I was a little nervous about trying purple bed, what with some reviews (and I believe the company) saying it could take a couple weeks to adjust. However my wife and I immediately loved it. We both sleep curled up and on our old mattress we used to sink pretty deep with our weight being concentrated in one place. Not so with Purple. We are very happy with our purchase - with the 100 day money back guarantee, there's no reason not to try it.

If so then in my opinion this bed is perfect for couples who snuggle throughout the night. I have really bad lower back pain and this bed has actually relieved it quite a bit. My boyfriend and I love this bed and so does our doggies lol. Just know that it takes getting used to but after a bit I think you'll fall in love.

I got my purple 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was ready to go as soon as we unwrapped it. The only problem was it was rolled up upside down so when we unrolled it, we had to flip it. Not easy. The mattress is HEAVY. I will say its literally the coolest mattress I've ever slept on. I usually sleep with a sheet and one light comforter. Often I end up kicking the comforter off by morning 'cause its just too hot even though I set the thermostat to 59 at night. I've had to add another blanket wth the Purple! I like that because I like to sleep under lots of covers - which isn't easy when you sleep hot. But the side towards the mattress isn't as warm. On the negative side, I'm heavy set and a side sleeper. I feel like my arm and shoulder get very stiff during the night. It just doesn't feel like there's enough cushioning for me. When my arm starts to hurt I want to turn over. I haven't been able to sleep on my left side for about a year. But after 2 weeks on the Purple I can now sleep on either side. I am truly still undecided. It does in fact get better as your body adjusts. I almost want to put a pillow topper on it to add more cushioning and even warm it up a bit in the winter - but that seems to defeat the whole point of buying a Purple. I intend to give it the full 30 days recommended before deciding.

Other than slight shipping delay, overall experience went well. We've had the original purple mattress for 2 weeks now. I'm normally a back sleeper, but I've been able to sleep comfortably on my side - which I'd never been able to do before. Overall very comfortable with just enough give. Was expecting it to sleep a little cooler - but not bad on that front. We would recommend to anybody looking for a better mattress.

Certain positions (more on one's stomach) tend to put strain on ligaments in the legs because there isn't enough weight to have the feet contact the mattress well. Maybe this goes away with the mattress breaking in some? Otherwise, feels like a "real bed", because of the responsiveness of the top layer.

I have a bad back so I made sure to spend a lot of time reviewing many mattresses and all customers had to say on each one. When the mattress first arived I was not thrilled the first night, it was so firm and different from my old mattress. After the first week I noticed that I sleep throughout the whole night. I purchased the most expensive cushion because I needed the padding, otherwise the circulation in my legs gets cut off. The cushion seems to hold up well. The only thing that I find really annoying is that it constantly slides off my chair. YOU THINK THE COMPANY WOULD HAVE PUT VELCRO OR STRAPS ON THE CUSHION SO I COULD ANCHOR IT TO THE CHAIR!

It is way too hard for us but I weight about 140 and the hubs about 165 so we had to put a 4 in piece of memory foam on top. Disappointed. First new mattress in 20 years and we ended up with our old Memory foam topper. :-(. If you aren't a heavy person you don't sink in on pressure points and my shoulder and hip were sore each morning. We tried it 4 weeks before putting memory foam on it.
