This mattress is excellent. I never realized how bad I had it with my old spring mattress. I wake up feeling refreshed now and on occasion not wanting to leave the comfort of my bed. I look forward to laying down on this for the night. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to improve their quality of sleep.

I was very excited to get this mattress and it felt very comfortable. However, each morning of the 5 days I slept on it I woke with such severe spine and back pain it was hard to walk. I am disappointed that I will have to return it for the sake of my spine health.

Myw ife and I first noticed thef itted sheets were stretcy,and different,Hopped in kinda nice they snuggle you nicely.Then we slept like babies,got up next morning and slept so hard we felt like we had new bodies,all fresh.Nice night of sleep.ThankYou Purple very much Love it.

I've tried them all, Sleep Number, Tempur-Pedic, Sealy. The Purple is night and day different. I'd always wake up with an aching back from the others or get way too hot. From the first night both my wife and I felt like we had slept well, and it just kept getting better. We sleep wonderfully now after years of crappy sleep before. When we stay at a hotel we immediately miss the comfort of our Purple Mattress and joke about how we can't wait to get home to it, and at the price it's an absolute bargain. I'd happily pay x10 for the quality of sleep we now get. Thank You Purple, you've made us happier and healthier...

We have had waterbeds, conventional beds, pillow tops, and a select comfort and none of the others have lived up to this bed. My wife and I fall asleep with ease. I don't feel her in the mornings getting out of bed to go to work and she's actually called and woke me because I sleep in.

The idea that the mattress wouldn't develop a sag over time is what lead me to buy a purple in the end, I have had several conventional mattresses and they were all disappointing, I thought I would give this a try, and I've had it now for a few months. Well, its not perfect, but over time I think it might be better than springs. In the morning, it always has a noticeable sag even after a few months on my side (sidesteeper) but not my wifes (stomach sleeper), but it is mostly gone by the evening, and takes a couple of hours for it develop again. I think the squishy gel-like material that is inside needed to be evenly pre-conditioned better from the factory to prevent this. I also think that if you change positions and rotate the mattress alot during the first few weeks it will help. Now, this may sound disappointing, but let me say that the sag isn't as bad as the spring mattresses were in the end, and it seems as if the sag isn't going to get worse over time, it seems as if the material has become as soft as it will. Also, even sagging its not uncomfortable, and my limbs aren't going to sleep, so thats good. So, its too soon to say but I am hopeful that over time, it will live up to the hype. Hope this helps.

It has taken a couple weeks to get used to this mattress because my former mattress was so bad. But I honestly feel like my back is healing now that I have been using the Purple mattress a couple of weeks. Having the correct corresponding pillow is also very important.

The mattress took some adjusting since I previously had a vet soft mattress. After a week or two I plan on keeping my purple mattress. The only critique I do have is being able to feel the square design pattern in the mattress its self! Nothing a thin topper couldn't fix!

As a side sleeper I feel a lot of pressure on my shoulders. I'm a male 6ft tall 190 pounds. If you are a side sleeper I do not recommend this bed to you. I do like the bed sheets I bought with my purple mattress. Shipping took roughly 3 to 4 weeks to arrive at my property. Keep that in mind when you order your mattress as well.

We had a pillow top mattress and had it less than a year before it dipped and gave us horrible back pain. We decided to pull the trigger and take the "risk" of buying a mattress we had never tried. (no risk really since you can return and get your full money back) We got it in and were so excited! My husband loved it immediately but it took me a week or so to get used to it. Try it for the full 30 days before you decide if you don't like it. I was used to sinking into a mattress but that's really not what you want. It is supportive to every part of your body and we now wake up feeling refreshed every morning and back pain is a thing of the past! We will NEVER go back to anything but Purple again!
