Who knew science could be so comfortable. This was the first mattress I've owned that costs more than $250, so my inexperience may make me a bit biased. That being said, I can't remember falling asleep last night, or the night before, or since I've had my Purple mattress honestly. I lay down, get into a comfortable position, and before I know it my alarm is going off for me to wake up the next morning. It's as if I doze off before my mind can comprehend that I'm actually sleeping. I don't know how to describe it honestly except for it's the most amazing sleep I've ever had. The mattress is a pain to move around due to the lack of internal springs/structure but if that's what it costs to sleep like a king in a queen sized bed I'll take it.

This has to be the most comfortable bed I have ever owned. I was a bit nervous about it, but after the first night, I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. I contacted their customer support on many questions before ordering and after. Every time I contacted or had a concern, it was handled with some of the most amazing support team members I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I mostly sleep on my side, and this bed is great for that. However, I never slept on my back and enjoyed it until this bed. Thank you!!!!

I am a fibromyalgia sufferer so it's very important to avoid a mattress that causes pain with pressure points. I have had this mattress for about a month and am happy to report that the Purple Mattress has been a great solution. I no longer sleep with a body pillow because this mattress makes it unnecessary.

My old mattress was VERY old, and I would spend every night tossing and turning. I'd wake up over and over again to try to find a comfortable position. I'd wake up feeling achy. I had researched beds for over a year before buying the Purple bed. I bought the original mattress, the pillow, and the sheets. I've had it now for about a month, and I am sleeping through every night. I used to be a side sleeper with my tossing and turning, but now I find that I am sleeping soundly on my back, barely moving, and waking up refreshed and without aches. I'm VERY happy with my new bed. (On a side note, I've read some reviews that speak about an odor. I just wanted to mention that nothing that I bought had an odor. I slept on it on the first night that I unpacked it all, and I didn't detect any foul odor.)

I'm not going to say that I immediately slept better (even though I did) because that would be cliche. I'm not going to say that for the past several years I've not been able to sleep on my left side due to joint issues and the first night on my new Purple mattress I was able to sleep on that side (even though I could). I'm not going to say that the creaky, old woman (and man for my husband) feeling went away after just one night on the new mattress (even though it did). I'm not going to say that the morning after my first night on the mattress, I didn't have any back pain for the first time in a decade (even though I didn't). I'm not going to say that we really appreciate finding out about Purple from commercials played between Studio C shows (even though we do). I'm just going to say that Purple is very comfy.

I was a skeptic when my husband ordered the purple bed. I literally rolled my eyes and said you are going to get ripped off. But for the first time in our marriage I was wrong and he was right this bed is amazing it's the best purchase we've made in years! I sleep like a baby and wake up with no pain and I'm so happy that he ordered this bed!

So happy with this mattress. I spent hours in The Sleep Number store and couldn't tell the difference between their mattresses. They don't have a trial period like purple where you can return the mattress if you don't like it. And if you decide to return it there is a fee PLUS you have to pack it up yourself and pay for shipping. BUT If you don't like your PURPLE mattress you choose a charity and PURPLE arranges for pickup. No fee/no shipping charges. No risk if you don't like the mattress! I thought I would have back pain forever. It is gone! (With the help of the adjustable base- also amazing) I love this mattress!!

Took the mattress almost a month to arrive and was out for delivery for almost two weeks (Thanks FedEx). When the mattress finally arrived, it is the most uncomfortable mattress ever. I don't u errata do the hype. Definitely not worth the money I paid for it.

We purchased this mattress because I had been having really bad sciatic nerve pain and could not get any sleep! Finally I've been able to sleep better! lately though I have been waking up with bad shoulder and neck pain and we are really thinking about trying the purple pillows BUT due to the price and reviews we are a little hesitant.

We bought the purple bed and the platform base. The platform base is super easy to setup. For the first few days the platform base was quiet and held up to what "purple" advertised it would do. Week 2 and the platform base squeaks with any movement on the bed any turning and platform squeaks. It's annoying now and makes the whole experience of the purple bed not enjoyable. Too make things worse it says that the platform base has no returns, maybe we just got a defective one because I have seen raving reviews on the platform base.
