A year ago I bought an expensive posturepedic mattress as I have a lot of trouble sleeping due to back problems. I tried several as I hoped to reduce the amount of pain I would wake up to regularly. Unfortunately, it did not solve my interrupted sleep problem. I would roll over constantly because the mattress put pressure on different areas of my back creating a lot of discomfort. A friend of mine had shown me an ad for Purple several years earlier. We both agreed it looked great, but were uncertain about making the purchase as neither of us knew anyone who had the mattress. I was hurting so much each night and could feel the spots my current mattress was pressing hard against me, that I decided to give it a try. With the guarantee, I really had nothing to lose. I felt it would be worth trying if only to feel less pain and pressure So I could get closer to having uninterrupted sleep. I purchased the mattress, platform, and stretchy bamboo sheets and waited. The sheets came in first, making me very happy as they would be here when the mattress came in. The mattress came in shortly after. I was okay that the platform was coming in later as I set it up as I planned on my old box spring base. I got a delivery notification in an email and left work for an hour to set it up. I was very hopeful and kind of excited to see if it would really help. I tried to keep my expectations down as I know you need to try out a bed for about a month or so to really see if it is right for you. That first night was amazing. I don't even remember falling asleep, and didn't wake up during the night either. I slept through the night for the first time since longer than I can remember. I woke up stiff, but expected that as I do a lot of physical work, but there was no pain. It was the first time in many years I can remember waking up without pain. I couldn't believe it. I called my friend and told him how great it was. I called my mom and my sister and told them as well. I knew it was too early to be fully convinced that this mattress would really be the answer I was looking for, but at least I had hope. I've been sleeping on the mattress for a month now and every night is as good as the first one. I have slept up to eight hours in a night and that has not happened in as far back as I can remember. I can't say if this mattress will do for you what it has done for me, but it really has become the answer I was looking for when it comes to a good nights sleep. My husband and I bought the purple as our first bed and it changed our lives!!! It honestly feels like we're floating! I can't wait for the mattress protector to restock, to protect it from our mischievous puppy that might love it a little more than us!!! We love our bed, never buying any other brand of mattress in our lifetime!

My husband and I had just bought a house and knew we would now need to buy a bed (we had been living in furnished apartments up until now). We kept hearing about Purple and figured we would give it a try! We loved that there was a guarantee if for some reason we didn't like it. After sleeping on it for about a week we can honestly say it's the best mattress ever!! The most comfortable sleep we've both had in a while!

I'm enjoying my new mattress though my partner thinks it's a bit cold for her. I got a mattress pad as well but she also puts a blanket beneath our flannel sheets. I was disappointed that the mattress was delivered to the wrong house with a similar address on the same street but I was given a credit for the mattress pad as compensation for what happened.

This is seriously the most comfortable mattress I've ever had. I typically would wake up several times in the middle of the night, but not with the Purple. It really is the perfect combination of soft and firm. I always liked a firm mattress for the back support, but the memory foam was so hot and not very comfortable. Soft mattresses would give me back pain. I have no issues anymore with my Purple. I have already ordered the pillows and can't wait for them to be delivered! I will probably be ordering the seat cushion in the near future as well. My only complaint is the shipping times are very long right now. It makes sense with the product being so well-made and demand increasing, but it is so worth the wait.

I have owned my purple for over 30 days and there is no looking back. My back feels amazing and waking up finally feeling like I got rest. I will say I was nervous purchasing a bed that marks 6-6.5 out of 10 for firmness but the top purple layer makes a world of a difference. My only complaint would be that my previously purchased pillows do not suite this bed as well as I thought they would have.

After years of back problems and restless sleep, I finally went for it and bought a Purple. I can honestly say I'm never looking back. The only downside is I can't take quick naps because I sleep so deeply... seriously it's like a cloud of pure comfort.

I sleep the best on my side. My old mattress I slept for around hour before waking up to shoulder and hip pain. With my new purple I'm able to sleep for 2-3 hours at time before waking up and having to reposition. Made a big difference on my work days.

It was so fun to unwrap. After we got it situated on the frame I put on our non stretchy, 100% cotton regular sheets. I will confess that I had been busy and didn't get to the store (Ross) to look for jersey knit sheets. They don't always have them so I should have started checking the store for them months ago. That night I was a little dissapointed. While it was a great bed, much better than our 16 year old, cratered, sagging mattress, I was a little underwhelmed. I know they really reccomend getting stretchy sheets so I wasn't going to give up until I had tried stretchy sheets. Off to Ross I went. I was prepared to go back every week until I got some. As luck would have it, or maybe it was answered prayers, they had two queen sets of jersey knit sheets. That evening, with new sheets on the bed, I was hoping for the best --- and IT WAS!! I was so cool and comfortable. It is amazing what a difference the sheets make!! It was a great bed before but the sheets really bring out its full potential. Thanks for such a great product!! I will definitely purchase from Purple again.

We knew the bed would be good but had no idea. myself I haven't slept more than four to five hours a night in many years. the first night I slept on the bed I slept for 7 hours the very next night I slept on the bed I for 11 hours slept so hard now my wife and I both look so forward to going to bed because we know we will get a full night's rest. And I can say this honestly to the bed is better for more than just sleeping!;-)
