I had been suffering from intense sciatica pain for almost a year prior to purchasing my Purple Mattress. Within two weeks of sleeping on it I already noticed a big difference. Within two months my chronic back pain was gone! I no longer need to visit my chiropractor! I am telling everyone to get a Purple Mattress! Another point I wanted to make is how great the financing is for the Purple Mattress. I ended up using the six month financing option which made the mattress more affordable. I really like how the mattress sleeps, for the most part I love it, but it feels like I am already developing some soft spots or holes in the mattress and some nights if I sleep in those spots I have significant back pain. But that doesn't happen frequently. I will buy purple again, next time I will get the newer version.

This mattress is just what my back needed. I have been through sertas, pillow tops, memory foam with gel, and this is the only one that has alleviated my back pain. I had moderate back pain from a car accident 15 years ago and had the pain every day. Since using the purple, the only days my back hurts is when it rainy out. Excellent!! Thanks Purple!!

We are very happy with our king size bed. It's super comfy and has the perfect amount of bounce back when you adjust your sleeping position. Sleeps a lot cooler that our old temperpedic. The only negative is that it took a month to get here! But it was worth it!

I was really excited about my Purple mattress because of all the reviews. I opted for the the original model, due to finances and after about a month, I notice my side is already wearing in, softer than my spouses side who is about 50 lbs lighter than me. I am a little disappointed, and even seriously considered taking part of the guarantee and sending it back, wondering if it is worn already, what will it be like in a year? The pillow was disappointing too, not nearly tall enough to be supportive in any way. I wish there was a way to trade for the protective mattress cover instead, but could not get a direct answer from customer support about how to do that. My spouse has almost completely stopped snoring since we started sleeping on the purple which is a plus, and I do feel like I get a much deeper sleep than I used to. So we will stick it out, I just really hope it holds up!

As a previous owner of a Tempurpedic mattress, I have been trying to survive on hubby's waterbed for 5 years. He loved his waterbed so much, that I gave in and put a memory foam topper on my side. This helped somewhat - but not totally and made for very hot sleeping for me. I wanted to buy a new Tempurpedic mattress, but the waterbed is King size, which put that purchase out of reach. I saw ads for Purple online, became curious and began reading reviews and watching reviews on Youtube. I was not only impressed with the reviews and pricing, but also the generous home trial period. So, I ordered a King Size Purple mattress. There was a 2 week lead time, but I could live for another 2 weeks on the waterbed if I had to. Then, one morning as I was changing sheets on the waterbed I discovered a leak. As I lifted one corner of the mattress to put the clean sheets on, a mattress seam gave way and water begin pouring out. Blessing and curse at the same time! Blessing because this would guarantee I would never have to sleep on it again and curse because now we still had days to wait for the Purple mattress. Here's where Purple's OVER THE TOP customer service comes into play! I sent an email to customer service, explained our situation and all I requested was the status on our mattress shipping date. I received an IMMEDIATE reply - which was great - but what followed was more than I expected. Customer service pushed my order to the front of the line and expedited the shipping! WHAT??? REALLY???? SERIOUSLY????? Who does that???? The Purple mattress arrived a couple days later and we couldn't wait to try it out. I am sleeping comfortably and COOL - which is important for us Boomer ladies suffering our way through menopause. My hips and shoulders no longer ache all night long. And, Hubby - who had a 23 year relationship with his beloved waterbed - discovered the morning following the very first night on the Purple mattress that his aches and pains had vanished. (insert eyeball rolling from me here) We have been sleeping on Purple for exactly 1 month. So far we both love it and I cant imagine our opinions will change. But, its reassuring to know that if for some reason in the future the mattress fails, we can still rely on THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THIS PLANET to help us out. Thank you Purple for coming to my rescue, and thank you for your customer service people who understand the true meaning of "customer service" - you all are my heroes!

My grad student son introduced me to this product in August 2016, and being used to coil spring mattresses, I had my doubts about "new fangled" foam composites. When I was a young man, back in the 70s, I worked piecework at the Simmons Mattress Co. during summers to make money for college. These mattresses were slapped together in record time and I can remember nearly going deaf from the air-powered staple guns used to assemble the box springs. I always thought that was the way to make mattresses. So seeing this "purple thing" gave me doubts. I couldn't have been more wrong. After setting up my son's Purple and feeling the excellent support it offered, I knew I was next. I just ordered a queen-sized Purple two weeks ago and have been sleeping on it for a week. In just one week, my arthritic back pain has improved and I wake up more rested than I ever had on coil spring units...even those with latex foam toppers (that keep slipping around and dry out). The Purple mattress is not too soft, and not too firm....it's just right. I highly recommend this mattress and have to hand it to the guys who patented this technology. Thanks for the product.

So I am a person who constantly moves in her sleep and suffers from back pain. Purple was an affordable and amazing buy. I haven't had any back pain and I have been sleeping like a baby. For the price that I got my purple mattress I would have to say it was worth every cent. If you don't believe try it for yourself.

Site was great. Ordering was easy. Order came earlier than expected. Want to give five stars for the bed but we can't. My wife says it's too hard and her hips hurt and also shoulders every night ever since we have slept on it. It's perfect for me but I can't have her hurting like that. Wish there was an option of having different levels of firmness or perhaps making a custom two halves blended together!

First couple of nights wasn't perfect, but I thought things were getting better, but still not perfect until almost 2 weeks in when I slept "wrong" if such a thing exists on my left side. I woke up a bit sore and ignored it. Slept again on same side and discomfort doubled the next day. Once again I didn't rest shoulder/upper arm and "powered through" the pain discomfort and chalked it up to a quirk and not this mattress. The third night I intentionally avoided sleeping on this left hand side (just back and right side). Since I slept more on my back this third night I noticed my lower back was uncomfortable because it sank down too low and my spine wasn't aligned while sleeping. The third day my pain in my left arm/shoulder had tripled and I could barely move. I had to call in sick and miss a day of work. It took 2 and a 1/2 more days to recover to the point where I could function somewhat normally and 2 more days after that to almost be back to normal again. I didn't sleep on this mattress again and will return mine. I do like the pillow and the seat cushion still though. The pillow did have a strong odor though and I suggest airing it out for a while before using.
