleeper and i am a side sleeper and we both are in love with the Purple mattress! We slept on a memory foam mattress for 2 years and it was too firm for us. The first week of sleeping on the purple mattress we woke up before our alarm a few times because we had gotten such quality sleep we weren't tired anymore! That's saying a lot for us!

I've tried many mattresses, Casper, Leesa, Dreamcloud...this was the worst. We are both side sleepers. It was like sleeping on a sack of egg foam toppers in a craft store. And customer service is TERRIBLE. Don't accept the free gift. If you don't like the mattress they take the price of the free gift off the top. Then they make you try to figure out your own pickup of the mattress before they will come and get it. Now it's 3 weeks out from that pickup, 2 emails and another payment later and I still haven't heard a peep from them....
