This mattress is amazing! My husband is larger than me and I was always rolling into the middle of the bed=not anymore, I just float on top now. I also used to pop right up out of bed when he got up and I don't do that anymore either because I don't feel the bed shifting around when he gets up. He wakes me up later--I have never slept in before! Here is the best part, my husband has never been thrilled with any mattress and he can't stop singing this one's praises. This really is the most amazing mattress ever.

A few months ago I was surfing reddit and came across a story that had a bunch of neckbeards riled up. It was a video of some guy saying purple mattress will give you cancer or something. being an inflammatory piece, of course it was ate up by the reddit crowd. Being the contrarian I am,, and the fact that the material was of great interest to me, I decided to check you guys out. From all I could gather,, Purple mattress: 1. will not kill me 2. is a legitimate mattress 3. is good for your back. Seeing as I was in need of a new mattress anyway, I decided to splurge on myself a little and buy a queen sized mattress as well as a platform. The day it arrived, I forgot to call someone to help me haul it up the stairs. No worries, I thought. I'm a big man, I can handle it. Well, I ended up throwing my back out... so, I set everything up and took a nap on it immediately in an effort to fix my back. I find the mattress to be firm but with just enough give to work with your body.,it has a good amount of bounce to it as well. It doesn't make much noise either when moving. I use the Platform base with it and I imagine that it helps eliminate noise and assist in keeping everything firm as well. Also, and this is a big one, contrary to what that angry guy said, I did not die. overall, with its unique feel, It is definitely a different experience compared to your run-of-the-mill mattress. If you got the extra cash to spend, and prefer something on the firmer side, I would definitely recommend this mattress. I imagine I will be doing business with purple again in the future, I eventually plan on getting the pillow.

The only reason I give it a 4 is due to the shipping struggles and cleanliness of the mattress delivery. The mattress package was brought into my house very dirty and dusty. The papers and other contents inside prove the package was mishandled and not cared for. The mattress was ordered a month ago and the products only yesterday have all been delivered. I'm not sure if this is the fault of Purple but that's all the negatives I have. Unfortunately, I'm yet to sleep on the mattress yet but I can say that the pillows (which arrived a few weeks ago) have been great!

Purchased my Queen size mattress a couple of months ago. As soon as my fiance and I started sleeping on it, we felt so much better. My fiance's pregnant, and is due a few months from now, and the Purple mattress has actually helped reduce some of her pain from pregnancy since she HAS to sleep on her side now, instead of her back. As for the service, since I bought my mattress before they had the promo of receiving a free seat cushion with the purchase of a mattress, I asked if I could still get the seat cushion, and the customer service rep said yes! Although it's a seat cushion, I actually use it as lumbar support since I spend a lot of time in my computer chair. It's great for it! Thank you Purple!

I've been using a Sleep Number mattress for the last few years. It's basically an air mattress that cost 4X my Purple mattress. My Purple mattress is much more comfortable. I can now sleep through the night! I also highly recommend the Purple Pillow.

I'm a server that carries pretty heavy trays and cast iron skillets, and every night I'd spend tossing and turning in a bed that was always hot, cycling through 4 different pillows always trying to find a cool surface to help me cool down. Every night at 3am I'd wake up and chug two cold water bottles, desperate to cool down and rehydrate. Clearly my problem was I sleep hot, so I bought the purple mattress, foundation, pillows and sheets and I now sleep straight through and wake up in the morning ready to leave my bed. The best purchase I've ever made. You spend a third of your day sleeping, buy the purple and notice how your life is changed. My back pain is gone and that alone is worth thousands.

We tried all sorts of beds. Between my husband and I, there was always something that wasn't right. I love the tempurpedic, my husband gets too hot. He slept great in the Casper, I had painful pressure spots. We thought we should try sleep number and DETESTED the thing! We boxed it up after 1 week and waited 30 days to be able to return it! On the same day we did we saw a commercial for Purple on YouTube. It was meant to be I guess. Promptly ordered it, got it in about 2 weeks and we've been mostly happy since. Our problem has been to find the correct pillow to use with. You sink in this bed more than you do in a Casper and so my pillow was suddenly too tall. I had a sore neck for a week. I think I finally found a pillow that works good. The bed is great though! My husband also really likes the royal cushion. He's skinny and always complains that his butt hurts when he sits for too long!

My wife and I slept on the Purple Queen for it's full 100 day trial. Overall the mattress felt comfortable, but we couldn't get over the fact that you could "feel" the combs when sleeping. On my back the mattress had a nice hug and never slept hot, but I didn't particularly like side sleeping on it. In the end we returned the mattress and opted for a different company. During the entire process, however, the customer service was great!

I'd probably give you a 5, but the 11-12 week shipment time on the 2 sets of sheets is a failure in my opinion, when my original order said 4-6 weeks. I have told 2 of my friends to buy a purple mattress since receiving mine. And they love theirs just as much. I should get a purple pillow for my referrals just for continuing to promote purple despite my delays in shipping!

This is hands down the most comfortable bed that my hubby and I have ever purchased. We used to suffer from neck and back pain with our sleep number and ever since we started sleeping on this mattress, it was like magic! No more pain!! Love love love! I'm recommending it to family and friends! And just received my free seat cushion today. Can't wait to try it out at work! Thank you Purple!!
