Not quite as "squishy" as we thought it would be. Definitely comfortable, we both sleep great at night, but for side sleeping we would like a little more give. There is almost no transference of movement which is great because we get up at different times. Overall, happy with our mattress!

I did an extensive amount of research before buying my mattress and knew the factory direct model was the best value. I almost went with Leesa but was intrigued by Purple's new technology and the reviews about sleeping "temperature neutral" by some of the best review sites. They were right. It's extremely comfortable regardless of position and responds to movement immediately unlike foam. Also it dissipates excess heat easily and you do not get hot or cold due to the mattress. Cannot say enough about this mattress. My biggest compliment is going to be purchasing a second one when I get a guest room! I bought mine before they had sheets/protectors so I'll be picking them up soon.

I'll say first of all that I believe each person sleeps better on different types of mattresses. I don't think there's one mattress that's best for everyone. That said, Neither my wife nor I got anything close to a good night's sleep on our Purple for three straight nights, and we returned it afterwards simply because we couldn't keep going like that. We truly needed to get more sleep, and we've never experienced that in any mattress before. The Purple was much more firm than we expected, even with stretchy sheets. I don't hold it against Purple very much that we didn't sleep well on the mattress, and delivery was pretty fast, and the return process was easy and painless. The packaging is another story. Our previous mattress was a Casper, which we also returned, as it was surprisingly firm as well. I took a video of the Casper setup, and it literally took three minutes from being in the delivery packaging to being on the bed, inflated, and ready to lie down. The Purple comes in way too much plastic. It was easily 15 minutes to wrestle through all the overlapping layers of plastic wrapping, and was a much more physical process to get it out of the plastic and laid out on the foundation. The bag it ships in (which hopefully is recyclable, in spite of the big zipper) looks disturbingly like a body bag. There was definitely a smell, which disappeared after a few days. I don't mind it personally, but my wife did very much. As I said, the whole experience was pretty painless, and I applaud the way companies like Purple are cutting out the ridiculous mattress stores from the process. This one just wasn't for us.

I've had a Purple mattress for a couple of years now and recently encountered a warranty issue. Maddy C. in customer service answered my many questions thoughtfully and professionally, and was prompt and friendly throughout our entire exchange. Maddy not only helped me resolve my issue, but also took the time to make sure I understood what to do every step of the way. The Purple mattress is amazing and I love it, but the customer service is what makes this company stand out among the rest. I will be a customer for life, and will encourage my friends and family to be customers, too.

Not sure it's the mattress for me? Since setting it up it has a smell? Is it the rubber? I slept on it for three days then had my sister visit I had her sleep on it so I could get another opinion she didn't sleep well the first night the second night alittle better she slept a third night and thought it was alittle hard for her. I'm back sleeping on it and I haven't found it the most comfortable mattress yet I will see what my thoughts are after one week.

I have had it for 2 weeks its the most comfy bed we've ever owned..worth every penny. I tryed two other mattresses before seeing purple omg its so jelly soft but supports you i cant wait to sleep in it every night..Thank you for creating this beautiful..comfortable mattress..Cheers. I am a diehard Tempupedic Cloud lover. However, my husband despised it and we needed to upgrade to a king. We poured over reviews of online mattresses, watched video reviews, and talked to friends. We settled on Purple and I am very happy we did. The first two nights, I missed my Tempurpedic and was sure we'd be sending it back during the trial period. It was too firm for me and a bit too bouncy. Then, as other reviewers have described, my body adapted and it has become a bed I look forward to crawling into. Even more exciting is the fact that my husband has never been so happy with a purchase. We loved it so much, we convinced my mom to buy one and now she's in love with it too. We also purchased the platform - which is high quality and very stable, the mattress pad - which is essential as it is flexible and protective, and the sheets. All of the extras are the same price at department stores, but not nearly of the high quality the purple products are. Finally, I had a few minor issues with my order and then my mom's and the company was responsive, personable and VERY accommodating. The whole experience with this company and the products has been great!

I haven't been able to sleep for months and was never really sure why. The purple totally changed my life! It took about a month to give the mattress a chance but it was like a switch was turned and I can finally sleep through the night again. Also, I am married and my husband is 100 pounds heavier than me and moves A LOT while sleeping and I literally don't feel him thrashing around at night anymore. I have been recommending this mattress to everyone.

Finally free from years of constantly twisting and turning all night, getting hot and cold, back/shoulder/neck pain!!!!!!! Purple has the perfect balance of firm and soft. It molds around your body like a traditional memory foam without the feeling that you are stuck forever. My husband used to complain about how hot he got at night, and now the complaining has stopped! Love this mattress!!

I bought the mattress for my son. He said he likes it. If you're on the lighter size then the mattress will feel firmer. He doesn't mind that it feels firmer said it helps his back. He got the pillow for free. It had a smell at first but after a few weeks it went away. The mattress had no smell at all.
