My husband and I both weigh under 130 each and so I am assuming this is why the mattress feels so stiff. Like one step softer than cement. My husband says he wakes up without aches and pains but I have consistently felt stiffer upon waking. This is definitely not the bed to buy for someone who wants a soft mattress.

I have only had the bed a couple days but I no longer wake up with lower back pain. I bought the king size mattress, the frame, and the mattress protector. I fall asleep instantly. I live in California so we get hot days and nights. I feel cooler at night and when I am working graveyard when I sleep during the day I feel just as cool. The frame and mattress have been good so far and I am positive that this type of quality will carry over to the mattress protector. My girlfriend even loves it. I will be ordering the pillows this week because of the comfort and quality I got from the mattress. Good product for the blue colored man where a good night sleep matters. Good job guys.

This is by far the best mattress I have ever owned. I did not realize just how good the mattress was until I went to the in-laws house and slept on their spare mattress for the night. Compared to the purple mattress it was awful. My sleep was definitely not as good. Plus feeling the squares is kind of cool and entertaining to just poke at.

I am very happy with my purchase of the purple mattress. I used to get really hot while I slept and I've been much more comfortable since I got this. I also noticed I am not moving around as much in my sleep and I feel well rested when I wake up. It's great! I also got the sheets from purple and the mattress protector. The sheets are amazing and so soft and comfortable. I recommend this brand to others!!

After in-depth research and reading reviews on various sites about the Purple mattress and other options, we decided to take the plunge and buy the Purple. Unfortunately, after sleeping on it for at least 3 months, this mattress is definitively much harder than I expected. Although it's supposed to mold and shape around my body, after a full-night's sleep I wake up feeling more like I slept on the floor than on a state-of-the-art mattress. We had to go buy a foam mattress topper in an attempt to alleviate some of the aches and pains of the Purple mattress, which essentially defeats the purpose. Bottom line: I kept thinking it would feel more comfortable, but I should have exercised the 100-day out clause.

I bought my first purple mattress in 2016 and have never looked back. I was so happy with my new mattress that I can't believe how poorly I've been sleeping. I'm happy to report that I've converted family and friends to the Purple Family. Thank you for making an amazing product. Don't skimp on your sleep. Invest in a better you, get you a Purple and change your life!

As the title says, the hype over these mattresses has kind of set an impossible expectation on them. It has had a subtle but still noticeable impact on back pain. Have to take down one star for how outlandishly heavy and difficult to move that sucker is. Took 4 people to get the king mattress up a staircase and set up. Totally worth the buy if you're settled in where you live.

The top of the mattress is too soft. My Wife has twisted her ankle and has a very sever sprain in her leg while moving on the bed. I am 220 lb and I have a shooting pain in my spine (like someone has hit me on one spot with his nuckles) its very bad for both of us. Would not recommend sorry.

It took us just two nights to fall in love with this mattress. I'll admit it is short, probably shorter than you are accustomed to if you and it looks and feels a little weird when you first lay down but the sleep you'll experience is amazing. After the first night my back was a little sore from adjusting but the second night everything just worked. I have been comatose for the last week and my back has literally never felt better. I'm kicking myself now for not trying it sooner... I highly recommend this bed. My mother, sister, and aunt were all in the market for new beds laid on mine five minutes and ordered their own! I selected side, stomach, and back sleeper because in my old Serta I moved constantly at night trying to get comfortable I am now a happy side sleeper who barely moves at all. Stop thinking about it I was skeptical too; buy a purple and your back will thank you.

Got the Mattress. Got the Pillows. Gonna buy the power base after next paycheck. They are weird, but while you're lying there thinking, "Huh, this is a little weir.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz." It's makes you sleep against your will. Do not lay on this mattress, especially with the pillows, unless you want to sleep.
