The wife and I purchased the full gambit of Purple items in order to upgrade, update, and uplift our sleeping area. We went all out and got the base model bed, the sheets, the mattress protector, the weighted blanket, and the pillows. We literally had a complete change from the 12 year old hand-me-down King mattress with a foam topper to "extend" it's usability. This upgrade led to sleep that, frankly, surprised me on many levels. When I first unfurled the bed and positioned it, I had in my mind that I would lay on it and melt into it. (I purchased this at the start of Covid-19 lockdown so trying out before purchasing was not an option) I had read about how amazing the Purple mattress was and after doing extensive research, I pulled the trigger. I laid down and was immediately shocked at how firm it was. I have always preferred softer beds and was used to it, per the foam topper from the previous bed. This firmness led me to immediately being afraid I would hate the bed and luckily had the return guarantee I was sure I was going to have to take advantage of. I read that it can take a week or two to become fully adapted and that would let me know if I liked the bed or not so I decided to give it a try. I pulled the surprisingly inviting weighted blanket onto myself, not prepped for actual sleep btw, and the wife tells me I said that the bed was ok, but we would see... I woke up 10 hours later... I was refreshed and surprisingly relaxed. I have a history of back pain due to injuries when I was younger and ever since I started sleeping on this bed I've been able to do my morning stretches and be perfectly fine the rest of the day. Prior to this, stretching only minimized the pain. It did not get rid of it. I personally love the entire ensemble, but the wife can no longer use the pillow. She needs a firmer pillow in order to support her and she woke up with her neck hurting and decided to not use it anymore. That just leaves more pillow for me. The weighted blanket is great, but we have occasionally had to take it off of us due to getting too hot. Oddly enough when using the Purple sheets, it mitigates the heat to a level that prevents us from removing it as often in the middle of the night. The sheets are so soft and I cannot stress how much I enjoy our bed now. This was a purchase I'd gladly make again.

I've had the purple mattress for a year now and it's not that comfy as a mattress I get up every morning with a headache and back pain since I have scoliosis when I've never had this problem before with my old mattress. if I just got a normal memory foam mattress that would've been better and much much cheaper than a mattress that claims a lot of things and none of them are true and the egg challenge is fake for god sakes it broke on my bed and it was a mess over here!

I am someone who deals with constany lower back and hip pain for someone in their 20s. This is the only mattress I have slept on that does not make the pain worse; in fact, I have no issues with pain at all with this product. I wake up and it surprises me that the pain is not caused by my mattress anymore. Worth every penny I spent on the Purple mattress, and I recommend to everyone I talk to.

OMG is all I can say and this is the original? Wait till we get the upgraded ones. This bed is great still testing things out will be in touch. By the way I use to be a stomach sleeper but for some reason I have become a side sleeper because of this bed I believe.

I am 6' tall and 200lbs. Realistically this would be an average sized sleeper. I tried the original purple mattress and found it soft yet firm simultaneously. It felt weird and too firm overall to sleep well on, I exchanged it for the purple 4 and that felt way too noodly soft and unsupportive, I felt like I was folding in half like a taco trying to sleep. Customer service was very friendly and excellent helping me return both mattresses.Their matresses are weird and exciting and like nothing else out there but they were not for me and my fickle low back.

I'm not one to review things but I have to say that purple mattress is the best thing to sleep on than any mattress I have had . Have slept better since first night then I have in decades. Yes decades lol. So I say if you want to sleep good and comfortable get one they are worth every penny.

I purchased the Queen size Purple Mattress in Dec of 2016 and it was delivered in late Jan of 2018. It is now September and I can say that this mattress is amazing. It is both firm and giving/comfortable. I have friends that come over and say "can I lay down on your amazing bed for a while" - not joking. I can say I am extremely happy with this purchase. If you run hot at night, like I do (memory foam mattresses, even with cooling gel, make me quite hot) - the mattress is quite cool as long as you do NOT use Purple's mattress cover,. I run pretty hot at night . Unfortunately, the mattress cover they sell is polyester or some other material and it gets super hot. So - get the mattress, but skip the cover (for sure) and find a natural cotton or linen cover if you run hot.

All the products I've got are top Quality. Mattress is great. i sleep much better than before. Sheets and mattress cover are top quality and i'm happy i ordered them The Base is solid and well built. My only remark is that the combination of the mattress and the base are very high, if they were couple of inches shorter the fifth star would have been reached. As a whole, Awesome products!!!

I've suffered lower back pain for some time, which caused me to not be able to sleep on our old mattress for about 2 months. After getting purple the first three weeks I woke up with back pain. I was a little disappointed but knew from reading other reviews that it was not uncommon for your body to have to adjust. I finally switched sides with my wife and immediately my pain ceased. I've been waking up with no pain for about a week now. I have no idea why switching sides helped but it did (it might be because it's setting on our old box spring). My wife loved it immediately and had great results.

I have a few chronic injury related issues with my back and neck and after receiving my purple mattress I am sleeping more comfortably, I have no added pain caused from the mattress, I am sleeping better through the night, and not so sweaty hot like my other mattress made me. I have no complaints and no regrets for buying the purple mattress and it's nice that it's not radiculously expensive like those other mattress companies charge. It has change my life in a positive way for sure!
