I couldnt have made a better decision. This is the first bed I have ever purchased. I was an athlete and work over 60hrs a week so my body has been through and still goes through so much everyday. My bed choice is crucial to a great performance. I fall asleep quickly and wake up feeling rejuvenated and relaxed!

First let me say to take this review in the spirit it is intended... a perspective given a unique situation. I purchased my purple bed primarily because I needed one that lifted at both ends because I came out of hospital and the purple option seemed the best bang for the buck. Now that I am doing better and I sleep primarily flat, I am finding that I still have some pressure points that I would not have expected. They are minimal and I am not sure if they are to do with my injuries. The jury is still out. It is far and a way better than my old bed which was a coil/spring mattress. I may try a pure memory foam mattress to see if it is better than the purple but if you are looking for comfort over and above a coil/spring mattress and the memory foam beds are out of the price range... the purple is a great option. Take them up on the 90 day trial and dont hesitate if you get three months out and decide you dont like it. Sleep is an important part of our lives but it is never given the thought and investment it should get given how much of our time is spent in it. Sleep is too important not to consider a bed an investment. Take your time and find the right mattress for you. Purple is a great option and probably one of the better ones but it is not the only one. The folks at purple... sorry that I am not 100% extoling the virtues of purple... I am just trying to be fair and honest.

This is simple... I would wake up with back pain and wake up every few hours. Unable to sleep all night. I got this mattres after lots of research. I am happy to report that I am able to sleep all night, I wake up refreshed and look forward to my bed every night since I know I can now sleep

I have Scoliosis and have had back surgery. I've tried many other mattresses in past and always woke up with back pain. I've seen alot on the purple mattress and figured I'd give it a try and wow the first night I slept on the purple mattress I woke up with no back pain what so ever I couldnt believe it it's been 20 years since that's happen. All I can say is it's the best mattress I've ever slept on and will definitely buy another one after this one. Thank you so much purple best purchase I've ever made.

I believe it's a keeper....the first week was disappointing but like every mattress we have had that seems to be the case. We had a memory foam mattress and decided to try this because our current mattress seemed a little to soft. Now a month later we are sleeping like babies the entire night, no more waking up in the middle of the night. Even our fit it's agree!

I will admit, the first week--I was considering returning the mattress. I still woke up with back pain, etc. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I realized after about a week and a half that I now wake up feeling refreshed and have ZERO back pain. I bought the baseline mattress due to financial restrictions in this Covid-19 reality. Also-wasn't thrilled with the purple sheets at first either, but they warm and cool perfectly for me, and they are extremely soft. I'm 100% satisfied my purchase. Please note-the mattress is VERY heavy....the reviews are accurate. Have help getting the bag inside from delivery and setting it up and/or moving it.

The mattress is very nice, it just took me a few nights to get used to the texture of the elastic polymer. I like the level of support and firmness. That said, I don't care at all for the feel of the Purple mattress protector that was included with my purchase as it makes the bed surface feel slippery and "plasticy" like a cheap hotel mattress. The surface of the actual mattress was very soft, so it's disappointing that the protector takes away from that quality. If not for the protector I'd probably give the bed a Excellent overall rating.

We were in the market for a new mattress, and happen to mention it to my sister and BIL...and they told us about Purple, so we watched the videos and thought we would give it a try...especially when they guaranteed money back (with no questions)...and had a great set up with giving the mattress to someone in need if we decided we didn't want it. Sorry to say, we LOVE IT...and we are keeping it!! It met all of our requirements...firm, yet soft...provided instant relief of hip and/or shoulder issues (we are side sleepers) and it keeps me cool! Take a chance and get this now!!

The first week or so was AMAZING. My husband and I were so happy with our purchase. BUT... now it seems like my side sags where I lay. My hips, and back have hurt the last couple of days after I wake up. Which, is really discouraging considering what we are spending on this bed. :( I'm going to sleep in a different bed soon to see if I can actual feel a difference and decide whether or not keep the purple or what.

We decided to invest in the original Purple knowing that a traditional mattress with boxspring was not providing us any level of comfort any more. My husband and I both have multiple areas of arthritis and were sick and tired - literally - of waking up every morning sore. In fact, my husband would often be up after only 4-5 hrs of sleep because he just wasn't comfortable in bed. With the Purple mattress, by day 2, he was and still is sleeping comfortably about 7-8 hrs a night now. And my hip joint pain and neck pain which were always aggravated after a night's sleep are pretty much none existent in the morning now. We have a bedframe that was not going to work with the Purple base, so we bought the Zinus 5" high bunkie board. The slats are 3" wide and about 3" apart which fit the specs. We will definitely be keeping the bed; it has made a clear difference for us. BTW we ordered the sheets as our freebie - kind of a weird texture - they almost feel like pantyhose almost. But they are comfortable and don't get too cold or too hot.
