The bed itself is quality. Very high quality, however for me, it is very firm. I don't like firm. I like soft. very soft. I may need to get me a pillow topper just to soften it up a bit. The bed is extremely heavy, it took 3 people to move it and get it to my room for set up.

We love the bed - 100% amazingly better sleep. BUT, I was horrified with the amount of plastic and non-recyclable material that was used in the shipping process. In this day and age I hope you consider a more sustainable method to wrapping and shipping your beds. Additionally, do you offer a recycling / upcycling of your beds once they need replacing?

I've suffered lower back pain for some time, which caused me to not be able to sleep on our old mattress for about 2 months. After getting purple the first three weeks I woke up with back pain. I was a little disappointed but knew from reading other reviews that it was not uncommon for your body to have to adjust. I finally switched sides with my wife and immediately my pain ceased. I've been waking up with no pain for about a week now. I have no idea why switching sides helped but it did (it might be because it's setting on our old box spring). My wife loved it immediately and had great results.

When I laid on my Purple Mattress for the first time a wave of euphoria rolled through me and soon I found happy tears coming from my eyes from my body's pure bliss of having such a heavenly almost weightless experience delivered to me from my beautiful, worth every penny and more Purple Mattress.

We were really excited about the mattress and then when we unrolled it, we were somewhat dissapointed it wasn't thicker. There also an area that was sunken in. The way we set up the mattress the uneven part was at the head of the bed so we didn't notice it as much anymore be it's where we put our pillows.

I was expecting this to be somewhat of a sleep changer. When I unrolled the mattress initially, I felt one side was softer that the other, and after less than a month, I can already tell which side I sleep on as there is an 'imprint' forming. I hope it doesn't get more noticeable or I will have to return before my 100 days. Outside of that, the mattress is very comfortable and spot on firmness for my sleep style.

We've had our Purple bed for over 30 days and love it. The only down side has been we don't want to get out of bed in the morning. I've noticed a huge reduction in my lower back pain and in fact wake up with little to no back pain anymore. The bed is so comfortable that I've noticed I'm even sleeping in positions I haven't been able to sleep in for years. Since we've been singing it's praises to friends and family we've had to make time for them to come over and try it out. We also own two Purple seat cushions and use them on a daily basis and love them. Thanks Purple!

When I first saw the ad for the Purple mattress (with "The Egg Test"), I got pretty excited. I said to myself, "I need that mattress!". I thought it looked like really smart technology, and I was convinced it would be exactly what I needed. But alas, I was wrong. You see, I have a dislocated Sternoclavicular Joint (that's where your collarbone meets your sternum), from an old ski injury. My collarbone pops in and out of socket depending on how I move my arm (don't worry, it doesn't hurt). Unfortunately, I can't sleep on my side as a result. If I sleep on my side, that joint will ache from the pressure. When I saw the ad for your mattress, I thought "Finally! I'll be able to sleep on my side again!" Fast forward to last month when I finally ordered a mattress (after a couple years since first seeing the ad), when I discovered that my hope of sleeping on my (right) side again will go unfulfilled. The Purple mattress does not absorb my body weight (150lbs.) enough to relieve the pressure on my SCJ so I can lay on that side. Needless to say, I was disappointed. However, I do like the mattress and still think it is very good technology. The grid does absorb your body and provide better support than standard mattresses, but it is definitely not as god as they portray it in their ads. I think it would be better if the grid were deeper (which I guess is the case with the more expensive models?). Basically, I would like it much better if I sank into the grid a little more... when I lay on the mattress, I can feel the grid absorb parts of my body (my butt, for example), but not much else. I don't really sink into the mattress very much, but feel like I am laying on top of it, which makes it feel like a fairly firm mattress overall.

Had the bed foe 30 nights so far, most amazing sleep I've ever had. Only issue I've had so far is that the frame squeaks even though it claims to be squeakless. I've checked and double checked even triple checked to make sure I put it together right and tightened everything down again and the issue still persists, but overall much better than your box frames that break.

I needed a replacement mattress and decided to bundle for their frame. I do recommend getting their frame as it is very simple to set up (just need to screw in about 4 bolts, that's it), it has good height for storing personal goods underneight, and is quiet. The mattress doesn't get hot at all, even when my partner sleeps with me and is very comfortable and quiet. The setup was quick and the mattress truly was ready within minutes of unpackaging. The package itself when it was delivered was filthy from the truck, which is kind of upsetting, but it didn't hinder the process or affect the quality of the actual product, so I didn't care too much. My only recommendation is to add wheels to the frame. If I want to shift my bed, it is VERY difficult compared to frames with little wheels. I'm 23 and workout considerably and still find I have to put in a bit of technique and strength to move the frame with the mattress on it. Overall, very satisfied with the mattress. I'm not sure how the price compares as I haven't bought too many beds in my life, but It was worth the money so far and i've had it for a few weeks now.
