I was dubious, but after reading loads of reviews and comparison shopping I finally purchased the Purple mattress. I went with the older style King mattress as I had a tight budget in mind. I also purchased the frame since the one we had was pretty shoddy and it was supporting box springs as well. When it arrived we struggled to get it into the house because it is HEAVY. Very very heavy. Be ready to have another person or two to help out. However, it unfurled on the frame pretty quickly and had no odor whatsoever. We laid down for bed that night and I was out like a light within minutes. I've had some really solid nights sleep and I wake up more refreshed and with no lower back or hip pain. However, the real miracle is for my partner. He typically tosses, turns, flips,flops and sleeps in 1 hour intervals due to chronic pain throughout his body. He wakes up and stays awake for sometimes hours at a time. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that this mattress has given him more restful nights of sleep over the past month than he has had in an entire year. More often than not he sleeps through the night and wakes up with fewer aches and pains. On the nights where he does still toss and turn, it's made the energy transfer much more minimal and i can typically sleep right through his flopping around. Best purchase I've made in years and i'm pretty sure it's going to save our relationship. My only tiny complaint is that I wish the mattress were thicker. On occasion if i plop down hard i can feel the bedframe for a moment underneath the mattress. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

I bought a queen Purple 3 years ago and loved it! No more waking up with numb hands and arms. This year, I decided to get an adjustable king for my other room. After extensive research on other mattresses, I thought - "why are you even considering anything but Purple...you know you love that one" - so I bought my split king Purple mattresses and love my new bed just as much as the other one.

We are not extremely impressed with the bed. It took about 3 months to get the bed frame so we just had the mattress on the floor until then. It's a more comfortable bed then our last one but it is not the most comfortable one either. It has helped some with the back pain that the last bed caused but doesn't seem to give that really good night rest you are looking for. For the price we will give it a bit and see how it goes.

we're coming off a significantly more expensive, firmer traditional mattress. the purple design does seem revolutionary -- it feels too mushy when you push on it, because it's collapsing by design under focused pressure points. however, the material actually holds up surprisingly well when you lay down and distribute your weight. my wife is a side sleeper, and you can see the way the mattress nestles her evenly, dipping under her hips and arm/shoulder, while keeping her spine aligned. as a stomach sleeper, i feel like i'm floating on the mattress, with less pressure against my face. pretty amazing technology. my only caveat is that we are relatively light, and i'm not sure how this mattress works under heavier loads. and my only remaining concern is how well the material holds up over time.

I had the best nights sleep the very first night I set the mattress up. For the first time in such a long time I woke up without being sore from the springs of my previous mattresses. And the coolness of mattress is amazing. The over all experience of sleeping on this mattress turned out so much better than I ever expected. I also got a set of the free sheets and those are amazingly soft it just all pairs well together.

The mattress is very firm and supportive, but yet so comfortable as well. The pillows were heavier than we were used to but we love them too. The sheets are super soft and stretchy. This mattress/pillows/sheets are the definition of a good nights sleep!

This is the best mattress I've ever slept on! I went from an inner spring (which was terrible) to a pillow top (it was alright, but not the greatest) to a memory foam (which I hated). Then I decided to try purple. It's been great so far! I am on my feet the majority of the day and am a very active person. Between work, working out, and other miscellaneous activities I enjoy my body takes a solid beating. Other mattresses never relieved my body pain (yoga helped, but was not enough on its own). Purple has helped relieve a lot of that pain. I wake up with no pain in my back or legs. It's absolutely fantastic! I would suggest this mattress to anyone who lives an active lifestyle!

Totally do it again!! It was simple , no stores to go to and lay down and trying out the same mattress over and over again! I had low back pain and one week after sleeping on my purple mattress it was gone, no joke, wish I had found this product years ago!! So simple when it comes to your door, bring it in and unroll it and let it go!! Best sleep ever!

I purchased a Purple 3. I didn't like it. I returned it. No problem. I then purchased a Purple 2 separately. I had two credit card transactions instead of getting a partial refund. I had to front the money for both. I had two order numbers. I waited 2 weeks for delivery and they delivered another purple 3 instead of a 2. Had to refuse delivery. When I finally got my Purple 2, it was better but still did not provide the support I needed and I woke up with extreme back pain compared to any other mattress I've owned. Purple WILL NOT honor the 100 night trial. They say I did an exchange, but I didn't. They say when someone exchanges a mattress you have to keep the second one regardless. They didn't tell me this information when I ordered the second one because it WASN'T an exchange! They have flat out refused to take back my Purple 2. Now I am forced to keep a bed I don't want or like, and Purple won't take my side on this, they only believe what their computer tells them. They said they'd lose money if they took back my mattress, but that's not my fault. Play on words, discretion of policy, Purple does their own thing. Mattress may be OK for some, but service is horrible and overrated. NOT HAPPY.

I decided to go with Purple, not only because my sister had one but, because my mom had a mattress from one of those other "bed in a box" companies; and she regretted it! When my husband and I started sleeping on our Purple, we both had daily pains. Him with his sore shoulders, and me with pain in my lower back and hips. Not even a whole month later and we both can see a dramatic difference. I don't wake up stiff or with any pain. I am forever thankful for my Purple!
