First time ever buying any mattress online rather than a store, so I was worried it was going to be another one of those hyped up products that were nothing like the advertisements. I was wrong! This mattress is comfortable!, i would always wake up with my lower back sore, but even my first night sleeping on it i woke up and there was no pain at all!. Ive watched tons of reviews on this mattress and they all would say it took them atleast a week before they got used to it. Took me one night! Ive had it for over a week now and theres no way id give up my mattress. I highly recommend getting one if you feel like its time for a new Bed Its worth checking it out, im glad I made the choice to buy one.

I have been doing research on this product, and after years of contemplating if I should purchase I finally did and I am obsessed. It is worth every penny. It did take a month for my body to adjust - but is expected when I had an awful mattress I slept on for years.

All the amazing things people have written are all true. After years of tossing and turning, of waking up with pains in my shoulders, my back, I've found the cure. This mattress is worth every penny. Tom Brady hasn't tried this one or he he wouldn't be backing the Sealy Black.

My wife and I decided to try the Purple mattress when they still had just one version. About a week after we bought ours they launched a new offering of 3 mattress types. A week later they cut this to 2, so I am not sure they are really convinced what they want! As with many couples we need a middle ground; I would be happy sleeping in a rock, my wife needs pressure point relief. So the purple mattress concepts attempts better than most to address both pressure point relief and support. My wife is extremely happy with the mattress; I remain shocked still every night, now nearly 3 weeks on, as to how soft it feels at first. I sleep primarily on my back, and I wake up feeling fine, so I presume I am getting the support needed in my back. But I can say honestly that I still find the feeling of the mattress crazy soft. But I love traveling to China just to sleep on their mattresses, which are like wooden boards, so maybe I am not the best one to ask for an opinion. Two other comments, our king sized mattress does not have handles, and that is a huge negative; admittedly it is not something you move often, but if you need to do it once, without handles, it is really hard (remember as Purple likes to point out - it weighs 145 pounds!); so add some common sense to all the engineering know-how guys! Secondly, when you unroll it, it is upside down...it weighs 145 pounds, it is roughly;y 7 feet by 7 feet, and has NO HANDLES; not so easy to flip it. Another common-sense shortcoming. In summary, I think the jury is still out. I am very concerned about long term (3 year plus) durability resilience. It is a comfortable sleep, but I am hardly blown away by it. Time will be the real test. I can tell you that both my wife and dog are far more enthusiastic though than I, so that's a good thing. Last advice, follow your competitors and launch a doggy bed too.

I'm trying very hard to love this mattress. I've read so many great reviews, so I'm not giving up. I know it's all about adjusting. I'm a side sleeper & the pain on my pressure points in my hips and shoulders are still there. I hope to return with a five star review. Ps: no to the freaky and super heavy pillows. Just no, don't buy them.

My girlfriend and I had just bought our first house together, and we needed a new bed. We researched and researched, and found that the Purple mattress was our best option. So we got the Purple Queen-sized mattress. It was the best sleep we've ever gotten, and years of back pain had simply disappeared! As years passed, we got a couple of dogs who love to cuddle in the bed. We knew we needed something bigger, but just weren't ready to drop the cash yet. Then our dog Champ was sprayed by a skunk...and we stupidly didn't purchase a mattress protector! Our beloved Purple bed was ruined, and we urgently needed to upgrade. We tried some other beds at the store, but nothing was like our Purple bed. So we bit the bullet, and purchased the King-sized original Purple mattress. Thank you to Purple we got free sheets for our new bed, and we also decided to spend that extra bit of cash for the mattress protector! Now we are about a month in to our new Purple bed, and we couldn't be more pleased. The mattress protector is working extremely well, and the sheets are the most comfortable I have ever felt in my life!!! Very stretchy and unbelievably soft. Whatever size bed you need, get a Purple. Spend that extra money for the mattress protector and sheets, and you'll never think to look back.

I was so Hoping the purple mattress would be the perfect mattress for me an my husband. The marketing for your mattress is awesome and I am sure it works well for a lot of people. Unfortunately, It doesn't seem to be working for us. My husband says he tosses and turns all night. I have neck problems from sleeping and it doesnt seem any better with the Purple. I do think it feels comfortble to lay on and wish it made my mattress dreams come true, but sadly it doesn't seem to be working:(

I have been needing a new bed for a while. On my old mattress I woke up every morning with lower back pain, so it came time to buy a new one. A good friend of mine owns a purple mattress and she and her boyfriend swear by it. I decided to give it a try, and I have to say this is the best purchase I could have made. No more back pain, I don't wake up in the middle of the night sweating, and it's so comfortable.

First off, I love my mattress. My son bought on a couple years ago and I was skeptical at first being all rolled up in a duffle bag. That all changed once I saw it come to life. After seeing his experience with it after 2 years I was sold. I was able to compare the original to a hybrid, I chose the original. I don't think my wife and I are big enough people to "break the plane". I'm very happy with the product, the process from ordering and shipping and the customer service. I couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I love the Purple mattress! I put a lot of research into something that would work for both of us. Site after site, I kept returning to Purple, and I'm so glad I did. My husband is always hot, but since we've gotten our mattress, he hasn't once complained about the heat! We both are sleeping like we did before we had children! Truly love this mattress!
