I have had my mattress for three weeks, and am experiencing more back pain than with my previous mattress. I am a side sleeper with a curvy figure - if the comfort level doesn't improve, I will have to return it. Surprisingly, I am also finding that it sleeps hot for me, even though I am using the Purple mattress cover and sheets.

Honestly, I'm still not sold that this is the mattress for me. It is firm, lacking in the softness it claims to have. I don't have as much pain as I did with my other mattress, but there's still some pain! I'm going to give it more time and see if it'll get better. Hopefully it will, or I'll be returning it!

I have been having major back pains when sleeping and read a lot of reviews about the purple bed. While my back pain has decreased, it's still there. I'm going to give the bed a bit longer to see what happens. I did have some hip joint pains a bit during the first week of sleeping on this new bed, but that has subsided and I've read that's normal while my body adjusts to the bed. So the verdict is still out, but I still have a good feeling about this purchase.

I order my purple matress and throw out my old one the day before i was suppose to recieve my order. All to then find out that my shipment would be delayed another half week which left me sleepy on my living room couch. Then day of arrival comes and im forced to stay at home from 2-6 and the order gets to me late even with the four hour window. ( i know this is probally not your guys fault but it should be talked about) I Have my mattress now and thats all that matter to me. It feels great and has everything that's advertised i hope to give a follow up review with a five star rating soon.

This mattress is pretty supportive, I haven't woken up with any back pain yet. BUT the bed to me isn't actually what I would call comfortable. It's pretty firm. If you run your hand on the mattress you can feel the purple gird, which just feels a little odd. Had we laid in the bed before we bought it, we probably wouldn't have! Since we have it and are generally pain free in the mornings, we decided just to keep it. It's an okay mattress, but we're mainly keeping it for the 10 year warranty since most of our beds have start to sag within a couple years

mattress is a little firmer then expected but still very comfortable & cool. area for improvement would be amount of time for shipping. mattress took 3 weeks to be shipped then only 3-4 days for delivery. why so long to leave your facility? A great mattress overall

It took my husband and I over a year, a 1,000 YouTube reviews and 10,000 written reviews to choose a mattress. We were literally scared to make a bad choice! I have long term autoimmune issue, slightly plump and sleep terribly due to my body waking me. My husband is thin and loves to flop around in bed. We are both side sleepers. As most side sleepers know they don't truly make a mattress for us... but wait they do! After our forever long process we realized that Purple 3 was really an ideal mattress for side sleepers. We had to find one to test in person, but we could only find a 2 so we tested that one. My husband was so sure that was the right one for us (he doesn't make impulse decisions, that's me) I insisted that we buy a 3 because all the reviews we found said it was great for side sleepers. Well we broke down and bought a base, protector, sheets and the prize Purple 3. Honestly, I would do it all again because I'm so comfortable. I have never had the "miss" my bed experience- I do now! All I can say is, take the leap and buy. Their customers service is stellar and the bed is crazy comfortable. I actually sleep!

All I can really say is that I LOVE my Purple mattress. I decided to go for the "new" Purple 3 and I couldn't be happier about my decision. I am a longtime sufferer of back and hip pain and since switching to Purple, I have noticed a significant difference in the amount of pain I have. I also really like how it doesn't sink when you sit on it. I live in a situation where my mattress kind of doubles as a couch/chair, so it's important for me to have a durable mattress that's comfortable for both sleeping and sitting. The Purple does very well in this sense, as well. The only downside was how long it took me to receive the mattress and the overall weight of it. It's also just big enough where normal full size sheets are a bit snug. If you are getting a full mattress, you might want to consider getting queen sheets because the fitted sheet will probably fit better.

My wife and I have been sleeping on an adjustable air mattress for 13 years and have recently started experiencing back pain. After reading many glowing reviews about the Purple mattress, we decided to give it a try. The hype is real! We have had the mattress for about a week and a half and we couldn't be more happy with it. No more back pain. No more tossing and turning. No more being drenched with sweat. We have recommended Purple to all of our friends and family. Thank you Purple for changing our lives and showing us what a restful sleep feels like!

We have been so pleased with this mattress. While we were way overdue for a new one (and thus sleeping on a TERRIBLE mattress), as soon as we tested the Purple out at our local mattress store, we were impressed and new right way that we wanted it. No more back pain, no more tossing & turning, just a comfortable rest. Next up to try - the Purple pillows! :D
