I purchased the original purple mattress back about 6 months ago and quickly decided that it was too thin. I contacted Purple and was able to exchange the original for the all-new purple mattress, which I was very happy to hear. They did tell me that this second mattress would not qualify for the money back guarantee though, and I decided to go forward with the exchange anyway. I was so optimistic that this would be the mattress of my dreams! So I took the risk and now about 3 months with the new 2-inch purple mattress, neither I nor my husband is happy with it and I can't send it back. I'm stuck with it! We are both experiencing back pain, that we did not have previously, and there are noticeable dips in it as well. It's just not the quality results that they advertise. I am looking forward to getting rid of it sometime soon and maybe trying the sleep number bed.

Honestly, don't do it. This bed is way to comfortable. Add the purple sheets and it's over. You won't want to leave the bed. It's really hard to turn off your alarm and get up for work. It's so easy to sleep in and forget plans you made. Think twice before you take the plunge. Also: this is a firmer mattress. I initially jumped for a hybrid premier thinking I would love it because I'm a side sleeper but I was frustrated that my back hurt every morning. Switching back to something closer to the original (firmer) was my fix. Couldn't be happier!!

I am two months in with using the purple bed. After the first week of my body becoming adjusted to the bed, which is going to be common since it's a bed type that your body has never rested on, I no longer have back or neck pain. This mattress is absolutely phenomenal. I praise it to everyone that I come across and I've mentioned it several times while just talking to my friends about how amazing it is and I encourage absolutely everyone to get one. I don't ever see me going back to any other type of mattress other than the purple mattress. The mattress cover is also extremely soft and absolutely so comfortable. In short I love the Purple. -I bought this bed for full-price and have in NOWAY been incentivised for this review.

I went all in with this mattress thinking that it would solve the problems I have waking up with pain (or at least alleviate them). So far, some pain has gone away, but I still wake every morning with some lower back pain. Based on the promises of Goldilocks, I thought for sure this would not be the case. At this point, I cannot afford to buy another mattress, and I am well past the point of getting a refund. I am hopeful that using the stretchy Purple mattress protector will give some relief.

After many months of research and searching for the perfect mattresses. I decided on Purple 3. We were so excited when it arrived. This is a very good looking mattress, however that's where it all ends. I'm 6'2" 280 lbs. My first night was not comfortable, flaring up my back injuries from my military days gone by. 2nd night, toss and turn and more discomfort. 3rd night, continued discomfort. 4th night, left the bed in the middle of the night and tried to sleep on the couch. Next morning, moved the purple 3 out of the bedroom. Brought back the old mattress, slept wonderfully the following night. Additionally, this mattress is not cool. This mattress gets very warm. Suffocates your skin. The bed sheets pretty much sticking to your skin by morning. My girl friend, is 145 lbs. and says the mattress was comfortable for her, however she noticed feeling warm and not cool as described by the manufacturer. Moving this mattress is nearly impossible. You will need help from a neighbor. VERY, Very, very heavy. The mattress does not have any handles to help. Overall.. this is a really good looking mattress!!

It's honestly a really nice mattress. Super comfy. Perfect inbetween of firm and soft. BUT I wish they used a better shipping company that wasn't fedex because my mattress was on the truck for a week after the specified arrival date until I got it settled with fedex

Me & my bf use to ALWAYS wake up with back pains with our old mattress. I did a lot of research & decided to take a chance & purchase the purple mattress. Best Decision ever! I've actually been sleeping through the night & I wake up with no back pain at all! I highly recommend! Only con I would say is you are not going to want to get out from bed in the morning due to how comfortable it is lol!

The mattress is just as advertised. It's very comfortable, you wake up with very little to no back pain, and you sleep better. My husband and I chose this mattress because we both had back pain every morning when we woke up, and now we no longer do. When we purchased the mattress, I was 6 weeks pregnant, and I am now 15 weeks along and I am SO glad we choose this mattress! My back thanks me. I would most certainly recommend to anyone and everyone.

This mattress is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. It supports in all the right places and doesn't disturbe my spouse when I move. It doesn't overheat and I would highly recommend this product to any and everyone. Also the pillow and sheets are phenomenal.

I am a side/ back sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper so it has been difficult to find a mattress that we both like. We both LOVE our Purple Mattress! And, I can't promise that this will happen for everyone, but my husband snores WAY less now, and when he does it's quieter/softer. It has to be the mattress because nothing else has changed recently! I already have trouble falling asleep, and his loud obnoxious snoring would always start right when I'm ready to finally fall asleep, but not anymore!
