It's a mattress. It hasn't changed my life much. It's nice and all but it's not the life changing experience that it's hyped up to be. Get with me in 5 years or so when I know how it's going to hold up and I can tell you more. I like that I'll never have springs poking me in the ribs but that's all I can really say.

I haven't had my mattress for 21 days yet, but I will be returning it. I am sad because I really, really wanted to like this mattress. But I am a petite side sleeper (120 lbs) and it just isn't soft enough for me. It feels like sleeping on a 6 foot long Dr. Scholl's shoe insole on top of a piece of plywood. I tried stretchy sheets and everything.

Bought the purple mattress after talking to a friend that had a sleep number then switched. I had tried a foam mattress yrs ago and wasn't sure what to get. Read up on the purple mattress and bought it. As soon as I layed down on it I knew it was different. I built a box on my bed frame to replace the box spring and raise the mattress. It is awesome. No bounce like Springs, very comfortable. Some of my joint pains have gone away.

After 4 weeks sleeping on our King Purple Mattress, my wife and I LOVE it! Both of us have dealt with sleep issues and some back pain and stiffness for many years now and had tried a couple of different brand name mattresses (innerspring and hybrid). We were never completely satisfied. In a month we have both experienced amazing nights of sleep. Love the mattress! Can't wait to get a pillow.

My wife and I are different sizes. I'm 250 and she's 125. We bought the mattress mostly on the premise that it was cooling, doesn't transfer motion from each partner and has good support. For each of us, the mattress is too hard. We have stretchy sheets, but I'm afraid that it just hasn't been a great experience. Given that we spend 1/3 of our life on a mattress, that's what I'm looking for. After nearly 100 nights, we'll be returning the mattress. Thanks for the trial and making it so easy to return. At first the mattress was pretty firm and the first few nights were kind of difficult. I felt sore and stiff in the mornings due to my body adjusting. Feels better now after 3 weeks of sleeping on it. It's not as cool as some suggest but not as hot as other mattresses. Would definitely recommend for those who like firm mattresses.

We've had our Purple King for 6 months now. It's certainly better than our old spring mattress was. We like the cushy feel of the elasti-polymer top and the cool temperature. It is very comfortable. The mattress overall is fine as far as support goes. At first it caused my husband some discomfort. Now he only has a bit of stiffness when waking up. I slept fine for the first month (when I could sleep, with a bad cold). I have experienced lower back pain since then if I don't use a wedge pillow, or if I sleep on my side. I've had to become a back sleeper because I can't seem to get my hips positioned right no matter what I try... sheets, pillows, etc. I may have also possibly hurt my back trying to move the mattress around by myself... Get help to move it! While I personally couldn't say that I love our Purple, I don't hate it either. :)

Really heavy mattress. Pillow also is really heavy. Over all so far so good. That's it. I wish they would have sent me the sheet as well. That would be nice seeing that other sheets are tight and don't allow the maximum comfort of the mattress due to the sheet being so tight. Pillow does have a little weird smell as well but seems to comfortable.

I had been having trouble getting comfortable as a side/stomach sleeper, and would often feel discomfort in my back and hips throughout the day. With the purple mattress, I still don't wake up magically alert and feel like birds are singing to me as I am naturally not a morning person, but I do feel like it is easier to get out of bed, and to get comfortable at night. I also can fall asleep on my back, which I've never been able to do before. Hopefully this bed continues to give the same kind of support throughout the next several years. So far, so great!

I have to admit I am a bed snob. As my husband likes to remind me, he can sleep anywhere and be fine, I am the picky one. I hate waking up with a back ache and I have for most of my adult life. I've had many types of beds and some days/nights are better then others. So, when we needed a new bed we bought the purple bed. My thoughts.... the purple bed does sleep cool which is huge for my pre-menopausal night sweats. There is a transition period which I just don't understand, but as time has gone by I am more pleased with our purchase. I read several reviews that talked about shoulders going numb. I also experienced that as well. However, it has seemed to stop. I hope it doesn't return as it was a very strange sensation and not one I have experienced before. All in all I am very happy with this bed. But it has only been a month. Give me the full 100 days before I completely jump on the band wagon.
