The mattress is great no complaints with it. My complaint is with the mattress protector it's awful. It makes the bed loud and very firm, making me want to return the bed. I think Purple should review their return policy or make a softer mattress protector.

I found the timeliness of my order was amazing. I also find the mattress to be quite comfortable. I just find that it is not very deep. I do not feel the slats of my bed frame when I lay down, just when I sit on the edge of the bed. I just wish it was deeper.

Unfortunately, we don't love the purple mattress as much as we had hoped. We both still toss and turn alot and wake up with back pain. We are going to return it and either try an upgraded version from purple or try a different brand. We absolutely love the pillows and sheets though!

Got my bed back in September 2018 and fell in love. All pain immediately disappeared, we were sleeping like babies through the entirety of the nights. However, since April of 2020 I purchased a "platform bed" frame from purple for more storage and now I cannot sleep longer than 1-2 hours every night constantly waking up due to discomfort of the bed. It feels as if it no longer has the support my body needs. I'm 5"10 180 so I know I haven't really broken it down myself with a 10 year warranty. Just wish I could've had the honey moon phase longer than a year and a half.

I've tried just about every kind of mattress out there. I suffer with chronic back pain from scoliosis. This mattress is like a breath of fresh air. It's soft enough to give where I need it to give, yet firm enough that I don't sink into a hole of "mattress quicksand". It's easy to roll over and change sleeping positions. Loving this mattress!

I get a very soar back if I lay on my back in this bed- which is unfortunate. I was really hoping for a bed that would allieviate some of that lower back pain I experience. I think the bed is cool and an interesting concept but it doesn't really work for me and my back pain.

After searching high and low for years to find a bed designed to provide balanced support but not break down or indent after a short time, I took a chance on Purple. Heck, it was an easy chance to take with the shipping and return policy. I purposely waited to write a review. I find a lot of reviews are right out of the box, or after a few weeks, but it's been 10 months (May 2016 to almost April 2017) that I have been sleeping on my Purple. I still feel the exact same support that I felt on night 1. No indents. No sagging. No rolling. Just predictable and comfortable support every night. Once my kids need new real beds, I will be ordering Purple. Once I have a guest room to furnish, I will order Purple. Please keep innovating, you funny creative people at Purple! Thank you!!

My old mattress would make me wake up in the middle of the night with intense back pain. I finally got fed up with the nightly pain so I decided to look for a new mattress... I decided to give purple a try. I can honestly say that I have zero back pain now and sleep through the night!

I have back, neck and hip problems, I was sleeping in a chair, prior to buying this bed. I wake up with the same pain in my hip (I'm a side sleeper) that I had sleeping in my sleep number bed. My back isn't as bad, though. I'm wondering if putting a regular box spring under it would help?

I bought my first Purple mattress (a queen size) several years ago. Then I downsized my house, so sold the mattress w/adjustable frame to my brother. I loved my Purple and really wanted to buy another, but when I downsized, I needed a mattress more quickly than could be provided by Purple, so I purchased a memory foam mattress from another company (single sized). After a year on the memory foam mattress, I really missed my Purple, so gave the single mattress to my daughter to use as a guest mattress and came back to my fabulous Purple mattress. I've been sleeping on the new mattress for a couple of weeks and what I remembered was true. This is the best mattress I have ever slept on and I'll never go back to a memory foam mattress. I sleep all night, am totally comfortable, and refreshed when I wake in the morning. Hooray for Purple!
