This mattress wore out in the middle after 18 months. The divot is 3/4in deep, so not deep enough for the 10yr warranty to apply (it needs to be 1 in. deep), but I also wake up in pain. It was great at first, but now I will sometimes sleep on a mat on the floor rather than be eaten by my mattress again.

We were fortunate enough to have someone suggest that we check out 'The Purple". Having researched every bed ever made with the exception of straw, we settled on buying a Purple. We are ever so happy that we did, from the very first night it was so restful. Minimal aches and pains in the morning and it has improved every night since. We regret the nights that we are away from home but it is a reality check for how many aches and pains we do have from other mattresses. We are looking forward to getting the Purple Pillow.

I received a hassle-free, high quality mattress a few weeks ago. I've slept wonderfully ever since. I have been impressed with the quality of the mattress, the quality of the service, and the quality of the presentation of Purple in general. I would highly recommend Purple.

After doing a lot of research I thought I found the best replacement for our old mattress. We were so excited then we're greatly disappointed. I'm sure this mattress (original purple) would be be good for back sleepers, it's very much not good for side sleepers. My husband and I are both side sleepers and even after months of giving this mattress a try we just couldn't do it anymore. Even my husband, who can pretty much sleep on anything, was waking up with his back hurting. So disappointing! I hope the new purple is a better design for all those side sleepers out there who decide to try it. Wish we would have given up during the 100 night trial, but sadly we gave it more time hoping for it to get better.

I did a TON of research before buying my first new mattress in over ten years! I looked at specs, pricing, and reviews, and finally asked my chiropractor for a recommendation. He said "purple mattress" hands down! I upgraded to the king sized mattress and invested in some jersey sheets to be sure I got the best experience. I'm. In. Love. I'm sleeping better (as documented by my FitBit), and my dog sitters are raving it, too! All things considered, I would highly recommend the Purple Mattress!! :)

I'm not sure if it's becaymuse I don't weight enough (115 lbs) or what but this bed feels really frim for me. The promotional video gave me the impression I would sink into the softness but I have yet to experience that. Going to give it the full 100 days though before deciding.

I bought my husband this mattress as a Christmas present. He is a hard worker at a power plant and often has sore muscles and a sore back. Our previous mattress had us both waking with a sore back. The first night on the PURPLE we slept well and didn't wake sore. He is a stomach/back sleeper and I sleep on my side. We have now been using it a couple months and still sleep sound and have a hard time wanting to leave the bed. We both will wake refreshed and visit before we get out of bed for work. As for customer service, I am not sure what to think. When I ordered the frame I didn't remember it being so far out for delivery. It ended up taking about 4-5 weeks and we used the mattress on the floor during that time. I contacted customer service and would get an immediate automated response but it takes a while to get an actual response from a person. Over all I would purchase the bed again and will probably purchase one for our guest room because we sleep so well.

I like the mattress I feel like it is worth the money I don't really ever sleep with eggs so I don't really care about the role egg test but I do find myself tossing and turning at night because I wake up and my back is hurting slightly I feel like it's the perfect mix between soft and hard but one of these days hopefully I'll find a mattress that I love not 100% sure that purple is that a mattress

I continually have patients ask about what mattress they should buy. Having purchased a purple mattress myself, it is always my top recommendation. The difference is that with other mattresses, they have to "break in" to you and your body over time. This is why when you go to a showroom, lay on a mattress and it feels good and the you get it shipped home and it is not at all what you experienced in the showroom. Eventually, it breaks in but that breaking in continues to eventually become "wearing out." The difference with the purple is that you have to "break in" to it. What I mean is from day one you are going to find that it cushions the curves (convexities) of your body and supports "pushes back" on the concavities. For me, I immediately felt support to my lumbar spine and other areas never before supported by other mattresses. In the beginning (maybe a week) this actually caused some rough nights of sleep as my body had never been supported like this in these crucial places. After my body got used to the new support it was given, I have never slept better. I look forward to going to bed every night. Chiropractic Physician recommended!

My fiancé and I received the king size original purple mattress about 16 days ago, all of the pieces to the bed came separate the mattress protector 1st then the bed frame a week later then that same week the actual mattress came. The timing on receiving the bed was pretty reasonable considering the pandemic we have going on right now (took a total of about 3 weeks.) We have been sleeping like babies, my hips and back use to hurt every morning with our old bed but now that we have the Purple I wake up with no pain at all. It did take me a night or 2 to get use to the mattress like any other bed would have, but once I did it was amazing the kind of support I got from the Purple. My fiancé is now waking up a lot less sore as well, he would sleep on the couch a lot before, we had a queen size so with 2 dogs him and myself there just wasn't enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Plenty of space now, thank you so much Purple we are loving our new mattress!! If anyone is considering buying a Purple I believe they are defiantly worth it!
