Still on the fence about keeping this mattress. It is just not what I expected. I watched tons of YouTube videos and read all the rave reviews. The one thing nobody mentions is how it feels to lay on it. By no means is it uncomfortable, but the way it's designed to contour to your body for maximum support, it misses giving you that soft bed feeling. I was expecting to feel like I was laying on a high end resort bed, a bed I don't ever want to get out of. The purple mattress doesn't make me feel that way. I am sleeping cooler on the purple mattress. The bed is not cold, it just does a great job at dispersing the heat. The packaging the bed comes in is fantastic, but I do have gripe. Why isn't the mattress flipped, then rolled up, at the factory. The way it's rolled up, you have to flip it over once it's unrolled, which is no easy task since the bed is flexible and heavy. I had pretty high expectations for this mattress. I'm just not sure it meets those.

Really wanted to like it but the mattress was not for us. First, it's way too thin. My husband 6'5 230lbs bottoms out when he sits down on the mattress. For me 5'6 and 150lbs the mattress is too firm. You sleep on top of it, there is no big or sink in feeling. We are in the process of returning and will be going back to memory foam.

Used for about 30 days, no obvious complaints. We dont notice the material like many other reviwers said. I like the support/firmness/lifting feel it gives. Hard to describe. I dont seem to notice heat, but for those worried its cold, its not. It just doesnt warm up which is great for me. No issues with motion transfer from spouse. Will update if anything changes but so far seems to be a hit.

I was unsure at first when I first bought the purple mattress because it feels so different. But after a few weeks I realized that this is how I should have been sleeping my whole life. I get shoulder pain from sleeping on my side, which makes me sore as well as and toss and turn. I've always slept on a soft mattress because of this, but then my back hurts from the lack of support. The purple legitimately takes away all the pain and pressure. I love this bed so much, I hate sleeping away from home, even on other "quality" mattresses. I tell everyone about how much I love this bed because people need to know what they're missing. Thank you Purple for changing the way I feel every morning.

I have NEVER invested in a mattress. I am 40, and I was so tired of waking up stiff and sore. I decided it was time that I invested in feeling better and sleeping better. I knew mattresses could be expensive, but i made up my mind I was going to take the plunge. Fortunately, due to covid, I was able to take a different approach, I called and made an appointment with a local mattress retailer, i asked him to turn over, or hide all the prices before i got there. (I didn't want to make a decision based on cost) I laid on EVERY bed in the store and bought the one most comfortable. I came home with a King size Purple 3. I can not say enough good things about this mattress, I sleep better, feel better, wake up refreshed and ready for the day for the first time in 15 years. And, best of all, it was NOWHERE near the most expensive one in the store. Thank you Purple for such an amazing product, Highly recommend to all

I had been researching and thinking about this mattress for almost a year. Finally I pulled the pin and ordered it. King size. It took about 2 weeks due to back orders which was fine with me. Customer service was excellent when I inqired about when I would be shipped. We purchased stretchy sheets like it was recommended to use. Then I received the mattress and was initially thrilled but... After about 3 weeks since we received it ,we seem to be sleeping ok on it. BUT the mattress isn't doing what I had built it up in my mind as being. It is a great material for the top layer (the purple) but the 2 layers of memory foam under that are stiff. So overall.. while I like the mattress I am thinking that it is just too firm for us. I was expecting to sink deeply into the bed AND be supported.. just doesn't seem to be doing that. I am considering returning the mattress.

I got my first purple in 2017 and I loved it. I had to reach out to customer service because my wife's side of the bed started to sag. Customer service was absolutely outstanding and replaced my mattress 100% free. I mean 100% free. I didn't have to pay shipping and handling or anything. I was extremely happy about that because I am quite greedy. Since receiving the new mattress, I have slept even better than I did before. My wife said that her side is still extremely comfortable. There is no sagging. I genuinely love this mattress. I got a king size and it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned in my life.

My wife had back surgery a couple years ago which helped her a lot, but it still gives her problems and has been getting worse to the point that we needed a new mattress. Purple Mattress has helped her back pain, but now we both wake up with soreness. It just doesn't seem as comfortable as we were expecting. We are going to give it a chance to see if we get used to it, but may end up trying to find one that's work better for us.

My girlfriend and I were very excited to order our new Purple mattress but we were skeptical because this has been our third new mattress in the last six years. We both have back issues and our previous mattresses caused us a lot of back pain and misery. We researched the Purple mattress and were hopeful that the reviews we read were accurate. After receiving the mattress two weeks ago we have been very happy with the results so far. Both of us used to toss and turn all night and woke up feeling like hadn't slept a wink. We both seem to be sleeping more throughout the night and are mostly pain free. Thank you for a great product! We would recommend this mattress to everyone.

Was a huge upgrade from what I used to sleep on. Comfortable. Took a few days to adjust to it. If the premium versions were in this smaller size I would of probably tried it out. Likely to buy a premium version later down the road when I move to a place with more space.
