Decided to try online order after buying a Serta for much more. Needed 2 mattresses so bought a purple and a dreamcloud No no no comparison, I am sending the dreamcloud back and ordering another purple. Incredible mattress, best sleep I've ever had at half the price of the serta

Friends told me how good it felt to sleep on, so I bought and am so pleased. It's hard to explain why I sleep so good but I do. The pillow needed some adjusting bh adding a pillow inside since the purple pillow no longer comes with a boater to fit inside for height.

I have had the purple mattress for 6 years and as it started out comfortable. But over the years it is causing more pain in my back then I experienced with any other traditional mattress. I know sleep no more than 4 hours a night do to the pain. I personally would never buy a purple mattress again nor any other bed in a box. Its not worth the money.

My husband and I (and our toddler) had been sleeping on a queen mattress that my husband has had since he was in high school. It was worn out and very uncomfortable! I constantly dealt with back and hip pain that was almost unbearable during my last pregnancy. We decided to treat ourselves to the king size purple mattress, and I am so glad we did! The first few nights were a little weird because it was so different from anything we've felt before, but once we acclimated it has been great! We sleep much better and wake up with little to no pain! I'm so excited to have a better mattress for the next time I'm pregnant!

The purple mattress is a nice mattress. Overall I'm generally happy but I don't think Purple's marketing claims stand the rigor of real world application; specifically the claim about spine alignment for side sleepers. The mattress is much softer than I believe the marketing leads you to believe. This causes you to sink into the mattress. Depending on body shape and size your spine may or may not align properly after sinking into the mattress. I find my 6'4" 185lbs frame does not align optimally which can cause some back soreness after a full night's sleep - especially if I sleep in. Also, stretchy sheets are a requirement. The mattress simply does not perform well with standard sheets. Stretchy sheets are relatively new and therefore have a premium cost associated with them. Keep this in mind while shopping. I was hoping this mattress would alleviate the stiffness and soreness I experienced after a full night's sleep on my 10+ year old Seely Posturepedic. While I noticed an improvement with the Purple mattress, the difference is more incremental than revolutionary.

My wife and I tried the mattress, I kinda like it, my wife really dislikes the mattress. She has complained about pain along her right side, the side she sleeps on. We've been sleeping on the bed for over 2 weeks and we have moved into a guest room of a new home until the return is complete. The best part of the process has been the customer service. 5 stars on that aspect of this process. Best wishes.

I'm pretty sad about this. The fumes from the mattress are so noxious that every single day that I wake up I feel sick. I've tried airing out by not making the bed and removing all coverings. Which reminds me, I hate the fact that someone scribbled initials that read MAD on my mattress. Would a little fabric, showing who inspected have really thrown the budget?. I toss and turn, wake up with lower back aches. I'm still trying to give it a chance because I really, really want to like it but it's actively working against being liked. In conclusion noxious fumes and grafitti bring it down to a one star.

The purple bed is amazing. I never slept all night and always woke up with a sore back. Now I never wake up in the middle of the night and I never wake up sore. I tell everyone about purple! My mom says I should be a sales rep for purple! I carry the little grid around in my purse to show people.

Im a 40 something graveyard working female cop with lots of old injuries after 18+ years on the job. Im also a nuclear hot side sleeper. This mattress has improved my daylight sleep time from an average of 3 to 7 hours! Any sleep is welcome after my 12+ hour shift. My Purple bed is the perfect supportive firmness for my sleep position and achy bones while allowing me to stay cooler than any of my previous mattresses. I also suffer from heart burn often which is common for high stress shift workers. I put my mattress on my adjustable base for those times i cant fall asleep without my head elevated. We've had it for almost a month now. The support is great. My husband has a back problem, and his chiropractor recommended this bed. He has had minimal back pain. I still wonder how long it will last though. Only time will tell. I love how there's minimal disruption (movement transfer?) when one of us move, gets in, or gets out of the bed. We just sleep on. It seems it's not as hot as our old bed. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase.
