I enjoy the comfort and softness, but it's more work than it's worth. It is soooo heavy, like a ton of bricks. I had to get a friend to help bring it upstairs and set it up. And even though he and I are both strong, it was so hard. I struggle to even change the sheets. Also, it's pretty thin, and you definitely need a box frame, so that it's not so flat. I wanted a higher mattress, without needing the box frame. I have a supportive base for it, so I want a stand alone mattress. As for comfort, it is comfortable, but I can't say it does wonders for my back. Sometimes I wake up feeling sore on it.

I used to have so much trouble falling asleep and staying asleep; however, after purchasing The Purple Mattress, I sleep sound, wake refreshed, and feel better all day long! The mattress is on the firm side, but is seriously way more comfortable than I was expecting.

I recently purchased a Twin XL Purple mattress, after several years on a Select Comfort, and a standard coil mattress. I have a history of back problems. After sleeping on my Purple for about 3 weeks, I have noticed a reduction in stiffness and pain after getting up in the morning. I am sleeping longer in between waking up in the night, and I feel more rested. I love my new Purple mattress.

I've had it but a week and while it was quite a workout to get it upstairs by myself, once in place it is heavenly. I find I sleep more soundly, move less and do not fell my partner moving about either. I got just the mattress and put it on my existing platform. I don't see the need for "stretchy" sheets. Thank you for making this fantastic bed.

I love our new Purple bed. It's flippin cozy! Even though it's rated as "firm" it's actually quite soft! I love the Purple support so much that I wish I could order it twice as thick!!! (hint hint... pssst, send me one and I'd be willing to try it out. You know, if I had to... I guess I'd take one for the team.... (-; ) Thanks for being brilliant and such!

Overall the purple plus mattress I has been great after 3 months of using it. Have been trying different types of mattresses over the years and no doubt this mattress gives me the best sleep with the best alignment, so I get minimal neck/back pains as I did with other mattresses. As a person that sleeps hot, it's also great that it is breathable given it's technology. A couple downsides 1) bed sheets never stay in put because the j fabric is just slippery 2) since my partner is much heavier than me, my side ends up drooping in the middle. Though it doesn't seem to affect my sleep and 3) the mattress has severely peeled after only using it for 3 months

I am usually am a side sleeper on hard mattresses. I was skeptical about getting the purple as it wouldn't be hard enough. Sleeping on this mattress was a dream! We sleep through the night now and wake up completely refreshed! My back pain is 99% gone because of the purple. I also notice that we don't toss and turn much at all. It is the most cmfortable thing we've ever laid our heads on! We can't wait to get home every day and go to bed! We can't imagine our lives without the purple anymore. There's nothing like it! My wife and I really took our time selecting our new mattress, and got over the hesitation of choosing an "online mattress" that we couldn't try out first. We selected the Purple and waited with eager anticipation for its arrival. Unfortunately, despite how it feels to the touch (nice and spongy soft), when sleeping on it we found it too firm to be comfortable. We gave it a full two weeks trial, and our sleep was pretty miserable. I loved the cool temperature, but otherwise it couldn't work for us and we had to return. Customer Service was a little tough to deal with, but we were able to work through it and get the mattress picked up and refund issued.

I've had issues with my back that have been building over time. Our old mattress had gotten to a point I could really no longer sleep on it. I was regularly sleeping on the couch or anywhere that was comfortable. At several points I was sleeping on the floor on a rug as it was the best place I could find relief to sleep for a few hours. We bought a matress from a new company. It was fine for my back, but it wasn't the most comfortable. I could at least sleep in a bed again. But due to major issues with the furniture that was sold with the mattress, everything including the mattress was eventually returned. This was a blessing in disguise. We needed to find a new mattress quickly, and some friends recommended the purple mattress. Given the great trial period and return policy, we gave it a shot. So glad we did. As a side sleeper, I find the bed incredibly comfortable. And even better, my back issues have mostly gone away save for the occasional flare up unreleated to sleeping. I'm getting better sleep than I've gotten in a long time. So happy we purchased. As long as they keep making them this way, I'll keep buying.

I have three ruptured discs and a spinal fracture and I haven't been able to wake up feeling rested in years. I would find myself dragging myself out of bed no matter how much sleep I got. I feel like this is the first mattress that I can wake up and actually get out of bed because I am actually rested. Came back and bought the seat cushion for work as well :)
